Us Two And Them

Chapter 3

Lucas and Jordan looked at us like we had ten heads. "Well then that's okay, I'll make some lasagne then." Lucas said. I mumbled an 'okay' and Roman just said how much he loved lasagne and I guessed right he also went on about Lucas Mercedes to him. I feel bad for kid you know. I wouldn't be surprised if he was dropped a couple of times when he was younger.

Finishing up my sandwich I went to go clean it up in the sink. "You know we have a dishwasher that does that for you?" Jordan said.

"A what?"

Jordan just laughed at me. I have never heard of a dishwasher. I thought that was what a sink was for. We only ever had sink even in the diner.

Jordan got up, took the plate off of me and pulled one of the cabinet doors on the island down. There it was the dishwasher? "It cleans the dishes so you don't have to do it yourself." He deadpanned. I looked at it in amazement if I had of known that, we should of gotten one for the diner. I was once put on dish duty and it was not pleasant and it took hours to do. This could only take minutes.

Jordan turned to Roman who was laughing at my stupidity. See Roman had more of a social life than I did because I was working in the diner to earn us money. I did make friends in the diner people who I worked with and stuff but that was it. Even though I didn't have loads of friends I sure did love to party. A time when I could drink some of my worrys away. Not the best way to handle stuff but it helped. We were actually suppost to go to a party this weekend because its coming up to Halloween so we were on break. But plans change.

"Jordan why don't you show Harlow and Roman around the house. While I get the dinner ready while we wait for the others." Jordan agreed and grabbed both of our wrists to follow him so we wouldn't get lost. Downstairs they had a dining room for family meals, another dining room for when having guests over, a gaming room, libary, wash room,3 bathrooms, a gym, a lounge room for adults, and lastly some guest rooms. Upstairs was our bed rooms, some guest rooms, Angelo and Lucas offices.

I don't even know why we needed a tour because I still remember the house it was still the same. But I guess Roman doesn't. Then we walked outside lets just say outside is big. It had a huge pool in the middle of the yard. A small slide connecting to the pool hidden in decorative rocks. On the right side of the yard had a fire pit and louge chairs around it. There was also a barbecue and a outdoor dining area. To the left was two basketball stands and two goal posts that you could move. If you wanted to play etheir one. The pool house stood behind the pool. Ah the pool house great memories there.

One time when I was younger I walked in on Angelo and some girl doing it. Lets just say I was scared for life. "What are you smiling at?" I hadn't even noticed I started smiling at the memory but it was too late to conceal it Roman had already noticed. "Nothing!"

They decided to ignore it and I took a sigh of relief. We headed back inside and to the gaming room because Jordan wanted to play more games with Roman. Apparently Roman knows how to play playstation. I guess he played it before with his friends?

There was two huge bean bags in the middle of the room facing the big TV. Jordan plopped himself one one and Roman took the other. There was a rolly gaming chair in the corner of the room so I rolled it over and sat down.

They played some football game called fifa and I just spined around on the chair and went on my phone.

"Do you want to play?" Jordan gesturing a control towards me. "Yeah but I don't know how to."
