"I believe that is best as well." Avdol nodded in agreement, then added, "Crossing by land could be more difficult, and we'd have to cross the Himalayas, and the desert."

As the conversation continued, Scarlet Phantom spoke up in my head, tearing me away from the conversation at the table. "Y/N. I understand the route that Mr. Joestar and Avdol are thinking of taking is the best one possible, but I have a bad feeling about this. Surely that Stand user we encountered on the plane wasn't going to be the only one we face."

"Huh?" I sat up. What did she mean by that?

"Is everything okay, Y/N?" Avdol asked.

I glanced over to the fortune-teller and nodded. "Yeah. My Stand was just trying to tell me something. I'm just gonna excuse myself for a minute so I can talk to her properly," I said as I stood up from the table.

As I was starting to walk away from the group of men, Joseph called me back. "Hey, Y/N. If you want to, you can go and look for a hotel for all of us to stay at for the night. You can get first dibs on the room, so you and Scarlet Phantom can talk in private." I glanced back at the old man and smiled, giving him a quick nod in agreement.

Joseph pulled his wallet out of his pocket and acquired a card from the side pockets of the wallet. He also grabbed an old business card and asked a passing waitress if he could borrow a pen before scribbling something down on the back of the business card. "Use this to pay for the rooms." He held the card and business card out to me and added, "We'll be right behind you, and we'll bring something back for you. If anything Scarlet Phantom tells you is of any importance to us, let us know when we get there. I've written my number down for you to text me the location of the hotel." I nodded and took the card and business card from him.

"Thank you, Mr. Joestar. I'll be sure to let you know if something comes up." I smiled as I said goodbye to the group and made my way out of the restaurant.

As I was leaving, I walked past a man with white hair that was styled up like a tower sitting at a table on his own. When I walked past him, our eyes met. I quickly looked away and scurried out of the restaurant. Something didn't feel right about that man, I don't know what it was, but the way he looked at me kinda gave me the creeps.

"Hey, Scar. Did you sense something from that man we passed? Something seemed familiar about him," I asked as I walked down the path from the restaurant, looking out for a hotel.

"Something did seem familiar, but I can't put my finger on it," Scarlet Phantom said as she materialized beside me, startling me slightly.

"You can talk to me while you're not in my head?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well, duh! If I can talk to you in your head, of course I will be able to talk to you out loud as well." The red-haired Stand rolled her eyes, then added, "I chose to speak to you through your mind back on the plane, so the enemy didn't hear me tell you that Nori was planning something."

"I guess that makes sense. Anyway, we're changing the subject here," I said as I stopped walking and glanced back at the restaurant. "I have a rough idea what this familiar feeling is, and it isn't good."

"What is it?" She asked, cocking her head slightly.

"Think about it for a moment. That man was giving of a really evil aura. Something similar to what Nori gave us was he was under the control of DIO's Flesh Bud," I pointed out.

Scarlet Phantom's eyes widened at the realization. "We have to get back there. Now!" She said with a sense of urgency before running past me back to the restaurant.
