I nodded in agreement. "India was one of the places I've always wanted to visit. I've read up on its culture and was so intrigued to learn more about it through actually visiting the country," I said as I took a sip of my chai tea.
"You can't be serious, Y/N and Jotaro?" Joseph looked over at us, horrified.
"Of course we're being serious. We're not just gonna say all that for the fun of it," I said with a shrug.
"Hey, don't get cheeky to your elders, young lady," Joseph lightly scolded and pointed a mocking finger at me which in turn made me giggle.
"It's a hell of a lot of culture shock, though," Polnareff commented as he placed his cup down on the saucer in front of him. "Guess I'll like it once I get used to it." The Frenchman stood up and reached down for his bag, slinging it over his shoulder. "Well, I suppose people adapt to their surroundings eventually..." He trailed off before looking over at the waiter standing near our table. He walked over to the waiter and asked, "Where's the john?"
"It's right over there, sir," the waiter said as he pointed in the direction of the toilets.
As the Frenchman was starting to walk away, Joseph called out to him. "Hey, Polnareff!"
"Yeah?" Polnareff stopped walking and glanced over his shoulder at us.
"Aren't you going to order first?" Joseph asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Pick for me. It better be something amazing. Something gorgeous and sophisticated that suits a Frenchman such as moi," he said before taking his leave. I glanced over at Joseph whose jaw was hitting the table.
"Which means it doesn't matter. He'll eat anything," Nori said as he flicked through the menu. "Let's see. What's something that he'll like?"
I leaned towards the redhead and spoke only loud enough for the other men at the table to hear. "Make sure you get him the most disgusting looking thing on the menu."
"Remind me to never let you order anything for me," Joseph said with a frown.
Avdol chuckled softly and looked over at me. "So, Y/N. Have you learned anything about your Stand yet?" He asked before taking a sip of his tea.
"Does being annoying as hell count?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Hey! I am not annoying!" Scarlet Phantom growled as she materialized behind me.
"My point exactly," I said with a sigh before turning to face the red-haired Stand and saying, "Could you stop materializing whenever you please? You'll end up drawing unwanted attention."
Suddenly, Polnareff came bursting out of the toilets, his eyes frantically searching the room. "A Stand!" He shouted as we looked over at him with wide eyes whilst all the other customers looked over at him in confusion.
"Well done. Though I must admit you're quite slow seeing as a Stand kicked your ass." Scarlet Phantom folded her arms over her chest, giving the Frenchman a smirk as she recalled our fight in Hong Kong.
"Do you always think that everything's about you?" Polnareff growled as he approached our table. "I saw him. The man with two right hands." He looked around the restaurant once more before turning and running out of the restaurant. We all looked at each other before jumping out of our seats to go after Polnareff.
"Polnareff? What's the matter?" Joseph asked as we got outside to see the Frenchman desperately looking up and down the street.
"If that Stand belongs to who I think it does... Then that means I've finally found him." Polnareff clenched his fists in anger before turning to face me and Jotaro. "Jotaro, Y/N. The Stand user who uses the mirrors. He's here," he said in a low growl.
