Another explosion rocked the ground as the person in front of him leapt further away. He was vaguely aware of a Susanoo around him, the ribcage that encased and protected him glowing an eerie purple.
Another thing he realized was that he wasn't the one in control. He studied the figure in front of him with eyes - were they his? - who was breathing heavily, standing from a distance. The raw anger overwhelmed him every time he stared at this mystery person.
Another attack was aimed his direction and this body he was in - co-inhabiting? - lurched back and dodged the attack, retaliating with another chakra attack.
Who is that?
A name popped into his head.
Ashura.
Suddenly another attack was headed straight for his face. Sasuke, at the last second, realized that he probably should get out of the way.
So he immediately jumped up, and landed with a flip, crouched low on the ground. His hand reached back for his sword on instinct, but realized that it wasn't there.
Ah, I'm still in this weird dream world.
Oh, and he was in control now.
Upon realizing this, he started towards with the intent to stop this fight, even as his chest was constricting with emotions.
Sasuke managed to get close enough to touch the other person.
He reached a hand out intending to stop this person in their tracks, but strangely, even with his sharigan, he wasn't able to clearly see his face.
Before he was able to make contact, his whole vision went dark.
The last thing he heard was a whisper that sounded like it had come from an old man.
Not now, Indra.

SasukeSasuke was still perplexed from the dream as he woke. He was able to see a few small rays emerging from the cracks of the window, telling him that it was morning, or the drack of dawn.
It was a strange.
He was concerned too. Where did that come from? Was that just a normal dream?
It definitely didn't feel like a normal dream.
He'd ask Naruto later. Maybe he'd have an idea on what happened.

.
"Hey, Naruto." Sasuke landed beside Naruto next to the entrance of the temp base. Naruto wove a few handsigns and activated a jutsu that re-hid the entrance before turning to his partner. His red hair was back and the mask rest comfortably on the side of his head.
"Yeah?" Naruto replied.
Sasuke wasn't sure how to start this conversation.
Might as well get straight to the point, then. "Well, I had a strange dream last night."
Naruto frowned. "A strange....dream?"
He nodded. "I was on a battlefield. Fighting someone whose face I couldn't really make out. I had my sharigan active, so I found that strange."
"Wait, you've also been having those dreams?" Naruto asked, a bit bewildered.
Sasuke was surprised at his reaction. Because what? "No, that was the first time. I thought you might know something." He paused. Wait, why did I think Naruto had a clue? I had no reason to.
"So you're saying, you've been experiencing the same thing?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto frowned, as he put a hand to his chin, lost in thought.
"Did anything stand out to you? " The blonde eventually asked.
Sasuke glanced back at Naruto. "There was one thing. There was absolutely no noise. Not a single sound, despite it being a battleground."
"I meant like names. Do you remember any names from it?"
Well, that was strange. Or at least, he thought, until he remembered the last thing in that dream of his.
"Indra. Someone called me Indra in that dream."
Naruto seemed somewhat unsurprised at that answer. "I was fighting Indra in mine."
Realization dawned on Sasuke. "And I was fighting Ashura. You were Ashura in yours, weren't you?"
A small nod was all he needed in confirmation.
"Shared dreams? ... No ... is this being shown to us from an outside source?... Are they memories or something? ... What about reincarnation?" Naruto muttered.
"Do you think this is the work of an outside influence?" Sasuke asked.
"It's highly likely, actually. I think I'd be more surprised if it wasn't" Naruto ruffled his hair in frustration. "UGH!!! I don't get this at all!"
Sasuke frowned but he did have an idea on what they could do. "Let's go to the Uchiha Compound. We might be able to understand what the dreams mean if we look there."
Naruto looked up, startled. "Wait, are you suggesting-."
Sasuke met his gaze with a firm conviction.
"We'll have to go back to Konoha."
