CHAPTER 2

"cge po ate thank you ulit"then I waved my hand  and sumakay na ako sa elevator then pumunta na ako sa parking lot and sumakay sa sasakyan ko then nag drive thru lang ako to get nuggets and fries and float then wedges a whole bunch of em then headed back to Sammy's shop

pagdating ko ay nagpatulong ako sa mga guards sa pagkain and yes mga guards ganon siya karami na kinailangan tatlo kami ang magbuhat pagdating sa taas pumasok na kami sa office ni Sammy then pinalapag sa table yung lahat ng food

"grabe ka roro isang brgy papakainin mo?"Sasha

"don't call her roro I'm the only one allowed to call her that"kunot noong sabi ni Lexi ganyan talaga siya masyadong possessive akala mo eh boyfriend ko palibhasa nauna kaming nagkakilalang dalawa bago kaming lahat at Bata pa lang kami ganyan na siya minsan masyado pa siyang overprotective

"what are you her boyfriend?"Sasha

"no but I tell you call her that again at hindi ako magkakama-" tinabihan ko siya at pinakalma this side of hers is dark and dalawa lang kami ang nakakaalam non she almost perfected the art of pretending but sometimes she slips and kaya agad ko siyang pinakalma coz her eyes were cold while saying that her voice was scary and I saw how Sasha eyes showed fear for Lexi

"Lexi is just kidding guys Alam niyo naman itong tomboy na ito shes too possessive when it comes to somethings she own"napatango tango naman si Sasha

"Lele calm down sweety you can't slip not now"saka ko pinilig yung head niya sa shoulders ko while caressing her hair "close your eyes breath in breath out happy memories sweetie happy thoughts smooth breeze calm sea tall trees smell the sensation " bulong ko sakanya yan naman kasi lagi ang nakakapakalma sakanya those things kasi gives the two of us a different sensation something unexplainable and coz of that her breathing calmed then when she opened her eyes gone was the cold stare then she smiled pretending to be happy but she can't gimme that I know her too well to fall for her mask

"you know me I don't like you calling her roro like I call her it's something to me" sabi niya still lying on my shoulders then she shrugged pagtapos non ay nag tuloy tuloy naman ang usapan naming lima habang kumakain when I remembered kung bakit ako nagmamadaling bumalik kanina dito

"so ano nga pala ang sabisasabihin niyo sa akin kanina when I was on my way out of the shop?"baling ko sa dalawa

"oh yeah that uum"Sasha all eyes were on the two

"si Sandra na bahalang magsabi sayo"I gave her a confused look at bumaling kay sandra

"anong ako you tell it"Sandra

"ow come on just spill it"Lexi giving them her annoyed look

"um it's about kuya/Sean" sabay nilang sabi

"what about him?"I asked

siniko ni Sandra si Sasha "um his back and he'll stay here"

"aaahhhh and so?"Lexi at ako I gave her a I don't care look"for good"at doon na ako napatahimik

"saan siya titira"tanong ni Sammy

"sa condo daw niya"Sasha

"old or new?"Lexi

"wala siyang bagong condo binenta na niya"Sandra

"so basically sa luma"Sasha

"oh shit"I can't stop myself from cussing hays what a life

"oh bakit?"Sandra then they all looked at me

"magkatabi lang yung condo nila"Lexi

"WHAT? bakit di ko alam?"

"kasi never ka pa namang pumunta sa condo niya noon am I right?"ako

"um oo"Sasha

"that's why"ako

"anyways una na ako mag go grocery pa ako eh wala na kasi akong stocks"sabay naman silang napatango tsaka kami nag beso beso

"Lele can you come with me?"pa cute ko sakanya

"it's like Im allowed to say no"pikon niyang Sabi

"hehehe yes thank you sweetie sabay halik ko sa pisnge niya"

"sige I'll be on my car you make ligpit your self na muna convoy na lang tayo"at nauna na akong lumabas kesa sakanya at kinuha yung mga dress ko that I make iwan on the attic kanina then I went to my car na and went straight to the mall where we always go to buy some groceries

ng makarating ako sa parking lot ay andun na rin si Lexi so sabay kamibg pumasok inside the mall then I pulled a cart and kumuha din siya then sabay kaming naglakad at unang pumunta on the laundry section

"so he's back huh"she said without looking at me

"hmm"I answered then shrugged

"ow come on roro"

"what?"

"Wala lang talaga sayo that he's back that you will see the man you hate after 5 years ow come on you gotta feel something"

"honestly lex I don't know what to feel kasi parang ano ba dapat para namang naging kami eh best friends lang naman kami or must I say ex best friends?"

"not because you were just best friends for 8 years doesn't mean your not allowed to be hurt, especially when he leaves you without any word"

"I don't know"

"yes you do you just don't want to name it coz you want to not care about him and his existence yet you actually do"
