Chapter 12: boo's on the balcony

"What is it? It's just a few...Boos, we've caught them before!" I said as my gaze was locked onto the boos.

Luigi shook his head. "It's not that, your hurt so I'm not sure you'll be safe!" Slowly turning my head back to Luigi, I gave him a small smile as I stared into his blue orbs.

"I told you, I'll be fine, let's get them!" I whisper yelled. Luigi didn't say anything as you walked cautiously towards the boo's, he followed behind.

"That scaredy-cat Luigi has made it this far...oh were so frightened! I guess it our turn then, all right boos let's assume our real form...but first, how about we give him a little scare!"

They never mentioned my name, but the boo's all turned towards us, cackling and disappearing. We were then surrounded as the boo's circled us quickly until they shot up into the sky and everything warped like before.

The balcony stayed the same, however the sky, of course, became the usual warped setting of purple, pink and back. The two unicorn statues were covered in ice, little snowflakes twinkled around them.

We then hear a loud laugh, one that causes fear to shake some of the bravest of people. "W-what was that...?" Luigi muttered, you looked up and immediately panicked.

"Look out!" I yelled and quickly pushed Luigi out of the way, causing the both of you to fall on the ground, and your ankle received more damage. "Oh my...."

A giant boo stared at me, cackling like a maniac. Luigi got up on his feet and helped me up. And we split up I went to the left, whilst Luigi went to the right. However Boolosus wouldn't lock onto me, he only went for Luigi, as the plumber stayed near to the statue, the big boo popped, letting out the 15 boos that made him.

I quickly grabbed ice and ran towards the huddle of boos tormenting my green friend, "quickly freeze them!" You yelled at Luigi as you sprayed the freezing, cold air out of the poltergust, freezing 5 of the boos and sucking them up.

"Stay out of this Y/N~!"

The boos laughed all at once, one of them attacking me, pushing my already weak body to the ground. "Luigi, freeze them!" He gave a firm nod and caught the ice elemental ghost and freezes 3 boos, the remaining 7 all collected back and became their true form once more...

"If you want to play with us, they let's play!"

I swiftly got up and tried my best to avoid Boolossus, However before the boo could get a chance to land on top of me, Luigi caught the big boo by the tail and dragged him to the unicorn statue. He popped again and the other 7 boo's departed, and of course they became much more smarter, as Luigi got 2, and I only got one. 4 remained, Boolossus wasn't as big as before, but he could certainly still hurt us, and that's what he did. Luigi was knocked down by the boo, loosing his balance and falling on the ground face first.

Luigi got up and retreated, I of course took his place and caught Boolossus by the tail and popping him with the horn of the statue again. However this time we only got 1, after they saw what happened to their fellows they would try and completely avoid us when we did the ice attack, only to come in close for an attack.

This when on for a few minutes but eventually there was only one boo left, Luigi was looking half alright. Me on the other hand was on the verge of dying.
