Unexpected adventures (Luigi x reader)

Chapter 12: boo's on the balcony

"W-we...need to get that last boo...and fast!" I weakly yelled towards Luigi, falling to the ground as my legs gave up from beneath me. every time he would over at me, he would have an extremely worried expression, and I knew that I would be getting an earful after the fight. He then grabbed more of the ice element, I slowly got up and luckily I wasn't just knocked back down.

I used the last remaining ice element I had and stood on the right, Luigi was on the left and we were waiting close to the middle. As soon as the boo did the dumb move of going to the middle, he was immediately blasted with Ice. Luigi quickly sucked the boo up and I closed my eyes,  everything went white, soon as I opened my eyes again, everything was back to normal.

Luigi quickly ran towards me, "oh my god! Y/N, you shouldn't of aggravated the boos to turn on you!"

I could see tears about to leave his eyes, he swiftly embraced me into a hug. "Please don't...don't do that again..." slowly I wrapped my arms around him, and we stayed like that for a few seconds before a certain someone rung.

"Y/N, Luigi, can you hear me?"

I was about to tell him we were perfectly fine, however The distressed Luigi cut me off, "N-no were not fine, Y/N is badly wounded."

"Oh dear..." E Gadd muttered, "Luigi bring her back now!" The scientist quickly hung up. I narrowed my eyes at Luigi.

"Why didn't you say that both of us were badly hurt?"

Luigi rolled his eyes, "I'm alright, even if I did take a slight beating in THAT fight, you took a few hits in the safari room."

We got the diamond key and carefully headed all the way down the stairs and to the outside of the mansion. Soon enough we were at E Gadd's lab, after a slight struggle to get down the ladders.

Once E Gadd saw us, he went pale and then took my hand, guiding me towards a sofa, don't know how he got that in here but I just rolled with it.

"Luigi, let's turn the ghosts back into painting real quick..."

The two left the room and I laid down, body aching. As my eyes were starting to close, the door swung open, which caused me to let out a loud yell and sit up quickly. Which made more pain shoot through my body.

"Y-Y/N! A-are you ok?"

Luigi said as he rushed over to me, "I-am fine...just got scared by the door opened very aggressively..."

"Sorry Y/N, that was my bad..." E Gadd stated, "now I actually want to go test something, since something happened when you and Luigi were taking a nap together."

"W-what happened?" Luigi muttered, E Gadd looked towards a monitor, which seemed to have reading of some sort.

"Well...you'll find out in a moment, but it also could be a reason why paranormal readings are around here," E Gadd stated.

"Soo...what do you need us to do?" I muttered.

"All I need you to do is to embrace Luigi."

I raised a brow in confusion, Luigi just looked away, a pink hue dusting his face. "W-why?"

"Please just do it."
