Chapter 14: jar collection...?

Luigi stud beside me defensively, glaring at the purple ghost. "Welly, Welly, Well, we can't just let you look at 'em for free, can we?" The ghost questioned, I looked over at Luigi clearly confused, he was too. "If you'd like to look at me jars, you'd best challenge me first!"

"Alright," I muttered, "what's this challenge you speak of?"

Luigi stared at you in shock, "how can we trust him?"

"Don't worry boyo! All you need to do is freeze seven o' me with that ice!" The ghost stated at hi tilted his head towards the ice covered jar in the corner of the room. "Let us begin!"

Immediately, the jar obsessed ghost disappeared and I frisky looked around, "get that ice quick!"

Luigi did what you said and sucked up some of the ice element, I kept on watch...once he appeared from a jar I would quickly point it out so Luigi could have a change to catch the weird pig looking ghost in the ice.

After it was repeated six other times me and Luigi were completely exhausted, "games over you two! And the results are..." Jarvis later came back with a shocked expression on his face, "you got seven o' me, I can't believe it, how could I loose?"

"You've made me red in the face for sure, maybe you would like to get stuffed into one of these jars?"

"W-wait what?"

I was cut of as all of the jars started to shake and set themselves towards us, me and Luigi luckily kept dodging them, I saw that idiotic jar ghost and caught him in the rays of the flash flight and started to suck him up, however a jar hit me in the face and smashed, causing me to release the ghost and collapse onto the ground.

"WHY YOU LITTLE-!"

I heard Luigi yell at the top of his lungs, I watched as the plumber dodged all of the jars that flew at him. After a few seconds the gallery ghost was captured and all the jars stopped in the air before floating back to their original places.

"W-well done Luigi," I sighed heavily as I pulled myself off the ground.

"Y/N! Oh my god!" Luigi rushed towards me and he lifted my head towards the light, looking at wound the jar cause, "can you heal that wound?"

"We can at least try...?"

I slowly nodded and the two of us embraced each other into a gentle hug, we were breathing in sync as the blood running down my face slowly cleared and the pain faded away. "Are you alright?" He whispered.

His voice was soft and it caused shivers to run down my spine, Luigi released me from the hug and moved the hair out of my face, "it's...mostly healed...there's a nasty scar near your eye though..." he touched the scar and I immediately flinch at his touch. "S-sorry!"

"I'm fine, honestly let's go to our next area...which is..." I pulled out the GB and saw the second floor had a room which was yet to be discovered, "the second floor!"

Luigi let out a heavy sigh, "time for those stairs again..."

"Hey at least going down stairs is easier than going upstairs!" I stated as we started making our way to the balcony.

"I couldn't agree more!"

We made our way towards the sitting room and took out the golden ghosts and temper terrors that lurked. Eventually we entered the room next door and found everything upside, even the girl in the room was upside down, snoring as she slept on the bed.

"Don't try to wake me...Go away!"

The girl then started muttering 'I won't wet the bed' over and over again. The room then started to shake aggressively.

"This just keeps on getting weirder!" I whisper-yelled. Luigi only answered with a slight nod, I then got an idea, "do you have any water element left?"

"Yes, yes I do," Luigi said, he then raised a brow, "why do you ask?"

"Try and spray her with the water, see if that does anything," I stated. Luigi had an unsure look on his face but agreed. He went to the upside down bed and started to spray the water at the girl. Eventually she woke up and the whole room shook violently. Clown toys on the chairs came heading right towards us, however Luigi sucked them up whilst I felt with sue pea, even when she was being captured she was still upside down.

Luckily enough it wasn't much of a struggle as she was captured and a chest appeared on the ceiling. "How on earth are we going to get that?"

Luigi then grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the room. After a few seconds later the room shook again, and Luigi re-entered to see everything back to normal. "Wow that actually worked..."

"Well...at least we can open this chest and get more money!" After we collected it all Luigi looked at the GB. "I'm guessing we're going down to the basement now?"

"Yeah, well...let's get this over and done with, I'm sure that we're close to finding the way to Mario." Luigi said, we then started to make our way down to the depths of the basement once again...

"Hey Y/N?"

"Yeah?"

"Will we be able to save Mario...?"

"I'm sure if anyone can save Mario, it's us two, we're an unstoppable team, right?"
