Nori took my hand and I helped him crawl the rest of the way out of the car. Once away from the wreckage, Nori stood up and looked down at my leg that was oozing with blood. Without hesitation, the redhead removed his gakuran and white shirt. He knelt in front of me and used his white shirt to create a makeshift bandage over the wound on my leg, wrapping it tightly around the top of my thigh where the cut was.
My cheeks heated up slightly as I caught a glimpse of his toned back, making me look away quickly.
"There, that should do it for the time being." He pat the shirt on my leg to make sure it was secure before standing back up. I glanced back at him, instantly regretting it as my eyes made contact with his smooth skin and abs.
I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat. Why did this guy have to look so damned gorgeous?! If I was a flustered mess seeing just his collar bones poking out from under his shirt the other night, I dread to know what I looked like now.
"Y/N? You okay?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I-I'm fine! It's just a bit hot out here, that's all." I smiled and let out a nervous laugh as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"You sure?" He asked again. "Do you want to use my gakuran to shield you from the Sun?" He offered his gakuran.
"No, it's okay!" I held my hands out, pushing his gakuran back to him.
"Okay?" The redhead's eyebrow raised higher as he slid his gakuran back on, fastening the buttons so his chest was covered once more.
I let out an inner sigh of relief before looking around. A flash of silver caught my eye and I saw that Polnareff had summoned Silver Chariot to slice a piece of reflective metal with his sword.
"Polnareff? What's going on?" I asked.
"Kakyoin, Y/N. Avoid any reflections!" He warned us as he jumped behind a rock. Nori and I looked at each other and started to follow him. Nori ended up walking ahead of me, stopping to realize I wasn't beside him. He turned to look over at me and watched me limp towards him. Nori walked back over to me, placing one hand behind my back and the other behind my legs before picking me up bridal style. I wrapped an arm around the back on his neck as he started to run over to the rock where Polnareff had hid behind.
Once we had joined Polnareff behind the rock, Nori gently set me down between them both. We all pressed our backs against the rock.
"Y/N was right. He's going from mirror to mirror. I saw him do it," Polnareff spoke between pants. "He must have travelled all this way by reflecting over and over. It's the only explanation to how he was able to catch up with us."
"Reflecting?" Nori repeated the phrase before his eyes widened in realization. "That means he's actually light! So, you're saying the true nature of his Stand is light?"
"That sounds about right." I nodded. "How else would he be able to do it? Yes, we theorized a mirror world, but if that was the case, he wouldn't be able to travel from reflective surface to reflective surface."
"We need to steer clear of any reflective objects," Polnareff added.
"That's all well and good, Polnareff. But the problem we face is everywhere around us, there's always a reflective surface," I pointed out.
"Quick! Take off anything shiny," he instructed as he started to remove his earrings. Nori also removed his earrings and shoved them into his gakuran pocket.
I wasn't wearing anything with a reflective surface, so I just sat and kept watch while the two men were sorting themselves out.
A boy walked over to us with a look of confusion. "Are you guys okay? Do you need me to get you any medicine?" He asked sweetly before looking down at my leg wrapped up in Nori's shirt. "Excuse me, Ma'am, it looks like you're hurt. Would you like me to get the bandaged up for you?" He asked me as he pointed down at my leg. I looked down at the wrapped-up wound and back up to the boy with a smile.
