(Gaming Night) Meko x Reader

"Hello there (Y/N). It's so nice for you to have us over for dinner." said Mrs Kubota aka Meko's mum. 

"Oh sure. It's all goods." (Y/N) said back to Mrs Kubota. (Y/N) let my mum and I inside. My mother went straight towards where (Y/N)'s mother was. I was left with (Y/N) in the living room. 

"It's nice to see you again (Y/N)" I said with a not so confidence voice. (Y/N) looked at me then looked away. Did I do something wrong?

"Yeah, it's nice to see you too Meko." (Y/N) said back to me. (Y/N) still wasn't looking at me. 

"Did I do something wrong?" I questioned. (Y/N) gave me a pissed off look. I sat down on the couch. I felt bad about what I've done to (Y/N) over the summer.  

I thought about the main thing I did to (Y/N) over the summer. (Y/N) and I were over at the arcade. Playing games. I got a glitch alert on my gauntlet. I backed away from her/him. When I was out of site from everyone. I opened my gauntlet and my tech suit appeared. I tracked the glitch which was across the road from the arcade. My buddy Five joined me. Little did I know. (Y/N) came out of the arcade looking for me. She/He noticed me fighting the glitch. Once Five and I finished the glitch. I noticed that (Y/N) had been watching us the whole time. I did the only good thing. I memory wiped (Y/N)'s brain. It worked on her/him. 

"Look. I'm sorry about I've done to you over the summer. It's just that...um work has been pretty busy due to....um....things." I stutter. 

"Why do I bother being your friend?" (Y/N) said under her/his voice. 

"What was that?" I questioned. (Y/N) finally looked at me with a more annoyed expression. 

"Meko. (Y/N). Dinner's ready." (Y/N)'s mother called from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen with (Y/N) behind me. 

"Grab yourself a plate and cup. You can eat your food out the back on the porch since it's a beautiful afternoon." Meko's mum said. I grabbed a plate for myself and (Y/N). We got our food and headed to the back. (Y/N) still looked kinda upset.

"Hey (Y/N). Maybe we could play one of your video games after dinner?" I asked with confidence. (Y/N) looked up from her plate. She/He was confused but went to a soft smile. 

"Of course. I'd like that." (Y/N) replied. 

*After Dinner*

1st POV

Meko and I headed to my bedroom where my gaming console was. We entered my bedroom. Meko sat on my bed while I turned on the TV and Hinobi console. I looked through the games we can play together. 

"Battle of the monsters? No. Heros or villains? No. Meko, what do you wanna play?" I asked placing down the games I have. Meko got up and made her way towards me. She sat down next to me and looked through the games. 

"I haven't played Battle of the Monsters. So, can we play that?" Meko asked. I nodded my head. Meko started the game. We played against the games monsters and each other. It was mostly each other to see how good we were. I kept on choosing monsters than Meko didn't know that had secret codes to them to get critical hits. We we've been playing for 30 minutes and both of the mum's didn't come to check on us. We just kept playing.

"Does your mum know that we are playing games together?" I asked looking over at Meko. Meko looked back. 

"Most likely." Meko replied. she continued to press buttons on the controller to beat me.
