"You're more competent in combat and your quirk would be more helpful. We can use your senses for this too."

You nodded, understanding what he's saying.

"So basically, because I proved myself capable of sneaking around by cutting classes, I am now chosen to be part of this mission?" You said with a slight cringe in your voice.

"As I've said, you're really good in combat and your heightened senses would help a lot. But yes, sneaking around without getting caught is also one of the main reasons." He paused before continuing. "This mission will be dangerous, of course. But it's part of being a hero." Mr. Aizawa said. "If you accept, me and Mic will be your partner."

"Mr. Yamada?"

"He's loud, I know. But he's for backup. He'll stay here in school while we go outside." Mr Aizawa said and you can't help but smile when he said that Present Mic is loud then you heard the said hero yelled 'hey'.

You looked down, suddenly feeling the weight of the situation on your shoulders. They are expecting on you to help them acquire information or even catch this villain. That's a big responsibility. But if you look on the bright side, they recognised your capabilities as a hero. It will be a great opportunity for you to work with pro heroes and learn a thing or two.

Of course, like what Mr. Aizawa said, it will be really dangerous. All of you do not have any idea who or what are you up to.

"Do you have any questions [Y/N]?" Principal Nezu said.

'A lot.' You're tempted to say it but swallowed the words instead.

"Can... can I think about it first Principal Nezu?" You said with a small voice.

"Of course. Let Mr. Aizawa know tomorrow morning if you made up your mind. Then we will discuss further details and instructions." The principal said kindly. You nodded with a smile and then he ended the meeting.

You excused yourself first but after a few steps away from the meeting room, Mr. Yamada came running after you.

"[Y/N]! Wait!"

"Sir?" You stopped on your tracks and faced him. He smiled at you before stopping to talk to you.

"I forgot to tell you that I'll give your special quiz the day after tomorrow. I'm supposed to give it to you tomorrow but I thought you'll need your time tonight to think about whether you'll accept the mission or not." He said.

"Oh Mr. Yamada, that's so thoughtful of you. Thank you so much!"

"You're very welcome! Then, can you give me at least 20 minutes from your lunch time for the quiz? I don't have any extra time on that day." He said.

"Of course Sir. Again, thank you so much!" You said with a smile. You almost want to hug the man but held back. He's really nice. That's why he's one of your favorites.

"Great! Make sure you study okay? Now, off you go." He said and you waved at him before running off.

When you arrived at the dorms, you went at the back quietly and visited the cats first to give them some food before going inside.

"Hi! I'm sorry I'm late. Here, have some food."

The cats munched happily on the foods you gave them, temporarily giving you peace while watching them. When they finished, you checked the time and it's already 7:00 pm. You decided to go straight to the dining room and saw some of your classmates are still in the common area, playing board games.

Heck, you're starving so you'll eat first.

"[Y/N]-chan." You stopped on your tracks when you heard Tsuyu call your name. You waved at them.

"[Y/N]! We've been waiting for you and we don't know what time you'll be back so we ate already, sorry." Uraraka said. "But we set aside your share of dinner beforehand. You can heat it up. Bakugo cooked, it's good!"

"Thanks! I'm sure it's good. Ne, Bakugo?" You wiggled your eyebrows at him.

"Tsk. Of course it's fucking good! I cooked it! It's better than what you all make, you extras." He said.

You mouthed an 'okay' and went to the dining area to eat. It's really good but you won't tell him that. Not after he called you an extra.

There’s also some cookies baked by Sato and those are the best cookies you ever tasted in your life.

Satisfied and full, you told your friends that you'll go to bed early. They didn't stop you so you went to your room and took a quick but relaxing shower. You read some of your notes in English before lying down on your bed, just staring at your ceiling.

All the information from this afternoon are coming back to you. You really want to accept for it is a really great opportunity. But you're still torn between yes or no.

After a while of thinking and analysing, realization suddenly came down upon you.

"What am I doing. I should have accepted it on that moment they asked me! Heroes should never hesitate to accept these kind of things!" You said, face-palming yourself.

You stood up immediately, checked yourself in the mirror if you're presentable enough, and went downstairs. It's almost 11 in the evening so everyone must be in their respective rooms already.

You went in the kitchen where you can hear some noise and saw Jiro drinking water.

"Jiro."

"Wah! Oh! [Y/N]!." She said, startled by your sudden appearance.

"Sorry. You're still awake?" You asked her.

"Yeah, I'm almost asleep when I felt thirsty." She said and sipped from her water again. "How about you?"

"Oh, I was studying when I remembered I forgot to tell Mr. Aizawa something. Did you happen to see him?"

"He passed by me when I entered the kitchen. He's still awake for sure." Jiro said. "I'll go now. I really need to catch up some sleep. Goodnight [Y/N]."

"Goodnight and thank you!"

Now, all you have to do is go to Mr. Aizawa's room, knock on his door and tell him your decision. Easy. So easy that your nervousness is not even necessary.

"Okay here we go. You can do it [Y/N]." You told yourself.

In no time, you're in front of his door. No one's around for he's the only one occupying a room in this floor. You inhaled, tapping your hair down for it started to rise slowly because of your uneasiness.

Finally, you knocked.
