Chapter 32

"There beautiful." She sighed looking at them.

I turned my head so it was looking at her.

"Ye they really are."

She looked at me and relised what I ment. Even in the dark I could tell she was blushing.

"Summer can I ask you something?" The nerves wers starting to come back. I think she noticed since she grabbed my hand and gave me a reassurance smile.

"Sure"

"Do you want to be my date for the dance?"

She sat up and I did too. Next thing I knew she jumped on top of me hugging me.

"Of course. I'll go to the dance with you!" She looked deep into my eyes. I glanced at her lips and she did the same.

We both kissed. I might sound over exaggerating but I couldn't be happier. Everything has been going so well lately and I didn't want anything to change.

After a while of just enjoying eachothers company and staring up at the stairs. I started to walk back woth Summer who Mom was collecting her soon.

"I had such a good time Roman. Thank you." Just as she said that her Mom pulled up.

"Me too" I smiled and waved her goodbye as she got into the car. I watched it until I saw it disappear.

Walking back into the house with the biggest smile on my face.

Once I opened the door. Lucas shot up from the couch walking over to me with a grin. Giving me a fright.

"So?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"She loved it and she said yes!" I said. I sound like a girl right now gossiping things to her friends.

"Whoop! Whoop! Thats my baby bro right there! And guess who helped him? Me!" He pointed at himself showing the imaginary crowd.

I started laughing.

"Were going to need to egt tou something to wear! OMG! I need to look!" Then he ran off up to his room probably to do who knows what.

I started walking up to my bedroom since it was getting late and I had school in the morning. I changed into a pair of tracksuit bottoms with a random top.

Someone knocked on my door and I told the to 'come in' making my way to my bed. Getting comfortable and Jordan walked in.

"Whats up?" I asked. He looked conflicted.

"I need your help." He came over sitting on my bed beside me.

I nodded for him to continue.

"Well remember I told you I wanted to ask someone to the dance?"

I nodded.

"Well I want to ask her to the dance but I don't how to. I don't even know how to ask Harlow." He ran his hands down his face.

"Ask me what?" Harlow stood in the doorway. I didn't even hear her come in.

Jordan kept his mouth closed and looked at her.

"Well are you going to tell me or keep staring at me like I have ten heads?" She rolled her eyes making her way over to us. Sitting at the end of the bed.

"I-I" Jordan began suttering.

"Jordan just spit it out." She snapped.

"I like Isabelle!" He blurted covering his hands with his mouth.

Harlows grew a mischievous smile.

"Oooo she's going to be so happy. Your asking her to the dance right?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Wait your not angry or annoyed that I like your best friend?" Jordan looked confused so did I.

"No but if you hurt her. I will kill you" She put on a innocent smile making us both shiver.

"She likes you too. She doesn't shut up" Harlow rolled her eyes.

"But how do I ask her?" Jordan asked groaning.

"Just write something nice on a poster and do it at lunch." She shrugged getting up off the bed and walking towards the door. But before leaving turning back around.

"Congrats Rome." She smiled and headed back to her room.

Jordan gave me a shocked expression and I just shrugged.

Third Person

Not everyone was as happy as Roman though.

Mile's thought to himself. 'Why didn't I just tell her my feelings? Why didn't I try get to know her? But it was too late before I could because I realised what I was missing. When she was gone.'

Another boy sat in his room contemplating his own feelings. He was too confused for his own good. This was new to him. He thought he always had an attraction to women but clearly one man or boy had to walk through them doors and confuse him.
