“You really are absolutely beautiful, love.” He says. “You always say that.” I give a light smile. “Only because it’s the truth, you deserve to know your worth. Would you like me to stop?” He asks.
“N-no, not at all! I guess it just reassures me that you do love me.” I nervously admit. “Love, of course I love you. How can I not?” He asks as he looks into my eyes.
“I don’t know... When I first began noticing my feelings for you, I... Never thought you would ever return those feelings.” I begin blushing.
“Again, how can I not?” He leans even closer. “In my mind, it was because, well... You’re you. And I’m just... Me.” I add quietly. “You make it sound as if our situation is the other way around, love. Where I would be of nobility and you aren’t. How about I ask you this, how is it that you love me?” I look over at him, shocked.
“I would be crazy if I didn’t love you! You’re... Insanely attractive! You have this weird sense of humor that I absolutely love! You are far from normal, which makes me love you even more. Basically everything that others don’t like of you, I love! I love the way you’ve been treating me so far. I love that you’re always trying to keep a smile on my face. I love how protective you are of me, though I will say sometimes it gets to be a little too much... I can go on and on. I just love everything about you!”
As I finished explaining, he brings his hand behind my head and leans in to give me a kiss. Somehow, it seemed to be even more passionate than before, and even more loving. I suddenly felt this shock of electricity burn through me, taking my breath away.
I struggled to catch my breath, and he pulls away just slightly. “Everything okay, love?” He asks as he leans his forehead onto mine. “Y-yes, everything is j-just fine!” I quickly say. “It’s unusual for you to lose your breath so easily, my love.” He teases. I blush even more, making him laugh. “What is it, my love?”
“I-It’s... Y-you... I-”
“Love, are you sure you’re alright?” He asks a little concerned. “Promise me you won’t laugh at me?”
“I would never laugh at you, my dear.” He answers. “I-It’s just that... This kiss was different, in a good way though! And well... What happened was I felt a shock of electricity, is all.” I answered quietly. He then hums into a smile.
“You know what that means, don’t you?” He asks lovingly. “What’s that?” I ask. “It means we are meant for each other.” He answers as he gives me another kiss.
