Chapter 3: Sleep well

I unplugged the hair dryer and put it away and brushed through my hair, since I had nothing else to do, I checked the time and noticed that it was 11:07am which meant it would be best for me to leave around that time, I applied some blush quickly, nothing else, just simple blush and put on my shoes and headed out with my bag and phone in hand. As I got a bit futher I heard a ping from my phone, I noticed it was a notification from instagram, I checked and noticed that I had been added to a group chat, I checked it and noticed it had lots of people which kind of spiked some anxiety in me, but luckily, it was only people I knew.

I noticed I was added by Corpse so I texted the chat, 'Eyo, me leading a double-life, being a disappointment.' and then a video of me walking to work. 'Wait, youre leading a double-life too :0 I'M NOT ALONE :') ' he texted back as I told him, 'Yeshhh, double-life buddies :') And lmao only Sean and my parents know. Wbu?' and he texted back as I smiled to myself, 'Nobody from my family knows. Youtube and you guys are one life, the other life is family :' ' I then chuckled slightly as I told him, 'Well, Ima become your family so I become part of both >:)' and he replied back, 'Please do, and don't forget to move in with me, it's lonely here ;('

I awe'd slightly at that as I told him, 'I will and I'll make you muffins everyday and we can make video's together :)' I giggled slightly as then someone else's icon popped up as texting and a message from Jack came, 'Jeez, might as well plan your wedding y'know.' As Sykkuno then texted, 'I'll be the best man!' as I texted the group chat, 'This sounds like a cliche romance fanfiction :/' and Sykkuno then texted back, 'Does that mean you reject Corpse's hand in marriage?' I giggled as I texted back, 'Obviously not, you can't have him Sykkuno, he's mine >:('

Jack added some spice, ':0' as Sykkuno replied, 'Noooo, Corpse belongs with me.' So I then texted, 'Ahahahahaha, no <3 He lives near me so we can get married :3' which caused Corpse to reply, 'I-' I texted the chat for like 40 minutes, whilst making sure that I watch where I walk, and some people joined and some left but it was mostly me and Corpse there since he like lived near me. I then told him, 'Corpse, shouldn't you get some rest?' I asked as everyone left by then and we were texting in private chat, 'Nah. I wouldn't be able to fall asleep.' I tried to think of something so I told him, 'Well do you have anything that helps? Like I have a massive teddy that helps me when I want to sleep.'

I waited a minute before he replied, 'I have an elmo stuffy from my childhood :/ Atleast I'm not the only grown person with stuffies.' I laughed lightly as I then asked him, 'What if we went on call whilst I'm at work, since I'm almost at work and it's early, there won't be any customer for a while, we could call.' I waited for a few seconds as I got a reply soon, 'If you're okay with it.' I left him on seen as I plugged my headphones in and called him with my camera off. He quickly answered, ''Sorry if I'm bothering you.'' His raspy voice sounded through the headphones.

''Hey, it's fine, its actually fun to talk with you.'' I told him with a small smile as I walked inside the small cafe and my boss told me, noticing that I was talking on the phone, he quietly told me, ''Ray has the first shift.'' to which I nodded as I went to the back. ''Really?'' He asked, as he yawned half-way, ''Yup, even we met like 8 hours ago and we spent like 7 hours of them talking, soo..'' He chuckled lightly as I told him, ''Do you think a small bed time story would help?'' He didn't say anything for a few seconds before he said, ''Maybe, I haven't been told a bed time story in years, I'm the one usually reading stories.'' He chuckled slightly.

A long time ago, a little boy, who never really liked to socialize and didn't like people because they were always mean without a reason. He only even felt real comfort in Disney and DreamWorks movies , his favourite movie was Shrek, it helped him escape reality and caused him to laugh whenever he was in the mood. A lot of the time of his childhood, he watched movies since his parents werent there a lot of the time and he had nothing to do, he actually liked to escape reality. But when he had to come back, it was hard to face reality, he was mostly alone, but he had to get used to it.

When he was older, he began to have dreams, dreams he didnt want to share with his family, he knew they would find it ridiculous, he wanted to become something great, to help people smile. He thought it was nonsense and that he shouldn't be tricked by his childish thoughts, reality was tough, but he had to deal with it since it would never happen. However, on his journey to be an adult, he encountered many, many obstacles, his health was not too good and he didn't believe he could reach a happy ending.

The older he got, the more he understood, he could actually pursue his dreams, nobody had to know though, he packed his bags and left his house, to another city he moved and started his next life. He pursued his dream, gaining poplarity and love from the people who loved him, though they didn't know him, they supported him and enjoyed what he did. Then there was a spark where he reached his peak and his popularity spiked. He made new friends along the way as he led the double life he was used to living all those years.

Then came along a girl, who was in awe at him, though she had not seen his face, she felt something about him, there was something special. Was it his talent? His voice? Or perhaps his personality? She didnt know, but when she met him and talked to him for hours on end, she somehow felt connected. Little did the girl and boy know, they had a special bond, one that they weren't aware of yet. They would both play an important part in eachothers life. The story is to be continued as their life goes on...
