Chapter 10:The date

Y/N's parents had called in the afternoon when they were still at work . They said they would have to spend the night at their offices since they had still a lot of work to do and there was an important deadline the day after. So Y/N guessed she would be sleeping alone tonight.

Kuroo was out her door handsome as ever and ringed the doorbell. Y/N rushed to the door and opened it.

"Heyy baby. You're beautiful as ever I see".
Kuroo complimented her.

" You're not too bad yourself "Y/N said sarcasticly but Kuroo took a little harder and frowned a little. Y/N gave him a reassuring smile took his hand interwining their fingers together and walked to his car.

For a big part of the ride Y/N was looking out her window, really lost in her thoughts again.Last evening's thoughts came to her mind and she blushed. She tried to hide it from Kuroo but he could tell that something was up with her. She was pretty tense the whole way. Maybe she is nervous because she doesn't really know where I'm taking her he thought. Or because this is our first date.

Finally Y/N could feel the car pulling over and exited her state of thought.Kuroo got out of the car first and before she could open her door he rushed over to her side to open it for her.

"Oo such a gentleman today are we?"

"What are you talking about I am always a gentleman".

"Yeah sure you are. Where are we?"

"What do you think?"

"I think we are in the middle of nowhere and we are gonna get kidnapped up here".

"Shut up this place is special to me. And...you are special too...so I thought we'd have our first date here."

Kuroo was saying all that with such honesty and love in his voice and Y/N could tell he meant it.

"It's...beautiful. And I'm glad I am here with you".Y/N gave him a warm reassuring smile.

The place was genuinely really beautiful although far far away from any house. It was   a small lake with a nice stone bridge above it  that was leading to a small abandoned Buddhist temple. This was a park that people used to come to pray and relax but as bigger more modern temples and parks started to be built it was soon neglected by people who found themselves living closer to the former.

They walked over the bridge, payed their respects to the gods and sat on a small stone bench. Kuroo had actually bought them some drinks and they stayed there discussing and looking at the beautiful scenery. It was too bad the sakura trees weren't blossomed.

"You know why this place is special to me?"

"Why?"

"My father used to bring me here when I was sad. We would also sit on this bench and talk for hours till I felt better..."

"Oh I see...that was so sweet of him".

" Yeah he was great..."

Kuroo had mentioned before his father's death. So Y/N knew what he was talking about. But at this moment she knew that the atmosphere and the whole scenery was getting to him pretty bad.

"Oookay. It's quite chilly here I didn't think of getting a jacket with me and also it's getting pretty late. I think if we stay here any longer someone is gonna stab us."

"No one comes here and besides I'd protect you even if someone did come". Kuroo raised his eyebrows." But I get what you mean so okay let's go".

"Okay mlady here is your stop"

"Thank you kind sir. Tonight was beautiful and thank you for everything".

"No I thank you princess...Goodnight baby".

" Goodnight "
Y/N stopped in her tracks before she could take another step towards her door and before Kuroo could start the car.

"Umm Tetsurō..."

"Yeah?"

"Would you...maybe...like to come in the house with me for a while?"

'What the fuck am I doing you already said your goodnights!'

"I uh...sure.What about your parents?"

"They had to stay at work so yeah..."

"Um okay then why not".

'Why did I suggest that, our date was over'
'Stupid, stupid, stupid'

The night was taking quite a turn.
