"With Seren?" You jump. It has been so long since you've talked with her. "Have you heard from them? Are they doing all right?"

Drakon hesitates for a little while. "Correspondence is hard since they move about undetected. Serendine is garnering a lot of support from people whom the new government is hard on though. They have saved many from my brother's purges...although the country is not a safe place to be right now with all the unrest. Last I heard, Saher was afraid that Barbarossa was closing in on them."

"Oh." You put a supportive hand on his shoulder. "I wish there was something we could do to help them." At least when Sinbad walked away from Barbarossa's deal, that left Parthevia without extra funds to buy surplus supplies from Balbadd. Your kingdom wasn't exactly allied with those Seren was fighting against. "Do you think it would be okay if I wrote a letter to Seren to be sent with yours?"

Reverently, Drakon nods and grabs a blank sheet for you.

During some quiet time in your room, you are interrupted from reading with news of a visitor and led to see them. The room you are to meet seems empty, but soon after entering a pair of hands covers your eyes.

"I'm back!" is whispered in a singsong voice, making your heart skip a beat.

"Sin!"

You jump out of his hold and turn to hug him. He holds you romantically and strokes your cheek, leaning in for a kiss.

"How did it go?" you ask after the greeting.

"We found the perfect cluster of islands. Master has already approved so we can get started building right away! But that's not all we found..."

He lifts a new silver necklace that he wears. You run your fingers over the cool metal, tracing the eight pointed star on the ornament that hangs from it. A new djinn! In their search they came across another dungeon!

He continues, "I'll be writing a new installment for my adventure stories!"

How you long to go on an adventure like that. It would be so eye-opening, not to mention exciting. Soon, you hope. But for now, you guide him to sit with you as you give each other updates on the progress for creating Sindria.

Sinbad's latest conquest of obtaining Furfur brought in plentiful treasure to pay for the building cost Sindria needed. After everything was catalogued, you are at the company crunching numbers with the chief accountant to see how far these assets would take you in your endeavors.

Vittel scratches his head while analyzing, "We'll have to purchase and ship in many resources for the houses. For even just the core members of the Sindria Trading Company it's going to take a lot. We could offset the cost by selling the homes as they're built, but the amount needed per employee would be more than an average person could bear. Not to mention for other refugees that would want to move there too."

Sinbad taps the table in thought. He states, "We'll cover that for them then. I want Sindria to welcome anyone seeking refuge."

Vittel chokes, "But the cost of all that would be astronomical! 10 million dinars for that island in Parthevia is sounding like a great deal now. The price was worth it to have the already existing buildings. Is it too late to consider taking up that offer again?"

You instantly rebuttal as the conversation continues between you and Vittel. But back when he mentioned Parthevia, Sinbad's eyes grew distant. While instructing Vittel to calculate how much more money would be needed for the proposed upfront cost, Sinbad gets up and walks out, your eyes following him. With Vittel busy on an estimate, you also stand and go after Sinbad.
