Tutorial Mode

In a flash, Phil rushed infront of the galaxy-haired girl and lean male teen with a nervous face.

"Sorry, ma'am. You see, these two are still learning the ropes of the business.
You know, where things are, what they cost and how we never tell customers about our super-secret task force of monster hunters." He snaps, getting into Five's and Miko's faces.

"I'm so confused." The elderly woman concluded.

"Good. Please accept this coupon and a memory wipe of everything
my employees just told you." Phil flashed her with his manager pin and she gasped after she was memory wiped.

The old woman eyes shifted towards her palms. "Oh! A coupon! And I was just going to ask if you sold-"

"Rechargeable batteries. Aisle three."

The woman sighs with relief and walks off, allowing Phil to turn around to three of his new recruits. "Ok, yeah, you two have worked this counter long enough." He said, bridging his nose with two fingers.

"Dude, first day, and we're already getting promoted!" Miko said cheerfully.

"Yes!"

"So, where's the other one?" Phil asked.

Jodi hopped over the counter. "She's right there."

Aina was on the other side of the counter, nervously fidgeting with her phone as she listened to rock music.

"Aina!"

The young girl stood from behind the counter, and fidgeted with her hands. "What's up?"

"If you're going to be Glitch Techs, you need to take the tutorial." Phil explained.

"Yes!"

"Nooooooo!"

"Sure, man."

The three teens and adult watched in confusion as Miko slid down to the floor while stretching out the word "no" in agony.

Phil twisted the correct combo on a locker and waited for the glowing blue portal to open.

"Ugh! Tutorials are the most boring part of any game!" Miko groaned.

"What about chaining to whip stitch in Crochet Fighter?" Five asked, emphasizing the motion of chaining to whip stitch.  "Or climb onion volcanoes in Teppanyaki 4?"

"Not that I don't love a good debate, which that wasn't," The four teens stood near Phil, Five and Jodi with grins while Miko and Aina gave unamused expressions. "But there's no opt out of this, you have plenty to learn besides how to blast glitches."

The tallest jovially tried to jump into the portal, as their shorter girls slumped behind them. Unfortunately, Five ended up with his stuck, Miko with her foot, Aina and some of her hair, along with Jodi and her arms. Phil, however, bridged his nose once more.

"Like not entering a portal gate until it warms up." He finished, banging the lockers with a closed fist.

The portal blew up to inevitably pull in the teens.

After getting sucked through the portal gate Miko, Aina, Jodi, and Five rushed to the railing, still in awe of how incredible their command center was. "Sup glitch techs we're here! What? What?" Miko booms with infectious energy as the other Techs were chilling in the lobby.

Phil walked behind the quartet with a small smile. It was nice moment until BITT appeared out of nowhere.

"Alert! Alert! There is one new message in your personal mailbox." BITT's robotic voice bounds up to the techs and Phil.
