Chapter 11

'I'm going to bite you in the ass.'

"Damn, when did you become so feisty?"

'I picked it up from Jaxon.'

"Of course." Zach shakes his head.

Wincing slightly, I change back into my human form.

"Nice rack." Zach smirks.

"What are you-

I look down to see that I was completely naked...In front of Zach.

"Oh my god! Turn around." I immediately try to cover myself.

Zach looks at me with a bored expression.

"Please, I've seen plenty of woman naked before."

"But don't you have a mate?" He shakes his head.

"No...I don't." Quickly his expression turns into a frown.

"I'm sorry Zach I didn't mean to-

"Don't be, it's okay."

By the look on his face I could tell that he was upset. I mean not having a mate isn't naturally a good thing unless you don't want one but Zach deserves someone special in his life.

"How about this," I start, "I'll put on some clothes and you and me go take a walk and we'll talk about it." Zach gives me a bright smile.

"I would love that." I nod and walk behind a tree where my bag of clothes were hidden and slip them on. When I was done I jog up next to Zach who looked in deep thought.

"What is it?"

He looks around my body and into the woods. All of a sudden his eyes turn dark.

"Aurora," He growls, "Get behind me and don't move unless I say so."

"Why? What's happening?"

"Just do what I say!" Not wasting a second I cower behind his tall figure.

"Leave our territory! You know the rules, unless you want to face the Alpha." Zach calls out into the clearing.

I try to look for whoever he was talking to but I saw nothing.

Before I had to chance to process anything a wolf appears from the woods and charges at Zach.

"Aurora run! Go find Jaxon." He screams.

"No! I'm not leaving you!"

"I said go!"

Whimpering I turn around and make a run towards the pack house. I turn my head to look at the danger unfolding but I wish I didn't.

Zach was now in his wolf form, snarling and growling at the other wolf who looked viscous. Out of nowhere they tackle each other and start to fight. When I almost was near the front door I was taken to the ground by a strong force.

"No! Get o-off me!" I scream.

A thunderous growl rings through my ears as I open my eyes to see a rogue wolf on top of me, staring me down.

'Shift!' Mileena tells me.

But I couldn't.

The weight on my body was too strong and I couldn't focus on anything but the fear running through me.

I let out a ear-piercing scream when the beast bit into my shoulder. I could feel the blood soak through my shirt. Tears streamed down my face when the wolf's eyes turned to my neck. In a instant I knew what was going to come, death. I close my eyes waiting for the bite but...It never came. Instead all the weight that was on top of me vanished. I could barely keep my eyes open when I was picked up.

"Aurora you have to stay with me, fuck I'm so sorry." A familiar voice whispers in my ear.

Jaxon.

"Fuck! I need help!" He panics.

I try to speak but nothing escaped my lips as I was losing to much blood.

"No, no, you have to keep your eyes open." Jaxon begs.

I shake my head, unable to obey.

"AURORA!"

Was the last thing I heard before my eyes rolled to the back of my head.

Don't hate me guys but we needed some drama.
