Kei whimpers under Katsuki's tightening hug. "I should be the one asking you that! What did you do to Izu?"

"I asked first, you damned woman," the male counters, not increasing his tone. He clicks his tongue after briefly pausing, "Whatever." He later dips his nose to the crook of Kei's neck, inhaling her scent deeply. "You smell different."

Kei hums, "Probably because I just got off from training." She wiggles herself to no avail, "Now get away before I burn your nostrils."

Katsuki groans, maintaining his firm grip, "Not that, dumbass. You're vanilla spiced with something else."

"That's probably my guardian's body wash or something," Kei retorts. She jumped in Aizawa's bathroom this morning, after all.

Katsuki remains silent but Kei could feel the building tension within the other teen as she feels the changed pattern of his exhales and the firmer pull of her body towards the male. They stayed still for a moment until Katsuki breaks the silence. "When are you coming back?"

"You sound like a lost puppy. Miss your owner already?" Kei chuckles at his question, earning a low growl from the male. Kei's eyes soften a bit, "Soon."

"Fine," Katsuki exhales, followed by a whisper, "You better come back to me soon." Muffled noises can be heard from behind the glass doors. Katsuki groans in annoyance, letting go of the female and subsequently sitting up. "You better get going now before those shitheads stall you here longer."

Kei gets her things and smirks, winking at the male. "If you miss me that much, my dream world will always be open for you, Full Moon ~"

Katsuki's face immediately turns cherry red at the mention of the phrase, sparking his already distant memory. "Get lost already!"

"Hey guardian. I'm home ~" Kei coos as she steps in the flat. She sets her things on the sofa shortly after to greet her guardian who was just about to walk to the doorway. "Oh, where are you going?"

"To the brats," he replies. "I'll be back."

Kei nods as she watches her guardian disappear from her sight. She then heads to the kitchen to see a fresh set of groceries by the counter. She smiles subtly, noticing her guardian's consideration of her stay. She then fixes the goods to its proper places and prepares for dinner. Getting absorbed in her work, she almost jumps when she hears the door clicking.

"You can relax. It's safe here," Aizawa murmurs as he changes his shoes into comfortable slippers. "How's your day?" he casually asks as he strolls towards the kitchen, seeking tasks to help with.

"We started rescue drills with Thirteen and will resume tomorrow onwards. It was more tiring than I thought," she sighs. "How was yours? You seem more lively than usual."

Aizawa hums as he sets the utensils on the table. "I was dealing with work studies and a few other things." He pauses briefly, contemplating something, before speaking, "You'll be doing internship with Tokoyami at Kyushu. You'll have to prepare for that."

"Oh?" Kei excitedly whips her head towards Aizawa's direction. "Hawks adopting another bird?" She later pouts playfully, "And here I thought I was his only baby bird."

Aizawa twitches at her last phrase but later regains his composure. "You'll be paged as soon as the paperwork is submitted. I'll give you the file later. Fill it in tonight"

"Alright ~ Also, dinner is ready ~" Kei sings.

The duo eats afterwards, with Kei mostly engaging the conversation and seeking useful rescue tips from the pro. She also asks about Hitoshi's progress on their training. After they eat and clean, Aizawa sets his work on the dining table.
