Second Chance First Line

"Before you leave for work, I have to... visit someone."

"Is this someone the new someone." Cassie asks.

"Yes, it's the new someone."

"Don't kill him."

"Who's daddy gonna kill?" Jason's asks.

"No one Jay." Cassie responds, giving Derek a look.

...

Derek gets into Scott's bedroom through the window. He lurks behind Scott as the Beta skypes his friend Stiles. Suddenly, Stiles types 'it looks like' than the screen freezes.

"Come on." Scott says, clicking the screen.

It than unfreezes and adds 'someone's behind you'. Scott enlarges the screen and sees the image behind him. He turns around to see Derek. Derek grabs him and pins him against the wall.

"I saw you on the field." Derek says.

"What are you talking about!" Scott asks.

"You shifted in front of them. If they find out about you, they find out about me, about all of us! Than it's not just the hunters after us, it's everyone."

"They didn't see anything I sw-swear."

"And they won't. Cause if you even think about playing in that game on Saturday, I'm gonna kill you myself."

And than Derek's gone.

The following day, Cassidy's shift at the hospital started at noon and ends at nine. She's currently working in the ER, stitching up a a young boy.

"So, how'd you do this?" Cassie asks the blonde hair kid as she wraps the stitches with gauze.

"I fell off my bike."

"That stinks."

"Ya, but I didn't cry. And Batman doesn't cry so I'm kind of like Batman."

Cassie laughs and looks at the kids mother.

"Sorry. Zach really likes superheroes." She explains.

"It's fine- wait. Batman. Zach, are you friends with a Jason?"

"Ya! He's this new kid in my class. We're best friends. Except, he likes Superman more. But that's okay. Do you know Jaosn?"

"Actually, I'm Jason's mother."

"Really!?"

"Ya."

"Awesome!"

"And, it looks like we're done here."

Cassie turns to Zach's mother and hands her some papers.

"You just need to sign these for me."

"Thank you. And I'm Jessica by the way."

"Cassidy. Though, I already told you."

"Zach has been talking non stop about Jason. You know what, why don't they have a play date some time."

"Ya, okay."

"Here's my number." Jessica says, handing her a business card.

"Thanks. And Zach, I hope you heal fast."

"Don't worry, I'm Batman."

Derek's in the Hale House when he hears Scott coming up.

"Derek!" Scott yells. "Derek!"

Scott looks around and sees a mound of dirt to the left of the house. He than looks back to see Derek on the porch walking towards him.
