Chapter 44

The door opened to see a fustrated Lucas. "Harlow Ambrovinich you get up off your lazy ass and clean your room because I won't be cleaning this pig stie." He crossdd his arms over his chest.

I sprang up off the bed when he used my full name. "Okay I'll do it now." I rolled my eyes.

He lefted happily that he had gotten through to me and left me to this mess.

I looked around the room where was I going to start. Maybe I could put away my clothes first.

I walked around the room picking up all my dirty clothes and putting them in my wash basket in the bathroom. I then put away the piles of clean clothes back into my wardrobe.

I head over to my bed to make it. Then I turned to my side table and looked at the amount of cups I had. I would leave that to last since I would have to go downstairs. I look down at my feet to see my blanket. As I bend down to reach for it something pokes out from under my bed.

I get down so that now I'm sitting and notice my suitcase the one we used when we first came here. Pulling it out it was all dusty frkm being under my bed.

I don't think there was anything in it since I'm pretty sure I unpacked everything. But what I wasn't expecting when I opened it was to see my teddy bear.

My teddy bear that I've always had since a baby. It was a small bear with dark brown fur and it had a blue top on him. With two big black button eyes. I just always had him. I could never remember who gave it to me.

I guess I left him in my suitcase incase any of my brothers saw that I still slept with a teddy bear or that I still had one. Then just forgotten about him. I hugged the bear close to my chest feeling bad for neglecting it.

"I see you still have that." I jumped in surprise. When I looked up to see Angelo in the doorway.

"You could of just knocked. And also I've always just had it. " My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. Watching as  Angelo came closer to me sitting on the edge of my bed as I sat on the ground.

"You know whats funny is that I gave you and Jordan the same bear. It was the day we went to see you both in hospital just after you two had been born. The doctors had told Mom and Dad that you were a set of boys. The doctors had mistaken your embilcocorde as a you know what. So when we found out that you were a girl Mom and Dad were so happy. And thats why he wears a blue t-shirt because I thought you were going to be a boy." He smiled at the memory. Looking down at me.

"You know Linda went mad when she found out you weren't a boy because she had nothing prepared not even a name."

"Then where did they get the name Harlow?" I mean I don't know if anyone else thought this but I always found my name weird. Like some dog name or something.

"They named you after one of Moms best friends Harold. He sadly died before he could meet you guys. He was like an uncle and a brother to Mom. He sadly passed away in his sleep." Angelo explained

I made an 'O' shape with your mouth.

"I'm just still suprised you have it. I thought it went with your other stuff. Jordan still has his. Its under his pillow he just won't admit he still sleeps with it." Angelo chuckled.

This was getting to mushy for me. "So what are you doing in here?" I asked pushing the suitcase back under my bed and putting the teddy on my bed.

"Dinner. I decide to come get you on my way down. Come on before Lucas eats the head off of us." He stood up walking to the door and I followed bring the many of glasses with me.
