They looked at me. "I do not know."

"Well, why did Talia target Gotham?" Superman asked.

"Because of me, the world leaders were gathering on my ship, she wanted to-" I cut myself off for a moment, slight panic in my throat.

"What?"

"The last Heretic targeted Damian because he wanted Damian's memories." I finished.

"Maybe you should warn Damian to watch his back? Have someone stay with him and keep an eye out?" Aquaman proposed.

Um. Ew. Batman does not want to marry you.

I nodded. "I will then."

A moment of silence passed, all the League members stared at me.

"Well?" Flash asked.

"Let us finish this meeting first." I responded.

"We were done. We've been done. You must have really been out of it to not notice us switch topics from boring statistics to Young Justice stuff." Black Canary said.

"Wel-" I was cut off.

"Can we come with you?!" Flash asked.

"No."

"Why not Bats? I miss your kids. Nightwing never comes over to see me and Wally anymore."

"You don't live with Wally."

"Please?? I'll do anything."

"Anything?"

"Anything. I promise."

"Good. You can watch Damian then."

Flash coughed and widened his eyes at Batman, while he was choking. His face turned red.

"W- what?" He asked.

"Aw. I think it's a good idea. You should go Barry, Damian needs all the help he can get." Green Arrow said, teasing him.

"You want to go too Oliver?"

"NO!" He said a little too quickly and a little too loudly.

"Good. Let's go Barry. Damian has been wanting a new punching bag."

Barry groaned and the rest of the League laughed.

It wasn't that big of a deal. But Batman and the Justice League, had no idea what they were getting into.

Carmen POV

I screamed in terror as Talia said the order.

Ten assassins came running at me and pinned me to the ground. Something poked into the back of my neck and I fought for consciousness.

Talia kneeled down in front of me. "You will be much improved after this. Do not worry."

"Shut uuuuuup. You psycho murdererrrrr." I slurred, trying to glare at her.

"That's cute. Take her away." Talia ordered the men hold me down.

I was limp in their arms. I glared at all six Talias and said my final words.

"Whaaaaaaaat kiiiiinnnnd of moooooothhhherrrrr killllllssss herrrrr chillllllllld?" She growled and lunged at me, but before any of her reached me, everything went black.

———TIME SKIP DUDE SAYS WHATS UP———————

Uggghhh. My head is killing me. And my wrists. Ugh. They must have shackled me to the wall again. Wait. Aren't we in a warehouse in Gotham right now. There aren't any walls with shackles in them.

I opened my eyes and blinked rapidly as they were blinded by light. What is up? It's not light in Gotham.

My eyes adjusted and I realized there was a giant lamp hanging over me. I was on something soft. I sat up and rubbed my aching wrists.

WHAT IN THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS!!

I shot upward and screamed as I saw the horrible metal monstrosities in place of my hands. Metal hands. Metal! I HAVE HANDS MADE OF METAL!!

I panicked. I hyperventilated. I cried a tiny bit and I pushed those things as far away from me as I could get them.

"Carmen. Hello." I looked and saw Talia. Smiling coldly at me.

Usually I would kneel. No matter how mad or scared I was, but this was too much.

I ran at her, pouncing and tackling her to the floor. She yelped in surprise. I wrapped my things around her neck and shook. Slamming her head repeatedly the ground. She stuck her thump into my eye and I screamed, jerking backwards. Someone grabbed me from behind. Multiple somebodies, and pulled me off Talia.

She gasped and lightly touched her neck, which was red and in someplaces, bleeding. She stood up and slapped me. I bowed my head.

She growled. "You have a mission to complete. Get ready."

I nodded and the assassins released me. There was no point in escaping now. I officially am part of the League. Nothing and nobody can help me now.

So I prepared to murder Damian Wayne.
