~Chapter 25~

"Let's just ask her!" Katelyn says "Aphmau! How was your date with Kai?"

"Katelyn!" Teony raises her voice

"Oh that? It was terrible" Aphmau replies

We all give Aphmau confused looks

"Then...how was your weekend awesome?" Teony asks

"Hm? Well..because even though the date was terrible...I realized that..there's more to me that I need to take time to learn to love and appreciate" Aphmau explains and turns to leave

"What's that?" Teony asks

Aphmau turns around with a huge smile on her face and says-

"That I'm a beautiful potato"

Aphmau giggles and leaves

"Huh?" Teony questions

"THAT'S MY GIRL!" I yell after her

"She looked really happy" Katelyn says "I'm confused!"

"Seriously?" I roll my eyes

"What?" Katelyn asks

"It's obvious! Aphmau knows about her self worth!" I smile

"Oh...right..." Teony says

"Now if you excuse me, I gotta use the fire hydrant" I say as I hop off the sink

"Fire hydrant?" Both girls say in unison

"It's a cutesie term that werewolves use, ok?" I blush and walk to the stall

"What's that?" Teony touches something on the back of my neck

"OW!" I call out

"Are you ok?" Katelyn asks

"I'm ok!" I say in a high pitch squeaky voice "Please don't touch that..it's a long story"

I quickly run into the stall before they could ask any more questions

When I came back out they had already left

"Atleast I don't need to explain the fight with Ivy.." I sigh and wash my hands

When I leave the bathroom I look down the hall and see Aphmau walking away from Laurence and Garroth

"Crap..." I say to myself

Garroth turns to face me, says something to Laurence, and starts coming toward me

I start running the opposite way, when I started running I could hear Garroth speeding up

Werewolves can run faster than humans, but I guess I got distracted because...

"(Y/N)!" Garroth says as he grabs my arm to stop me

"But the- How did you catch me if I'm a-" Garroth interrupts me

"A werewolf?"

"Ye..." I bite my lip

"Why are you running?" Garroth asks

"Because...I ruined your date..and now I'm a werewolf..." I could feel tears forming

Garroth pulls me into him and cups my face with his hands, wiping my tears with his thumb

"You idiot.." Garroth says

I scan his face, I notice a deep cut on his cheek

"You think I care that you ruined my date with Ivy? Or that you're a werewolf now? You're the same (Y/N) I know" Garroth smiles at me
