☆D'Arby{+Puffer Fish}

Start from the beginning

"Fine. D'Arby, get your trump card ready. We'll finish this with poker."
"How fun. Poker is one of the games I'm best at!"
"Poker? This man just beat Mr. Joestar! I- it's too dangerous!" Avdol said.
"I know. He's not violent, but he's still more dangerous than any other Stand user we've met so far. But... I can't afford not to do this," Jotaro was serious.
"Jotaro?! The hell? You're telling me to not do a bet but you are? This is totally unfair."
"(Y/n), you are literally trying to kill him. Don't get me wrong," Jotaro ruffled your hair as he sat down.
"Hey, I said I won't do that much damage to him," you hissed.
"Before we get started, there's something I want to try," Jotaro turned to face D'Arby.
"Shuffle those cards," Jotaro pointed the deck of cards in front of D'Arby. D'Arby took the deck and shuffled it quickly.
"They're shuffled. What now?" he said as he placed the cards back on the table.
"It doesn't matter which one, but pick a card from anywhere near the deck's top and flip it. Only show yourself the card," Jotaro demanded.
"Okay, I've looked," D'Arby said after checking a card in the middle.
"I'll tell you which card it is: the six of hearts. I'll name the cards kn order from the top. Five of spades, queen of diamonds, jack of spades, ace of hearts, seven of diamonds, six of clubs, king of clubs, two of diamonds."
D'Arby carefully spread the cards, it was the same as Jotaro said.
"How did you..?" Avdol sweat dropped.
"I can name all of the cards, in order, from top to bottom. My Star Platinum was able to see the order of cards as they were being shuffled."
"That's very interesting. But that just means I have to make sure you don't see me shuffling the cards."
"Don't you get it? This means you won't be able to cheat. I just wanted to let you know that."
"Good."

D'Arby took out an unbroken security seal, which meant it was new and no one has touched it. He handed it over to Jotaro. Jotaro opened it and spread the cards on the table.
"There's one joker. I don't see anything unusual. They're ordinary playing cards."
Jotaro collected the cards again and made it into a deck. He placed the deck on the table.
"Okay! Open the game!"
D'Arby reached for the cards. He got the middle one and showed it.
"Ten of hearts."
Jotaro did the same.
"Seven of clubs."
"Looks like I'm the dealer," D'Arby said. He reached for the deck and started shuffling it.
"Cut, if you please," D'Arby placed the shuffled cards on the table. Jotaro did a cut then placed the lower ones on the top.
"And now, I shall deal. To Jotaro, to me, to Jotaro, to me..."
Jotaro suddenly summoned Star platinum and broke D'Arby's finger.
"Jotaro, his finger! Star Platinum just broke D'Arby's finger out of the blue!" Avdol shouted.
"I told you. I won't let you get away with cheating."
"What? Cheating? When? He was just dealing the cards... he didn't make any suspicious moves."
"No. Take a good look at the cards in his left hand."
"The second card is sticking out..."
"That's the card he just tried to give me. He made it look like he was dealing in order from the top, but he was trying to give me the second card from the top. That means..." Jotaro used Star Platinum to take the card on the top.
"The card on top would've gone to him. He would've had three tens with that card. No, I'm being forgiving. I could've just cut off your finger or let that bloodthirsty monster cut your guts up. Good grief. I can't trust you to shuffle the cards. Let's have someone who's not playing deal. Let's ask that boy on top of that hill," Jotaro said as Star placed the card back on the table. You bit your tongue to not say anything about that 'bloodthirsty monster' part.
"Good."
"Avdol, could you bring him here?"
"All right," Avdol walked over to the boy.
"Impressive... to cheat, one must take advantage of psychological blind spots. You need more than sharp eyes to see through cheating. It seems I underestimated you, since you saw through my second dealing. I shall accept what happened to my finger as punishment for that. And now, I shall dedicate all I have to playing this game with you, Jotaro," D'Arby wrapped a handkerchief around his hand and broken finger.
"This is my biggest game since May 17th, 1986. At that time, I won eight properties from Japan named Shozo Mayama, along with his soul. He was a rich man, and a very strong man. You see, I'm not facing you for Lord DIO's sake. I'm facing you because I'm a born gambler," D'Arby said as he threw Mr. Joestar and Polnareff token to the mid air.
"Wh- what are you planning to do with Mr. Joestar and Polnareff's souls?!" Avdol shouted out.
The Stand slashed the token, doubling the token. It slashed the tokens until there were six of them each.
"I have split their souls into six chips each. In poker, if you believe that your cards are no match for your opponent's, you're allowed to fold. But you must ante up to participate in each hand, so two will not be enough. When you're able to collect all six chips, you'll have acquired one complete soul. Understood? Now, then, Jotaro. I'd like to give you some chips to bet, as well, but I haven't heard you say a certain line yet."
"Fine. I'll bet my soul," Jotaro said. He was confident, as usual, but it made you worry this time.
"Good!"
"The chips that are white as snow represent your soul."
"W- wait," you said. D'Arby looked over at you.
"Why the hell is it white isn't it supposed to be bl-," you were cut off by Jotaro pinching you really hard.
"Ow! Okay fine. I'll stay behind," you hissed in pain.
"Anyways, as I was saying. Once I take six of those from you, you will lose your soul," D'Arby finished.
