It's Not Over Yet, A Varian X Reader COMPLETE

Chapter 10: Triple Date Disaster Part 2

     "PUNZEL, GET TRAVIS AND VARIAN OFF THIS THING SO THEY DON'T GET HURT, CASSANDRA AND I WILL HANDLE THIS" I yell down at her.

     She nods and with the other part of her hair she swings it towards the two teen boys and it wraps around both their waists tight enough for them to not slip out. Once Punzel knows that they are secure she yanks her hair back towards her causing the boys to fall off the balloon and towards the ground without hitting it. She gently sets them on the ground and unwraps them from her hair. I muster up all the strength left in my body to pull myself up to the burner and turn it off. The balloon starts slowly lowering towards the ground. There is a big thump and I fall to the ground along with everyone else. By the time we all get up Cassandra has Andrew in an arm lock.

     "You can't run away now you lying piece of shit!" Cassandra firmly yells as she tightens her squeeze a little more.

     With one hand she pulls out handcuffs and cuffs both his hands together behind his back, and she pulls out another pair but places it on Andrew's ankles so he wouldn't run away. She sits him down and walks away to make sure Rapunzel is doing alright and not hurt. I stand up to help Cassandra with Andrew and a pain shoots through my whole body, especially my palm where the big gash is at. A wincing and groaning noise escapes my lips but I ignore the pain and limp towards Andrew to keep an eye on him.

     "Y/N! Are you alright?!" Travis and Varian say in unison as they run to me with worried expressions on their faces.

     "Yeah, I'm alright, just a little hurt but it's nothing bad" I reply still not turning around to face them.

     Both of the boys stand on either side of me and grab onto my arms to support me as I make my way to Andrew, from the corner of my eye I see Varian look at my large cut with a sad expression on his face.

     "Y/N, you are a strong girl, I did not expect you to fight for so long and keep going despite the wounds all over your body" I hear from in front of me which was followed by a chuckle.

     "I am stronger than you think Andrew, I bet I could take you down all by myself without Cassandra, now stay seated or else" I inform trying to sound as intimidating as possible.

     I sit down beside him but facing him so he doesn't pull anything on me.

     "Can I tell you something private?" Andrew asks

     I turn to Travis and Varian and nod them off to make sure everything else is ok. They are hesitant at first but I nod to them and give them a reassuring smile to let them know that I'll be alright, finally they leave Andrew and I pretty much alone. I turn to Andrew to let him know that he can speak.

     "I have noticed that you really like the Varian kid, but you also have feelings for Travis. Word of advice you should choose whoever makes you feel whole and complete." He explains almost in a fatherly manner.

     "And why would I take advice from a criminal?" I ask giving him a glare.

     "Take this as a friend, as someone who wants to help you so you don't get hurt in the future"

     I begin to think, his advice is actually pretty reasonable, I could listen to him and choose which one pretty soon or I might end up hurt or hurting one of them. But then again, he's the bad guy and might try to manipulate me into going on his side. Just as I was about to reply Cassandra butts in.

     "Y/N, don't listen to anything he says he's only going to try to manipulate you so you are on his side" Cassandra picks him up harshly.

     "Yeah, I just wanted to know what he needed to tell me, it's not like I'm going to listen to his shitty advice anyways" I reply giving Andrew a dirty look as Cassandra walks off with him.

     I follow behind only to fall to my knees by the massive pain shooting through my entire body. I groan out in pain which seems to get the attention of Rapunzel and Eugene. They both jog up to me and place both their hands on my arms for support.

     "Y/N, are you ok? You seem pretty hurt" comments Punzel.

     I nod trying to reassure her that I'll be fine but she insists and wraps her long blonde hair securely around my right palm and sings this song that almost seems like a lullaby. As she's singing and her hair is glowing I notice my left wrist glowing green as well, and not only that but I feel her energy and strength transferring to me. I hide my left hand in between my thighs so the green light doesn't show and catches Eugene's attention. Once she's finished and opens her eyes she seems a little more tired then earlier.

     "Phew, I'm tired from this long day. Hey Y/N, you, Varian, and Travis should spend the night at my castle. You three had a long day too and it's a pretty far walk from here to your houses"

     I nod in agreement and signal Travis and Varian to follow. Surprising enough I have all my strength back and I feel a lot stronger. I wonder why I took away some of Punzel's strength. Could we be connected in some way? I'll have to look into that some time. I catch up to Andrew and Cassandra and walk beside them making Andrew in the middle.

     "You alright kid?" Cassandra asks

     I nod not giving her a single glance.

     "You know, you are really strong and brave, you did great helping me out and I'm thankful for that." she smiles at me which surprises me because she never smiles.

     I nod and smile back, maybe Cassandra might not be that bad after all.
