Maya: This has to do with Tiana, doesn't it. (Looks at him)
Hakeem: It's not all about Tiana. Maya I don't think I feel the same way. While I performing and watching, I had enough time to reflect. Enough time to reflect that I can't do this. I can't continue to be married to you knowing that I'm not going to be able to love you fully. (Looks at her) You deserve someone who is going to love you the same way back.
Maya: Hakeem we're just getting to know each other right now. Who said anything about love? Why does that matter right now?
Hakeem: It matters right now because it will matter later. Be honest, could you full accept at some point that I might not never fall in love with you or love the same way back? Be honest.
Maya: At some point I probably wouldn't be able to accept it. But why does that have to do with right now Hakeem?
Hakeem: It matters because I don't want to lead you on. Maya you deserve to know what real love is. And I deserve to keep the real that I got. At some point this wouldn't work out between us. The beef that you have with Tiana would eventually get to you. And we just wouldn't work.
Maya: Okay. I'll sign the papers. Where are they?
Hakeem: (takes the paper out of jacket) They're right here.
Maya took the papers and pen from Hakeem and signed the papers. She sighed once she was done, but she knew Hakeem was right. She would never be able to accept if Hakeem didn't love her the same way. She deserved real actual love.
Maya: I got a question.
Hakeem: What?
Maya: Are you in love with Tiana?
Hakeem licked his lips and leaned back on the couch. Is he in love with Tiana?
Outside Hakeem's Dressing Room.........
Bella was becoming impatient waiting on Hakeem. Tiana was kinda nervous on what Hakeem was talking about with Maya. Was he actually going to stay with her? Inside, Tiana was shaking and her heart was breaking a little bit. She wanted to hold her breath until they came out the dressing room.
Bella: What's taking so long?!
Tiana: I don't know baby girl. (Looking towards Hakeem's dressing room)
Cookie: Hey you two. (Walking towards them) What y'all doing back here?
Bella: Glamma!! (Running and hugging Cookie)
Cookie: Hey Bella Boo. Hey Tiana.
Tiana: (still looking towards Hakeem's dressing room) Hey.
Cookie: What y'all doing back here? The party is out there.
Tiana: Bella was excited to see her daddy but he has company. So I promised that we would wait till he came out. Hopefully it's soon.
Cookie: I was coming back here to get him. There was some press that wanted to talk to him. Who's in there anyway.
Tiana: Maya. (Sighs)
Cookie noticed Tiana's tension.
Cookie: What's wrong?
Tiana: (lying) Nothing.
Cookie: Don't lie to me Tiana. What's wrong?
Tiana: (looks at Cookie) What if he decides to stay with her? Then what do I do?
