Cookie: Why does it matter if he stays with her? I thought you were just focusing on you and these kids?

Tiana: Because it does matter.

Cookie: And why does it matter?

Tiana: I don't want him with her. I know that sound selfish, but I don't want him with her.

Cookie: And.......

Tiana: And I love him. I love Hakeem. I love him Cookie.

Cookie: I know you do. (Smiles) No matter if Hakeem stays with Maya, you'll always be my favorite. And I'm not saying that to make you feel good. Honestly I love you Tiana and we're family rather you and Hakeem are together. Just know the Hakeem that he is today is because of you. Hakeem changed his self for you, Bella, and Prince. So don't ever think it was because of her. And regardless if he stays with her or not, you tell Hakeem how you feel. Don't miss an opportunity to be with who you truly love. You hear me? (Tiana nods)

Before Tiana could say anything else, they heard Maya and Hakeem coming out the dressing room. Tiana and Cookie looked in their direction. Maya and Hakeem hugged. Tiana felt her heart fall in the pit of her stomach. She looked down for a minute and looked back up once the finished hugging. Maya turned to walk away and looked in Tiana's direction. She walked past Tiana and Cookie and back to the crowd of people. Tiana looked at Hakeem as he looked back at her. Their staring contest was broken by an excited Bella running towards Hakeem.

Bella: Dadddddyyy.!!! (Running towards Hakeem)

Hakeem: Babygirl!! (Scooping Bella into his arms) How's my baby girl?

Bella: Good. (Kisses Hakeem's cheek)

Hakeem: Did you like daddy's performance? (Bella nods)

Bella: You played Grandpa Duscious.

Hakeem: I did. How do you think I did?

Bella: You did good. (Giving him thumbs up)

Cookie and Tiana finally walked over and joined them. Tiana heart wanted to start pounding out of chest. But she collected herself to relax.

Hakeem: Hey Ma. T( looks at Tiana)

Tiana: Hey.

Cookie: Hey baby. You did great. Everybody is talking about the song and the movie. I came back here to get you because there is some press that wanted to talk to you.

Hakeem: Yeah I kinda got busy talking to Maya. Can you hold them off for a minute? I need to talk to Tiana.

Tiana gulped when he said that he wanted to talk to her. Now her heart wanted to beat out of chest. What was he going to say to her.

Cookie: Sure baby. Come on Bella.

Bella: (sad) I just got to see you.

Hakeem: I know but you'll see more of me in a few minutes. And you'll see me more later on when I come home with you guys to see Prince. Right now I need to talk to TaTa. So deal? (Holding out his hand)

Bella: (smiles) Deal (shaking Hakeem's hand)

Hakeem: (smiles) That's my girl.

Hakeem put Bella down. She took a hold of Cookie's hand. Hakeem looked up at Tiana and could tell that she was nervous about what he was going to say.

Cookie: Alright. We'll see you two in a minute. Let's go Bella boo. (Leans over to Tiana) Remember what I told you. (Tiana nods)

Cookie and Bella disappeared from backstage and back to the crowd. It was just Hakeem and Tiana left alone. They looked at each other until someone broke the silence.

Tiana: (sighs) So.........

Hakeem: (licks lips) Let's go in here talk.

Hakeem let Tiana enter the dressing room first before following in behind her. Once they were inside, Hakeem closed the door.

Inside Hakeem's Dressing Room.............

Tiana walked in taking a deep breath. Her heart was starting to beat fast and you could see it by looking at the center of dress. She can't saying her head "calm down Tiana" "stay calm". Once she relaxed herself, she sat down on the couch. Hakeem sat across from her in the makeup chair. They looked at each other before Hakeem spoke up.

Hakeem: T, look......I know that (gtco)

Tiana: Hakeem......(takes a deep breath) before you say anything else, I have to say something. If I don't say it, I might never say it. Hakeem......this past year or the last two years have not been easy. We've have lost so much from Princess to us. (Looks at him) I've thought about a lot since our last conversation. Any what I've thought about is that I can't see you with anyone else. And I can't see myself with anyone but you. Every time I try to move on or do, I always end up thinking about you. I'm always wondering what you're doing. Who you're with? Do you miss me the same way I miss you. Do you love me like I love you? (Hakeem licks his lips) Are you actually happy? And did I make a mistake by not telling you what I wanted and needed that night you gave me my Princess necklace back. (Takes a deep breath) Even though it's your choice on what you do with Maya, I just want you happy. Even though I'm lying through my teeth, I don't think I'll be able to accept the fact that you're with her. But if that's what you want, then I just have to accept it. I just want you to know that I do love you Hakeem. And I'm sorry for all the time that I wasted.

It took everything in Tiana not to cry. Her heart was really breaking thinking about Hakeem staying married to Maya. She knew it was her own fault, because the moment she had a chance to be with him, she ran away from the chance. Tiana was scared about what Hakeem was about to say. He stayed silent for a few minutes. It was nervous silence in the room. Tiana looked down at the ground playing with her fingers.

Hakeem: My marriage to Maya is getting annulled. (Tiana looked up) She signed the papers. (Points at the papers on the table) she deserves to be with someone who's going to feel and love her the same way she feels about the about. Babe........Tiana........T, I'm sorry for all the times I hurt you. I'm sorry for acting out when we lost Princess. I should have expressed what I was feeling then. (Gets up from the chair and walk to Tiana) Tiana I don't want to keep waisting time. (Grabs her hand) Let's work this out not only for our kids, but for us. I love you.

Tiana breathed a sigh of relief. She was almost scared what he was going to say at the end. Tiana nod her head and smile at Hakeem. She got off the couch and wrapped her arms around his neck as she hugged him. She took in his scent that she missed so much. Hakeem responded by wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her back. They held each other tight not wanting let go. They both were afraid that this was just a dream and they didn't want it to end.

Hakeem: I love you Tiana.

Tiana: (Smiles) I love you too Hakeem.

Hakeem pecked the side of her hair. Tiana pulled away from the hug and looked at Hakeem. She had the biggest smile on her face.

Hakeem: (licks lips) So let's stop waisting time and get married?

Tiana: What?

Hakeem: Let's get married.

Tiana: No. You're just ending one.

Hakeem: So you wouldn't marry me?

Tiana: Yes....no...yes....no.....yes.

Hakeem: So is that a yes to  a future wedding.

Tiana: It's a we'll see but not objecting to the idea.

Hakeem leans down and captured Tiana's lips. She respond by kissing back and wrapping her arms around Hakeem's neck. This definitely wasn't a dream. Nobody need to pitch each other because it was real.
