"How did you find out?!" I gasped.
"When we were looking for Polnareff on that island, Jotaro told me that something didn't feel right about this relationship and that it felt like something was missing. That's when he told me that he was wrong about not being into guys and confessed that he liked me."
"Oh my god!" I squealed in happiness. "You need to give me details. Now!" I grinned.
"If I could roll my eyes at your reaction, I would." He chuckled softly. "After he told me that he liked me, I told him that I liked him too then we..." He trailed off and turned his head away from me slightly. Part of his cheeks that weren't covered up by his bandages turned red as he muttered, "We kinda made out on the beach."
"That's literally the cutest thing ever!" I squealed again.
"What's the cutest thing ever?" A gruff voice said from the door of Nori's hospital room. I whipped my head round to see Jotaro and my grin widened as soon as my eyes landed on him. "Kakyoin? What did you say to her?"
"Nori told me your little secret and about your little kiss on the beach." I giggled as I jumped off the bed and skipped over to Jotaro. As soon as I reached him, I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Jotaro pulled the brim of his hat over his eyes as his cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Jeez, calm down. It was only a kiss," he mumbled.
"Wanna do it again?" Nori smirked.
"For that, no," Jotaro grunted and sat down in the chair I was originally sat in. I walked over to the side of the bed and Jotaro pulled me into his lap.
"Aww, why not?" The redhead pointed. I glanced up at Jotaro to see that his face had turned bright red, and I giggled at the sight.
"Go on, Jotaro. You can kiss him, I'll let ya." I gave the delinquent a playful wink.
"No." He huffed.
"Sounds like somebody's embarrassed." Nori chuckled.
"Anyway. Where's Mr. Joestar and Polnareff?" I asked Jotaro.
"They've gone to check in on Avdol. They'll be here soon." I felt Jotaro relax at the change of subject as he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder. "So, how're you feeling now, Kakyoin?" He asked the redhead.
"A bit sore, but I'm fine." He smiled. "Oh and tell our girlfriend that she needs to carry on the journey with you, and that my injury is not her fault," he added.
Jotaro sighed and twisted me round on his lap to face him. "What have I told you before, Y/N?" I tried to glance away from him, but he grabbed my chin and made me look back at him. "Well?"
"You said that it wasn't my fault, and the team needs me..." I sighed.
"Exactly, so stop blaming yourself," he said softly and pecked me on the lips. "I've told the old man that I will be sharing a room with you tonight when we get to a hotel, so I can make sure you're okay."
"And he was okay with it?" I asked.
"He didn't have a choice. I told him that I was staying with you no matter what he thought."
"I don't think you two will get up to much, anyway. You guys must be exhausted," Nori spoke up.
"Yes, there is that. Plus, I wouldn't intend on doing anything without you, anyway." Jotaro winked and I lightly slapped his shoulder.
"Jotaro Kujo, behave yourself!" I laughed.
"Or what?" He smirked as his voice grew husky.
"That's enough, Jotaro. You're in the middle of a hospital." Jotaro and I looked over to see Joseph, Polnareff and Avdol standing at the door. Polnareff and Avdol smirked at us whilst Joseph wore a scowl on his face.
"Avdol! How're you feeling?" I jumped off Jotaro's lap and walked over to the fortune-teller.
"I'm feeling much better now that I've healed. The doctors are more than happy with how well I have recovered, so they've discharged me." He smiled down at me.
"That's great news!"
Polnareff, Avdol and Joseph stepped further into the room, and we all gathered around Nori's bed to spend a few more moments with him before we had to go and find a hotel for the night.
"Hey, Y/N? Jotaro?" Nori called us over as Polnareff, Avdol and Joseph left the room.
Jotaro and I made our way back over to Nori's bedside. "Is everything okay, Nori?" I asked.
"Yeah—" he nodded "—make sure you two look after each other, okay? And I promise that I will catch up with you guys as soon as possible."
Jotaro's expression softened. "Just focus on getting better first, Kakyoin. That's all we ask of you."
"I will, don't worry." The redhead nodded.
I leaned down and guided Nori's face over to mine and kissed him softly. "I'll see you soon, Nori," I whispered as I pulled away from the kiss.
As I stood up straight, I glanced over at Jotaro. He looked back at me and sighed – knowing that it was his turn to say goodbye to Nori for now. Jotaro leaned down and quickly kissed Nori. He quickly straightened himself up and pulled his hat over his eyes again as he muttered, "Take care, Kakyoin."
