Us Two And Them

Chapter 53

"Please Harl...even though your mad at us now. Please just let me give you some sort of comfort." Lucas pleaded. I didn't say anything but I just let him hold my hand because as much as I was angry at them. I needed this comfort more.

"Xavier is bringing over your phone for you." Lucas said and my eyes grew wide. One word.

Levi.

Lucas turned on the the small TV mounted on the wall infront of the bed. Turning on a random movie channel. 'Ice Age' was on.

After about thirty minutes of sitting in silence the door opened. Revealing Xavier, he walked in with a brown paper bag in hand. The other was a gym bag.

"Morning! I come baring gifts!" He cherped walking in. He placed the brown paper bag on the table that was moveable which sat at the end on my bed. Then he put the gym bag on the small couch.

"What did you bring?" Lucas asked.

"Well I brought a change of clothes for the both of you. Which is in that bag..." He pointed to the gym bag. "...I also bought us some pancakes out of Mac Donald's." He smiled taking out the three styrofoam boxs out of the brown bag.

"Are you hungry?" Lucas asked. I nodded my head. I wasn't in the mood to eat but I was hungry. I noticed a frown placed on Xavier.

"Oh wait! I have something for you." He reached his hand to his back pocket pulling out my phone and handing it to me. It was warm. Ew!

I looked down at it turning it on as the two of them got their food ready. There was one miss call from Levi and a text message.

'Hey, sorry I didn't text you back yesterday. I need to tell you something.' -Harlow.

When typed even my thumbs felt stiff .

'Its okay. What do you need to tell me.' -Levi.

'I'm in hospital' -Harlow

'Good joke.' -Levi

'It wasn't joke' -Harlow.

There was no response for about a minute until my phone rang. Levi was face timing me. Lucas looked at me weirdly.

When I answered and I saw in myself in the camera I got a fright. I scared myself on how awful I look. My hair was all messy and knotting. I had big black bags under my eyes. My skin looked flushed. I just looked drained.

"You weren't messing. Harlow what happened?" Levi asked worriedly.

"I got hit by a car." My voice came out all croaky since I hadn't talked for a while and my throat was all dry.

"How did you get hit by a car?" Levi asked. I notice Lucas and Xavier had stopped with their movements and were listening to our converstation.

"Levi I'll explain later when I'm alone." I eyed both Lucas and Xavier who still haven't moved a muscle. I rolled my eyes.

"Where are you? I'm coming right now." I shrugged my shoulders. I actually didn't know where we were.

"Chicagos Private Hospital." Lucas said and I think I he heard since he nodded. Levi started running around the room getting dressed while his phone stared up at the ceiling.
