This was it! The moment these girls have been waiting for. 'Just a bit closer,' Amity thought to herself. 'Just a bit..!'

Suddenly, as if someone were to stop time, the girls had froze instantly, taking a look towards the door; a soft knock was at the door followed by the surprised and shocked expressions of both Lilith and Eda.

"Eda..?!" exclaimed Luz.

"M-Miss Lilith!" exclaimed Amity.

Eda and Lilith both blinked in a synchronized fashion before Eda regained not only her posture, but her focus. She brought her fist up to her mouth, coughing into it as if this was the most awkward thing she would ever see.

"It seems as if we have, uhm..." Eda paused, her eyebrows furrowing as she looked for the right words. "...disturbed something...?" Eda questioned, finally opening the door so both her and Lilith could walk in, King following in suite as he appeared from the frame of the other door.

"No! No, i-it's not what it looks like, we swear, I-" Luz finally spoke from the floor, her face getting even more red while she frantically try to explain what was happening.

"Hey, it's okay! Don't uh, don't worry too much about us. We just heard a loud thud and being the people we are, we decided to check on you girls. And it seems that it was..." Eda looks both of them up and down with a slight smirk on her face. "Seems that it wasn't the best time, I assume?" She snickered to herself while Lilith only let out a tiny giggle.

"Miss Lilith, w-we can explain!" Amity exclaimed, still not moving from her position. She felt as though, despite her giggle, that this would lower her respect toward Lilith causing her trust to gradually fall and be dropped as her apprentice. Of course, she was overthinking it and that wasn't the situation at all. "Please continue to let me work under your wing as your apprentice...!"

"Continue to work as my apprentice...?" Lilith asked questioningly. "Oh dear, of course you are! I can't just stop that over a love interest."

"L-Love interest- wah!" The word love when revolved around her and Luz caught her so off guard that she went to go cover her face with her hands only to realize that was her only support from falling onto Luz. "Ahh- Sorry, Luz!" Amity quickly sat up and scooted a bit away from Luz, giving themselves breathing room while also letting Luz get up for the first time since they fell.

"It's okay, Amity! Don't stress about it, okay?" Luz rubbed the top of her head while getting herself up, stretching her legs as she sat up.

After Eda and Lilith shared one more laugh together, they finally mellowed out a bit, King still keeping silent as he didn't know what in the world was going on.

"Why so silent, King, hmm?" Asked Eda, picking up her furry little friend.

"I don't know but I hate it! I have no idea what's going on and I can't make fun of it! Mweh!" King whined, acting as cute as he always did and getting a little giggle out of everyone else. The fit of laughter was shortly interrupted by the slight sound of knocking on the front door.

"I'll get it!" King jumped out of Eda's arms and decided to get whatever or whoever was at the door. Upon opening it, and ignoring Hooty's calls for attention, he was greeted by an unknown pallismen of some bird like creature, almost like a crow, with an envelope enclosed with wax. The crow quickly decimated away instead of flying away unlike Eda and Lilith's pallismen do. King was of course confused but took the retrieved note and hopped back upstairs, the envelope raised above his head.

"Mail delivery! Delivery for..." Everyone looked at King quizzically as no one was really expecting mail. "Ah! For Amity." Amity looked as if she had no idea what the mail was about or why she had gotten something in the first place but it only took her a few seconds to realize that it was most likely from her brother, Edric. She smiled as she grabbed the letter from King, hoping for the name of sender be Edric, but her smile quickly faded as she read the name, only to have her heart just drop and her skin slightly go pale.
