After the meeting, we went to Pietro's and mom's office in Atlas Academy

Mom: "We're sorry for the mess"

Pietro: "And for holding onto your weapons for so long. The upgrades you requested were, uh..."

Mom: "Were more than me and Pietro can do in one day" she and Pietro laugh "But we mostly did what you kids requested"

Pietro: "We also took the liberty of reviewing your combat footage from the Vytal Festival Tournament"

We stand in front of a series of narrow shelves, each having cases on them. Nora, shifts eagerly on her feet, letting out an excited giggle as she snatches up her case. After that we calmly pick up our cases

Mom: "We'd like to suggest some additional enhancements, but for now, these should serve you well enough"

Pietro: "I can't wait what you kids can do with it"

Ruby opens her case and smiles. Nora opens her case and gets excited. Ryze opens up his

Ryze: "Well... I can't say it's not my style..."

I open mines, and take out Mortem, before walking back and change it to its scythe form and inspecting it

(Y/N): "Hmm... nothing changed"

Mom: "Not exactly. We changed the blade to titanium and not steel. Now it shouldn't bend and should stay sharp even if you cut through hundreds of Grimm"

I smile at the news of not sharpening it. It was murderous task to do

Not checking the rest of the box, I put Mortem in its compact mode back inside the case. After retrieving it, me and Ruby make our way to Team RWBY's dorm, alone

Ruby opens up her case and sees a neatly folded outfit. She grabs her new cape before putting it on. I lie on the bed, watching her, with my case next to me, thinking about stuff. She saw me and sit down next to me

Ruby: "Cookie, something's wrong?"

(Y/N): "Well, I still don't believe we're in Atlas. I'm home after nine years" I smile before frown "It's just surreal, Penny is alive, we delivered the Relic, somehow. But, my guts are still telling me something will go horribly wrong. It never let me down. At Beacon, Haven, at the farm... It's jus-" Ruby cut me off with a quick kiss

Ruby: "Since when you become a pessimist? It will be alright, (Y/N). Come on, open your case" I stand op and open the box, after putting Mortem away, I see my new outfit

(Y/N): "Well, at least I have my emblem in view now. But..." I grab my cape "I wonder if this will fit. After all, it was a present from you"

Ruby: "Only one way to find out" I chuckle

(Y/N): "Always an optimist, huh?"

Ruby: "Always'' we lean close to each other and start a kiss. Ruby wraps her arms around my neck as we continue, that's until we hear the door opening. We break the kiss and turn around to see Oscar

Oscar: "Ummm... am I interrupting something?" Ruby stars to blush while I look at him

(Y/N): "You did..." Ruby pouts and hits my shoulder as I laugh "I'm joking! Petals, keep the energy for later~" I wink and Ruby punch my shoulder once again before turning around, blushing like crazy "Anyway, do you need something, Oscar?"

Oscar: "Well... I was wondering If you two are sure it's a good idea to have the Relic with you when you guys go on a mission" I think for a while

(Y/N): "It's not. It would attract more Grimm"
