I turned off the shower and stepped out, wrapping a towel tightly around my body and another for my hair as well. The mirror was foggy, as usual, and I used a hand to wipe the condensed air away. A gleam of silver caught my eye, and I glanced down to see the cresent necklace sitting by the sink.
An idea popped into my head. I wonder...
For a few seconds, I held up the necklace and studied the beautiful, detailed engravings on it, feeling a sense of calmness wipe over me. That was the effect of this necklace, created by the Moon Goddess herself. A way of protecting me from the taunts of Nightmare.
Even with this necklace on, I still have to constantly keep my emotions in check the best I could. But it still proved to be a great help anyways.
I placed my dirty clothes away, noticing how the pile was starting to get bigger. I narrowed my eyes, making a mental note to do the laundry soon before I get too intimidated by how much clothes I've gone through.
Though this was just a dumb idea that crossed my mind, I wonder if I could pull this off. Is it possible for me to go into her realm.... uninvited.
I was about to lay down on my bed when I remembered I haven't had dinner yet. Truth be told, I was way too lazy to move, but I don't want my stomach to attack me because of said laziness.
For some weird reason, there was a small stack of coins standing on the bedside table. That's odd, why are there even coins here? Oh well.
I snatched one off the pile, positioning it on my hand for a coin flip.
Heads, I go eat dinner.
Tails, fuck dinner.
I flicked my thumb up, hearing it making contact with the silver coin as it was tossed up high in the air. I put my hand out, palm facing up, ready to catch the coin when it landed.
As soon as it did, I flipped the coin over the top of my hand, letting it sit there for a moment before revealing what was to be my next decision.
Heads.
Goddamnit.
I forced myself away from the comfort of my bed and walked out of my room, heading over to the kitchen to see if there was any food or if I was going to have to concoct something edible enough.

Cool air brushed my face, slightly tickling it. I grumbled in annoyance, rubbing it with my hand and the sleeve of my shirt. Even after I did that, the wind continued to make the skin on my face dry and extremely uncomfortable.
All of a sudden, I started to feel chilly as well, like all the sheets that I had covering my body was gone or couldn't stop the cold from seeping in.
"Who the fuck opened the window--"
I paused, my previously sleepy eyes now wide awake. This wasn't my bedroom.
The everlasting night sky, the cool breeze swaying the leaves of the elegant trees rising from the earth, and the soft sound of the lapping water.
No doubt about it, this is the Moon Goddess' realm.
I actually made it here.
The only thing is..... which part of her realm am in??
I frowned, looking at my surroundings. This isn't the usual place by the lake. There were tall grass and trees all over me, I could barely see anything.
Curse me and my height.
I pushed the ferns away, trekking through the massive undergrowth like it was a jungle of some sort. After a few minutes of aimless walking, my luck was finally starting to show.
