"Maybe we should go look for him", Frankie suggested.

I shook my head, "We're not his babysitters. I'm sure he's fine".

I continued to eat, ignoring the concerned glances Frankie and Owen exchanged each other. I guess they thought I was bothered like they were and we'd go out and search for him, but personally, I couldn't care less where he is.

"Ow!", I exclaimed, pressing my fingers on my temple as a wild pain throbbed through my head.

Frankie lifted a curious brow, "You alright there?", she asked me. I shook my head, clenching my teeth at the pounding migraine. It felt like a knife to my skull as I squeezed my eyes shut, the chattering around me becoming almost obscure. It was terrifying that this sudden pain felt a little too familiar. Was it happening again? I hadn't felt this pain since I was with Pearl, I thought it wouldn't come back. I attempted to suppress it, but that only aggravated it.

"You really don't look good", Owen pointed out with concern written all over his face. As it if it wasn't obvious I was in immense pain. "Was it the apples? Are you going to be sick? Do you need to go to the Nurse's Office?".

All the questions that kept spewing out of his mouth only caused the pounding to get worse and I desperately wanted to tell him to shut up, but by this point, my voice was gone and my throat felt dry. I couldn't let them see me like this. Without uttering a word, I got up from my chair and sprinted out of the cafeteria, ignoring Owen and Frankie's calling from behind me. I could barely run in a straight line as avoided all the other tables on my way out. I quickened my pace when I noticed the blurred faces I was bolting past were now staring at me as I pushed open the doors and left. I covered my mouth with my hand, as the undying urge to puke was burning the back of my throat. It felt gross and sore, and I frantically tried to hold it in, as I couldn't throw up in the halls. When I finally realised no-one was around, my legs completely gave out on me as I collapsed to the floor like a ragdoll.

"I'm sorry".

Two other girls scowled back at me, or at least, whoever I was in the perspective of. Their noses scrunched up in a repulsed manner, the disgust was shown vividly on their faces.

"You're such a creep!", one girl spat out, her face was vaguely familiar as the girl I got detention with for getting in an argument with her during lunch. She took a step forward as I instinctively shuffled back. "Following me around everywhere, you pervert!".

"I-I wasn't--I didn't mean to...".

Cold hands were placed on my shoulders as I was shoved against the stone wall behind me. It didn't hurt, I didn't feel the pain I was supposed to, but I could imagine it did. The girl raised her fist and shook it furiously in a threatening manner in front of my view. Her teeth were clenched tightly as her vile colour flashed in her brown eyes.

"If I catch you following me again, I won't hesitate to report you! Stay away from me you vile swine!".

"I...".

"I thought I might find you here".

Jerry's whole body flinched at the sound of my voice, standing over him at the top of the staircase. He took one short glance at me then quickly stuffed his face back into his knees that were curled up to his chest, almost looking ashamed. I swiftly found myself next to him, struggling to find words to say. Reassuring and comforting wasn't my forte after all.
