What has the world done to her? In a different scenario, I'm sure she'd be so much more happy. Something happened, and it still haunts her.

Ruy...his name was Ruy. No one was ever that nice, like the girl who saved me, them him. They are banishing the wrong people.

After getting fixed up by the boobrie dude, I can't help but pity the Exillium student. While the people at Foxfire get top class things, they get the scraps.

I need to talk to mom about this, she is on the council, she can do something.

When I get back they are still waiting for me. The purple coach, Rohanna has me, she looks very pissy about it.

At least I'll be with Ruy.

Linh

The girl is in our group, yes. Score one for me, I can finally get a friend.

The reason I think this is because unlike the other girls here, her features are soft and caring looking, like mine.

She's also smart and takes the time to think, though she didn't really, when she burned through her ropes.

Can't wait to go up to her after school and ask if she wants to be friends.

Tam

Since I know Linh better than the back of my hand, she wants to be the new girl's friend.

No that I can blame her, she needs friends and this girl looks like she just got kicked out of Foxfire, so sweet and innocent. Scared.

I need to keep her away from Linh for as long as possible, or at least till I can read the girls shadowvapor.

Ruy

Sweet, the girl is in my group. Can't wait to be friends.

The shade and hydrokinetic both look at her. The water girl wants to be her friend like me, but the shade wants to keep her far away.

Not that I blame him, those two are inseparable. But what's wrong with adding another person or two.

People work better together, we made a really good team.

Sophie

After school is done it's a relief, I need to eat. I might as well eat Stina's mallowmelt. I'm starving! Eating suppression is the worst by far.

After I get the bead, the way I come back tomorrow, a girl just runs up to me, after her comes two boys. At least I know one person, the boy who took me to the boobrie dude.

The girl introduces herself as Linh Song, the hydrokinetic that saved my life. I thank her immediately for that.

Then she introduces her twin Tam, a shade.

They are new to Exillium to, from what it looks like. They haven't hardened at all, well maybe Linh hasn't but, Tam has been hurt before and he's just keeping it to himself.

Ruy from my guess is also new, he has a boyish grin that's not hard like Tam's. He also says he's a psionipath, soooo cool.

I silently think to myself, we'll be good friends someday.

Linh

All I can think as we walk away from Sophie is, we'll be good friends someday.

Tam

All I can think about as we walk away is, if I'm friends with her Linh will be happy again. All I care about is my sister. She can help us for the better.

When I read her shadowvapor, something was up. The darkness in her was so blended with the light, I couldn't get a good read but I know, she has a pure heart.

Ruy

As we all go our separate way all I know is, we'll all be good friends someday.

After a minute something Sophie turns around and asks, "Would you guys really want to be friends with me? I'm the brown eyed freak, the girl with too many abilities, why?"

Her saying proves my suspicions about her being hurt in her past life.

Linh

As soon as Sophie says this I run to hug her. The blond immediately freaks out then relaxes, as if no one hugged her in a while.

"Don't worry Sophie, you'll get no judgment from us." I say softly and she looks so happy and relieved.

What has this poor girl gone through, to think we'd fake a friendship.

"You're not the only freak here Soph, you wanna know a secret. I flooded Atlantis, my parents thought it'd be good to go underwater after I manifested. How stupid they were, after that it was the last straw.

"I had a tribunal and got Exiled. Tam did nothing wrong but chose to come with me, I'll never forgive myself for ruining his life." She looks up at me with so much compassion, we're gonna be best friends.
