Me and Draco both walked down to the common room, which was full of students all trying to celebrate.
I stood by the stairs as Draco went and turned the music down and stood on a table so everyone would look at him. "Has anyone seen a Polecat in here?"
Straight away, Bella, Theo and Blaise all turned to me. "He's gone?" She mouthed to me, so I nodded.
"What's a Polecat?" Someone asked.
"It looks like a ferret, of you see one then tell me, alright?" Draco continued to shout. Everyone just nodded.
He jumped down and came back over to me. "We can try looking around the castle?"
"Yeah, let's go." I mumbled. We both walked out the room and began searching around the corridors.
"Where do you think he could of gone?" He asked.
"I'm not sure, the kitchens maybe?"
"Let's go there then."
We both walked quite slowly so we could search our surroundings for Milo. There was an odd tension between us. I was still a little weirded out that he moaned my name as he got sucked off by Pansy.
"Why do you keep going back to her?" I blurted out, then mentally scalded myself for saying it.
"What?" He asked while turning his head to look at me as we walked.
"Pansy, you talk shit about her to me and tell me that she isn't even good at what she does to you, so why go back?"
"Dunno." He shrugged. "There's no one else to really go for."
"I'm sure there's loads of girls who would want to go for you."
"Yeah, but most of them I've been with and going back would make them think I want a relationship or something out of it, but I don't. Pansy knows it's nothing more than sexual."
To be fair, it sounds like me and George.
"Oh." I mumbled.
"I am really sorry you had to walk in on it." He nudged me in an attempt to get me to look at him, but I couldn't. I just kept my head down looking at the floor.
"It's fine."
"What's wrong with you?" He asked.
"My pet is missing, that's what's wrong." I snapped. His eyes widened at my sudden lash out on him. "Look I'm sorry, I'm just not in a good mood."
"It's fine. I get why you're upset, that's why we're out looking for him."
We kept walking in silence until we ran into two ginger twins. My face dropped when I saw George, and his did the same when he saw us two together.
"You alright Eve?" Fred asked. "You look like you've been crying?"
"I've lost my pet, we're on a hunt to find him." I mumbled while trying not to look at George's disappointed face.
"What pet do you have?"
"A Polecat, he looks like a ferret."
"We'll make sure to keep an eye out for him."
"Thanks, he's called Milo."
"Right, we'll see you around."
"Bye."
Once we walked away and were out of ear distance, Draco turned to me. "I thought you said you weren't talking to him again."
"That was Fred who spoke to me, and I'm not."
"Oh."
"Do you know the difference between me and Bella?"
"Yeah, you have straight hair and she has curly hair."
"Well there are some other subtle differences."
"Like what?"
"Well, I have a scar on my hip, and one on my finger."
"You do?"
"Yeah."
I held out my hand and showed him my pointer finger, which had a long scar going down it. You can only see it when my palm is facing upwards.
He looked at it in close detail and raised his eyebrows. "How did you get it?"
"Um...I'd rather not say."
"Why?"
"It was from...that night."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"Sorry."
"It's fine." I sighed.
We carried on searching the castle but had no luck, so we asked Dumbledore if he could make an announcement at dinner, which he said yes to.
On our way back to the common room, we mainly stayed in silence.
"I forgot to congratulate you on winning the game."
"Thanks." He smiled. "But never wear Notts jumper again."
"Why?"
"Because it doesn't suit you." His face was serious. "Just ask to borrow one of mine."
"What, and yours would suit me even though it is exactly the same as Theo's?"
He rolled his eyes. "The Malfoy one just looks better."
I chuckled.
"So, are you going to join the party?" He asked.
"No, I'd rather just go upstairs and to bed, I'm so tired and I'm not in a drinking mood."
"Do you want any company?"
"You go have your fun, get drunk with your friends for winning."
"Well, the next game is in two weeks, against Gryffindor so I could just celebrate then instead of today."
"I'll be fine on my own, go have some fun, and you never know you might get luckily."
He rolled his eyes with a slight smile. "I'm not in the mood for any of that."
"Well, I'll see you later." I smiled while walking into the common room, as soon as people saw he was there they all crowded around him and began to congratulate him.
As I got to the stairs, I turned to see that he was looking at me. I smiled then went up to bed.
I cried a little, thinking about Milo, then ended up falling asleep.
The next week passed by quickly, the only problem is that I still haven't found Milo and I'm starting to get really worried.
Right now, I was in the great hall eating my dinner.
"So, are you coming around to mine so we can carry on with this assignment?" Bella asked Blaise, who was stuffing his face with Yorkshire puddings.
"Ye." He mumbled.
"Thanks for kicking me out guys." I said sarcastically.
"You might as well come mine so we can do ours." Draco told me.
"Yeah, sure." I nodded.
"So, what-"
Theo got cut off when an ear piercing scream was heard from across the hall. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the Ravenclaw girl.
"There's a rat!" She pointed over to the corner of the room. I looked over to see Milo cowering in the corner.
"Milo!"
I stood up and ran after him, he quickly scurried off. Everyone watched as I ran after the small animal.
"Milo, come back!"
He was actually really fast for a polecat. He ran into a hole in the wall, which meant he was gone. I got on my hands and knees to look into the hole, but it was pitch black.
I heard someone clear their throat, I looked behind me to see Draco. He was trying not to look at me and he looked really uncomfortable.
I soon realised that my skirt had come up, so he could see my knickers. I quickly got up and began to blush out of embarrassment.
"I got some chocolate because I thought it might lour him out." He told me as he held out a little bowl that had some chocolate pieces in it.
I took it off him. "Thanks."
He just nodded at me. I went back onto my hands and knees but faced the other way so he couldn't see up my skirt.
"He went in there." I told him.
He got down to my level and looked through it.
"Lumos." He muttered which made a light appear from his wand, he held it to the hole, and we could see that it went very far back, so far I couldn't see the end.
"Fuck!" I shouted and stayed on my knees. "So that's it, he's gone again."
"We'll find him, don't worry."
"He's in the fucking walls! How the fuck are we meant to find him?"
"It's fine, he'll come out at some point."
I sighed and stood up. "I'm not hungry, so I'm just going to go to my room."
"Neither, I just finished my food and I'm not in the mood for desert, why don't we go and do some more of that assignment?"
"Yeah, sure." I mumbled, now in a bad mood.
We both walked off and went into Draco's room. I had just left all my work in there so I didn't have to carry it all the time.
I got into his room and sloughed down onto the bed. "That stupid fucking bitch, why would you think it's a rat, he looks nothing like a rat."
He chuckled as he sat down beside me.
"Who even was that girl that screamed?"
"She's called Cho Chang." He told me as he spread out all the assignment material on the bed. "She's so fucking annoying, she thinks she's a know-it-all."
"I don't even know her and I don't like her."
"Yeah, she's a proper bitch. Apparently, her and her friends keep stealing Looney's clothes and belongings and hiding them around the castle."
"Wait, it's them who's doing it?" I asked. "Luna thinks it's the nargles."
"The what?"
"It doesn't matter." I giggled to myself. "And don't call her Lonney."
"Fine." He sighed. "So, what are we doing today?"
"Get started on the babbling beverage." I suggested.
He pulled out the book we needed to do the work and we began to it as normal. It's been nice working with him, he's a lot different than I expected him to be.
It's just annoying that I get butterflies whenever I think about him.

The next day, I was walking along the corridor by myself when I felt someone grab my wrist and pull me into a classroom.
I looked up to see George, he had a wide smile on his face. "Long time no see."
"Indeed." I nodded as I snaked my hands around his neck as his went to my waist.
He leaned down and pulled me into a kiss. When he pulled away, he let go of me completely and took off his jumper.
"Moving fast, are we?" I joked.
"Ha Ha." He said sarcastically as he handed his Gryffindor quidditch jumper to me. "Here, take it."
"I can't take this off you-"
"Please, I want you to have it." He smiled at me.
"Thank you." I beamed as I locked lips with him once again. "I love it, I can't wear it out or anything but I'll wear it to bed."
"Thinking about me in bed, eh?"
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes and laughed along with him. His hands went back to my waist and mine went back around his neck as we snogged.
When I pulled away, I kept my forehead on his. "I can't wear it to the game, but just know that I will be cheering for you."
"Oh I know you will, and if you scream as loud as I know you can, I'll hear you from across the pitch."
I hit his chest, which made him laugh. "Thank Merlin for silencing charms, or we would of been caught by now."
"Yeah." I laughed and pulled him down for a kiss.
"I would love to stay here with you, but I've got to go. My friends are all meeting in Hogsmeade and I promised I'd be there so I'll see you later." He told me.
He gave me one last kiss before disappearing.
That night, I put on George's jumper and some red shorts for bed. I climbed into bed and began to read, Bella came back after being out with Luna and gave me a smile. She went to turn away but then snapped her head towards me again.
"What's that you're wearing?"
"George's quidditch jumper."
"Wait, seriously?"
"Yes."
She squealed then sat beside me on my bed. "What happened to it being strictly sex?"
"It's supposed to be."
"You're catching feelings, aren't you?" She nudged me while wiggling her eyebrows.
"No...okay maybe." I blurted out. "But I don't want a relationship or anything like that."
"Tell him that then."
"Yeah, I will do." I nodded.
"Right, I don't know about you but I'm going to sleep because I'm absolutely shattered."
I giggled, but agreed with her. A good nights sleep was definitely needed.
