The Path

The men settled into the hut while Kida went to speak with Kaede. Setsuna, Towa and Moroha sat in the hut across from Lady Kaede's hut. "What is going on over there." Towa said looking out the window towards the hut. "I cant hear anything that witch has blocked out everything so no one can hear." Setsuna said with her eyes closed. Inside Kaede's hut sat Kaede, Kida and a seer name Rya. "Lady Kida that is what I see." Rya said letting go of Kida's hand. Kida scoffed "It changes nothing. If that is what's to happen then so be it." Kida said standing. "Lady Kida ye cant be serious." Keade asked bewildered. Kida brought down the barrier that was concealing their conversation. "You speak of this to no one. Is that understood." She said as she walked out of the hut putting her helmet on. "Lady Keade. What will you do with this information? Even now I see that nothing changes." Rya said. "If I said something would it change?" Kaede asked looking at her with a pleading eye. Rya closed her eyes and stayed silent for a moment. "It changes nothing. The path has been chosen and she will not stray from the path she has chosen. Definitely a vengeful one she is. Those girls should be considered lucky she is here. Well we know what would happen if she wasnt." Rya crossed her arms over her chest. "Aye Rya ye are right." With that Rya walked away. Setsuna, Towa and Moroha listened intently to the conversation and looked at each other. Rya walked passed the hut that the guards were relaxing in when her presence made them emerge from the hut. "I'm Rya and I have had a vision while walking passed your hut." The guards look between themselves. "We are not intrested in your visions seer. We choose our own paths without consequence. Leave us." Jamie stated and Rya nodded and proceeded on her way. A few moments later Hedrik caught up with Rya. "Seer." He said letting her know he was there. "Yes." She turned to him. "What did you see?" Rya took a deep breath. "I saw death." Hedrik's eyes widened. "How do we prevent this death." Rya then took a vile from her kimono and handed it to Hedrik. "The night before the full moon pour this on the helmet of Lady Kida. It will prevent her death." "She dies? How?" He asked. "Use it on the helmet the night before the full moon and she will live." Rya said walking away and disappearing  in the distance. Hedrik tucked the vile into his armor and sniffed the air for her scent. "She's wearing the helmet I cant catch her scent." He said walking back to the hut. Kida walked through the forest with everything that she had learned from the seer on her mind. Lost in thought she found herself in a field of flowers. She had journey for months and now she had reached her destination and found the princesses. She was set on sending the men back home to Scotland in a few days to follow the vision. Exhausted she turned back and started walking back to the village. Rya walked for quite some time until she was far enough away from the village and her disguise melted away to reveal Zero, Kirinmaru's older sister. She smiled as she thought of the path she had set for Kida. She would watch as it slowly unfolds and caused doom and the half demon princesses' upper hand would be taken away. Kida walked into the hut to discover the men asleep. She tiptoed passed them over to her thick fur blankets. Hedrik was awake with his eyes mostly closed when Kida entered. He watched her silently walk to her furs and lay down. The air was cold and snow began to fall outside. Thankfully there were 6 of them in a hut and they all had furs to keep them warm. Kida tossed and turned all night dreaming of the path she was on. She knew how it ended and she was determined to not change it. Strong winds shook the hut stirring Kida awake. Groaning she waved her arm putting a barrier up around the village causing the wind to die down. Sighing she fell back into a deep sleep. Keade and the villagers slept the most peaceful they have ever with the barrier up knowing it would take a bit to bring it down if something attacked the village. It was the calm before the storm and everyone was preparing themselves. Hedrik was wide awake unable to sleep. 'Does she know of her fate? If so how is she able to be so calm.' He watched her sleep peacefully after the barrier was put up. He frowned at the thought of her dying and was determined to use the vile to save her. She had saved them more than twice and he was going to save her now without her even knowing it. He closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep. The sun would be up in a couple hours and with that Kida would be in prepare mode and would be testing the 3 princesses skills.
