Narrator's POV
Death is nothing new to this group of friends. Most of them have lost a parent. Lots of friends gone, and even old Professor's they were once close with. I think that's what makes it so easy for them. A persons killed? It's not new. They're used to it, they know how to cope, they know almost everything about it.
Theo's contemplated running away with Berkley multiple times, to keep her safe. He's never mentioned it to her though. He knows she wouldn't just leave her friends like that. Especially Harper, after she just got her sister back from Beauxbatons. Maybe they should all move there? No, that would bring trouble to an innocent school.
Theo doesn't know how he forgot about his other family members. Everyone looked terrified, but mostly tired when he brought them up. Like he'd mentioned, they were probably more powerful then Tom Riddle himself. Most of them being siblings to one of the dead, or maybe a significant other. But no one knew their plans, and they all had to lay low.

Lorenzo's POV
If I'm being honest, I'm terrified. My father didn't like me much when I was growing up, but he hated my mother more. I don't even wish to call her my mother, it's not like she raised me. I would hang around Theo's house often, but Narcissa Malfoy knew we were cousins. She'd visit me often, without mentioning Draco, out of safety.
But my father was an abuser, like my mother. But once he found out she was a witch, he left. I guess that's why I always believed he was a muggle. But I didn't know that Theo had been keeping him around in his own house. Tom never let us into the basement, he said it was for him, and him only. That's why he built us a treehouse. So as I thought about it more, the more I realized we were in grave danger.
"Luna, love?" I whispered. Luna rolled over on her side. "Yes?" She whispered back. "Are you alright?" I asked. She nodded, her blonde hair piled in a bun on top of her head. "Why wouldn't I be?" She asked. "I'm just checking." I said. She smiled softly. "Are you alright?" She asked, tilting my chin so I faced her. "I'd like to say I am." I mumbled. She frowned. "It's alright Enzo, no one's going to hurt you." She whispered.
I sighed, tears forming in my eyes. "What if he does, Luna?" I whispered. She wiped away a tear with her thumb, the scent of her lavender lotion filling my nose. "He won't." She placed a kiss on my nose, smiling at me. "It's hard to hurt Lorenzo Berkshire after everything he's been through." She mumbled, climbing out of bed. "Good morning, Berkley." She said, her nightgown glistening in the sun.
"Good morning Luna, is he asleep?" Berkley said, pointing at me. I sat up. "Guess not." Berkley said. "What are you two doing?" I asked. "Going to make breakfast, to thank Molly for letting us stay." Luna said, clipping her necklace. "Want to join us?" She asked. Berkley smiled. "I'd love to." I said, pulling on a t-shirt. "May I ask how long we're staying?" I asked. Berkley shrugged.
"I think Molly mentioned a week? Depends on what happens." Berkley said, closing Luna and I's bedroom door once we were out of it. "Alright, where's your boyfriend?" I asked. "Downstairs, I made him get up." Berkley said. I nodded. "Ah." "The steps are sort of loud, be careful." Berkley whispered.
"Good morning." Theo said, filling a mug with coffee. "Morning." Luna said, pulling out a pan and turning on the stove. I grabbed a mug from the cabinet. "Sleep well?" I asked. Theo shook his head. "No. You?" He asked. "Nope." I said, filling my mug. I watched Luna and Berkley make batter. "They're so thoughtful." Theo said. I nodded, "We would have never done this for our friends." I said. Theo chuckled. "We would've broken their mugs and blamed it on them." Theo said.
I laughed and sat down at the table, Theo joining me. We watched the girls cook for a while, their soft laughs filling the air. "What do you suppose they're talking about?" Theo asked. "I've got no clue." I said. Theo grunted. "Well, they look good doing it." He mumbled. I turned and saw the sun hit Berkley's face, lighting up her eyes, as Luna said something, making her laugh.
Luna poured some of the batter onto the pan, watching it sizzle. She looked back up at Berkley, who was talking, and smiled her soft, beautiful smile. "And you say I'm in love." Theo said, nudging my forearm. I rolled my eyes. "Now, imagine Luna cooking like this, but instead of Berkley, she's talking to your kid." Theo said. I blushed. "Wow Theo, that's kind of a deep thought." I said.
He shrugged. "It's what I think about when I have trouble sleeping." He said. "Berkley helps you sleep?" I asked. He nodded. "Even the sound of her breathing satisfies me." Theo said, "The thought of us raising kids just makes it one hundred times better." He said. I smiled, and rested my chin on my hand, as more and more people woke up.
"Sleep well?" Draco asked, plopping down next to us. We shook our heads. "Me either." He grumbled. "All I can think about is Brianna." Draco said, sighing. Harper had joined the girls in the kitchen, frying bacon. "What if we die? And they're here alone?" Draco asked. I sighed. "Let's hope that doesn't happen." I said. "What if they die and we're here alone?" Theo asked. "Let's hope that doesn't happen either." I said.
"Girls! What are you doing?" Molly asked. "Making breakfast." Luna said, smiling. Molly smiled. "That's so kind, but I can take it from here." Molly said. "No Molly, our treat, you're letting us stay here." Berkley said. Molly sighed. "Oh, if you insist dears, but thank you." Molly cooed. Harper nodded and went back to cooking.
"Found yourselves good ones?" Ginny asked, sitting next to me. "Yeah." I said, smiling. She smiled. "I wish." "You don't need a man, Ginny." Draco said. "Yeah I know, but you guys make it seem so lovely." Ginny said. I laughed. "It's lovely, but it's also fun flirting with everyone." I said. She smiled. "I've tried." "And it works." Theo said, "Ginny I've seen you flirt, you've got Dean wrapped around your finger." Theo said.
Ginny smiled. "Yeah, yeah, but he's not all that." She said. Draco sighed. "Never enough huh." He said. Ginny sighed, playing with her bracelet. "Never enough." "Work at our shop Gin, meet tons of guys." Fred said. "Or Blaise Zabini." George said. "He's a fine young man." George said. Ginny giggled. "Are you guys investing in my love life?" She asked. "Maybe." Fred said. "These boys are invested as well." George said, pointing to us.
I smiled. "Breakfast." Berkley said, passing out plates. "Smells wonderful." Ron said. Harry nodded. "It does, thank you." Hermione said, smiling. Harry nodded and bit into his breakfast. "Is he still salty with you?" I whispered to Theo, who replied with a grin. "I'd be jealous too." Hermione said, catching onto our conversation. "Meaning?" Theo asked. "Berkley's gorgeous, and that's coming from a straight girl." Hermione said.
Theo chuckled, and we all ate breakfast in peace, talking about the next year in school, and other things like that. We all ignored the fact that we were all extremely terrified.
Milly's POV
I didn't want this mark. I wanted to make my daughter's come back to me. I missed them, Harper didn't even tell me she left Beauxbatons. Reckon I wasn't always the best mother, and that's my fault. I left Sirius, because I cheated on him with Regulus. None of my daughters know that, and I believe that's the reason Regulus and Sirius stopped talking to each other. I regret everything, but there's nothing I can do to change it.
So instead, I'm here, in the Riddle mansion, deciding whether to be killed, or kill. I don't want to do either. "Make a choice, Milly, are you fighting with us?" Regulus asked, tapping his foot. My face was bruised, and I was exhausted. I kept my mouth shut. "She plays a tough game." Brianna said, giggling. Insane. Just like her sister. Sirius had mentioned Bellatrix before, they thought they were cousins, but they weren't. Thank Merlin.
"I'm growing impatient, just kill her." Marissa said, rolling her eyes. I shuddered. "Oh? See that? She's scared." Kol said, laughing. "It's fucking freezing in here." I lied. "She talks." Tom said, clapping. "So make a decision." Lucius spat. I shook my head. "Well, I want to kill Berkley, she killed my brother." Marissa said, raising her hand.
"I want Lorenzo and Draco." Brianna said, "Lorenzo killed dear sissy, and Draco's just annoying." Brianna said, giggling. "I want Lovegood, she's taking my son's time." Kol said, rubbing his hands together. "Patience, I shall assign you the children." Tom said, raising his hand. "Too bad we won't be having an extra Death Eater." He said, looking at me. I spat on his shoe. "You're pathetic, Milly." "Avada-"
The door broke down. "Hello, father." Draco said, twirling his wand in between his fingers. "Draco?" Lucius asked. "No, Narcissa." Draco said, laughing at his own joke. "I see you've come by yourself?" Lucius asked, amused. "Oh yeah, I'd love to fight seven Death Eaters all by myself." Draco joked. "Is he alright?" Marissa asked. "Oh yeah I'm fine." Draco said, running his fingers through his hair. "Are you?" He asked. "I'm-"
"Hey mum." I whipped my head around, to see Harper and Berkley. "Are they stupid?" Regulus asked. "Not stupid-" Suddenly they grew, taller. "Just here for fun." They said, changed back into their normal bodies. "Bloody hell." Brianna, Kol and Regulus all muttered. "Nice to see you dad." A girl said. "And you auntie." A girl with curly black hair said. "And you, dad." Jacob said, pulling out his wand and pointing it at Regulus.
