It's Valentine's Day but Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Seri don't like having an elegant date on this special day. They've decided to have a simple date by having a tour in some parts of Zurich, Switzerland.
The couple wore a casual outfit- Ri Jeong Hyeok dressed himself with Tommy Hilfiger black pants, blue sweater and covered himself with a black coat. Yoon Seri styled herself wearing a Levi's denim jeansand leather jacket that covers her white shirt inside.
In Zurich, they visited a church called Grossmünster where they stayed and prayed for a few minutes before going to their next stop.
"You're done?" Ri Jeong Hyeok asked his girlfriend whose lips curved into a smile while her eyes are closed.
"Yes." A bubbly Seri answered.
The next spot they went to is a place called Laufen Castle where they had their lunch and took a stroll around the place. Both of them stood up in one place, side by side where they can view the astonishing Rhine Falls.
Ri Jeong Hyeok reached for Seri's right hand which Seri let him hold. Their eyes met and smiles were exchanged before returning their glances to the beautiful falls.
They stayed at the place until 2pm before they went to their next destination near Zurich called Stein Am Rhein Old Town.
The couple took each others' photos with some old houses but Seri kept on complaining on the photos her boyfriend took.
"Ya!!! Capture the whole house. You just have to move back a little." A frustrated Seri complained.
The quiet Jeong Hyeok followed his girlfriend's instruction and captured the photo.
"YA!!! UGH. NEVERMIND." A narrowed eyebrows appeared on Seri's face which Jeong Hyeok took that Seri is displeased.
"It seems you lost your talent in taking photos." Seri uttered to herself with a mix feelings of being sad and disappointed.
Mood changes around the couple who are still strolling around but instead of capturing each other's pictures, they captured the beautiful sites using each other's phones.
Yoon Seri loves traveling. She loves taking pictures and having a photo with the tourist spots and Jeong Hyeok not being able to meet her expectations really annoyed her. Jeong Hyeok on the other hand, isn't versed in using different gadgets to take pictures other than his own. He would like to suggest to Seri to use his own camera but he haven't had a chance to propose the idea.
Words were not exchanged between the couple for a moment until Jeong Hyeok asked Seri if she wants to go.
"Uhm, Seri, let's visit the bridge next?" He asked his girlfriend who just nodded in response.
They visited Münsterbrücke where they walked together in silence and looked at the beautiful sky while the sun is setting.
Jeong Hyeok broke the silence by asking a question to his girlfriend.
"Are you still mad at me?"
Seri just looked at him, turned and walked away. No answer came out from her.
"Ya! Could you please talk?" Jeong Hyeok who doesn't seems to get mad was starting to raise his voice.
Jeong Hyeok doesn't want to cause a scene in front of many people so he figured to let his girlfriend have her time.
An hour had passed and Seri was still not back. Jeong Hyeok began to worry about her since Seri's not answering the multiple phone calls he sent.
Jeong Hyeok looked for her around the place, his phone kept on dialing Seri's number but her phone just kept on ringing.
He decided to use an app on his phone to be able to see where Seri's phone is and where probably Seri is. After a few taps, the app recognized the place where the phone is- Old Crow Cocktail Bar.
"She's at a bar???" With that information Jeong Hyeok got, he quickly ran to the location to get his girlfriend.
A few minutes later, he got to the place and went inside. He searched around the place until he saw a woman in a leather jacket sitting at the corner of the room. He approached the woman whose back is facing him and tapped her right shoulder to check if it's Seri.
Jeong Hyeok let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Seri's face. But seeing Seri drunk with all the bottles of liquors on the table, his heart felt numb. Knowing that Seri got drunk because of him, his heart felt a a pang.
He slowly picked Seri up so he could take her home. They went outside the bar while still supporting Seri and walks away from the place.
While carefully holding her drunk girlfriend, Seri pushed him hard which made him let go of his woman. Seri walked by herself but after a few steps, she stumbled on a streetlight. She stood up but holding real tight on the post of the streetlight to keep herself steady. She eventually finds her balance. Seri stood up and had a little dance while her eyes closed when a car passed by with a loud music.
Jeong Hyeok just looked at her, watching her since the time she pushed him and letting his girlfriend do what she likes. He gave her some time and just followed her from behind. He placed his hands inside his pockets while his eyes are fixed on Seri. He carefully watches every step Seri takes and wouldn't let her woman wound herself and stumble again.
Seri knows that his boyfriend is just behind her. That's what he's been doing on every occasion when she drinks hard. She knows she's safe.
Minutes had passed until Seri finally faced Jeong Hyeok and called him.
"Ri Jeong Hyeokssi, carry me." The tipsy Seri turns into a baby Seri and asked her boyfriend to carry her while showing a pouty red lips and extending her arms like she wants a hug.
Ri Jeong Hyeok quickly removed his hands from his pocket then ran into Seri's arms and hold onto her first- Seri's head leaning on his chest, her arms around his waist. Ri Jeong Hyeok places his right hand on Seri's head and his left hand on her waist to support the balance her girlfriend is struggling with.
"How do you like me to carry you?" Ri Jeong Hyeok playfully asked.
"Hmm... piggyback ride." Seri who is obviously buzzed from the look of her eyes answered her boyfriend.
Jeong Hyeok chuckled and crouched down in front of Seri so she could set herself up with the ride she wanted.
Seri started placing her arms around Jeong Hyeok's neck and gave her weight to Jeong Hyeok while he began standing up.
"Hold on tight." Jeong Hyeok instructed Seri, smiling like he's carrying a kid on his back.
Jeong Hyeok started walking and doesn't mind the people looking at them. They reached in front of a hotel that Jeong Hyeok decided to check in for one night rather than going home with Seri being wasted.
"Ri Jeong Hyeokssi." Seri called his boyfriend though Jeong Hyeok thought she was asleep.
"Mmm"
"Mianhae... Sorry for the way I acted earlier." Jeong Hyeok heard a sniff from Seri and carefully placed her down so they could face each other.
"I was being childish earlier. I'm sorry." Seri regrets with the way she acted and talked to Jeong Hyeok. A tear fell into her eyes that Jeong Hyeok saw.
He hugged her tight. He doesn't want Seri to feel that way.
"Gwaenchanha." He slides his fingers through her hair while still embracing her tight.
"It's okay, Seri. Don't feel bad. I'm okay. I'm not mad at you." Jeong Hyeok reassured Seri that there's nothing to be apologize for.
"Saranghae." They both said at the said time, making them exchange laughs.
"Let's take a rest now?" He asked.
"Let's go." Seri answered.
They pulled out of each other's hugs and went inside the hotel while their hands are clasped together. Of course, Jeong Hyeok still keeps on glancing at Seri to make sure she won't wobble and dance to a whatever song she'll hear.
