"And why did you have to let her do all those sports?" your mother ask her husband in a complaining way as they walk to a restaurant to eat together, "She's a woman. She should only be focusing on her studies and growing up to be a lady, not a man. She's hurting herself with all these sports," your mother adds which made your father roll his eyes with a smile as he has already heard it before.
"Yes, yes," your father says as he and his wife walk in the restaurant, "Hi, I made reservations under the name of (Your Last Name) Chen," your father says to a waiter. He looks at the liste of names and finds it.
"Ah, yes. Please follow me," he says and your parents follow him to a seating area by the window with a view as your mother loves the views. "Here are the menus. Please take your time," he says and then leaves.
Your mother takes the menu and start looking through it as did your father, "You do know that (Name) is girl and not boy, right?" your mother ask him as she puts the menu down.
"The last time I checked was when I changed her diapers. So if everything is still in it's place then yes, I know she's a girl unless she's confused on how she wants to identify herself--"
"(Your Father's Name). Enough with the sarcasm. Now I see where (Name) gets her sarcasm from," your mother says with a sigh, "(Your Father's Name), (Name) is eighteen now. She's smart, responsible, talented, beautiful. She's my little girl no matter how old she gets and I don't want to see her coming home injured because of sports. Volleyball is fine but soccer and all the others, it's way too much," your mother tells him.
"(Name) has asked permission to play those sports before joining," your father tells her as he sets down the menu as well. "Why are you so worried?" he ask.
"Because (Name) is a woman and not a man yet you are raising her as one. You're going to give her ideas that life will be easy but it's not. It won't be for her because she's a woman. Sports won't get her anywhere either. She's coming home with bruises and let's not forget that we live in the U.S. and life is not easy there for a woman. Especially a woman who's asian. She's different from the others and and if she wants to get somewhere, she needs an education," your mother tells him and your father nods because your mother wasn't wrong.
"Mark wants to be an architect," your mother reminds him, "Jia-Li wants to work in the fashion industry or model which is going well for her now but I am worried because Jia-Li can get harassed by workers. Mark will be okay but (Name)... She doesn't even know what she wants to do yet," your mother says because every time they have asked you about your future, it's alway I don't know.
"(Your Mother's Name), remember when you had to go to China to prove to the U.S that you were good enough to play the piano?" your father ask and she nods, "After you won, at a young age too, you went back to the States where they begged you to compete and represent them?" your father ask and your mother nods once again, "And so you did and won. You worked hard to earn the title you have," he reminds her but your mother doesn't understand where he's going with this. All she knows is the trouble she had to g through to get where she is and she doesn't want her kids to go through the same thing.
"Yes, but it wasn't easy because I was a woman and an asian-- Chinese even. They choose a woman, a blond, white woman over me and another man because I was a woman, a Chinese Woman and the man was a coloured man," your mother tells him, "I had to go somewhere where it won't be so sexist but as my life is in the U.S, I had to go back and I represented them and won. I made them regret judging me and ignoring me," your mother reminds him.
"And you did. You did," your father says, not disagreeing with his wife, "But (Name) is doing that as well. She knows that being a woman in society isn't easy. She strong and brave. She's talented and knows how to fight her battles. (Name) may be born as a woman but she knows how to deal with a man. You have remember that she's also your daughter and she has your energy but you know what she loves?" your father ask which made your mother wonder what until your father smiles, "She loves proving people wrong," he says which made your mother smiles as it's true.
"And you don't have to worry about Jia-Li or Mark," your father adds with a smile, "They're both going to be fine. Jia-Li is also your daughter and she knows how to kick someone in the balls. Jia-Li would never let anyone take advantage of her. She would fight and honestly, no one can ever shut her up. Same goes for Mark and you know how honest that boy is. And you know how he would do anything to protect his sisters and the women in the family. We raised three talented kids that we should be proud of but we can't control them. We can only, as parents, help them do what's right in life and be happy for them," your father says and your mother just sighs because she hates it when her husband is right and that made your father chuckle.
"I've met (Name)'s boyfriend," he says with a smile.
"Please tell me you scared him off," your mother prays.
"He's a good guy. I knew his mother and (Name) is right, you shouldn't judge him by his looks. I mean, look at me, you married me," your father says with a cheeky smile that made your mother roll her eyes.
"I walked away from you when we first met, you Pedophilic," your mother says which made your father give her a look that shows he's offended, "Oh, don't go giving me that look. You know it's true. What kind of a man with a girlfriend walks up to a woman younger than he is for a conversation?" your mother ask.
"I... Shut up. It was love at first sight," your father fights back.
"Bullshit," your mother says with a smile, "I have never wanted to get away from another man before in my life and when you came into my uncle's restaurant and reminded me who you were as I have completely forgotten about you, I was about to call the police thinking you followed me. I also thought you were a stalker," she says with a laugh, "But somehow, you and your stupids jokes and pickup lines wooed me," your mother says which made your father smile, falling in love with your mother all over again.
"I'm just that charming~," he says which made your mother laugh while she shakes her head.

"Honey honey, how you thrill me, a-ha, honey honey," you sing as you use your brush as a microphone while standing on your bed.
"Honey honey, nearly kill me, a-ha, honey honey," Jia-Li sings while also using a brush as a microphone as she also gets on your bed.
"I'd heard about you before," Mark sings as he opens your bedroom door and just joins you and your sister.
You and Jia-Li look at him, "I wanted to know some more," Jia-Li sings as she points at Mark who gets on the bed.
"And now I know what they mean, you're a love machine," You sing perfectly and with so much passion, "Oh, you make me dizzy!" you sing with a giggle as you and Jia-Li and Mark start jumping on the bed while singing.
All three of you then started to dance around the house while singing all the songs of Mamma Mia with so much passion. Laughter fills up the house and you all end up laying on the ground while laughing. When it was all over, Mark gets up from the ground.
"We shall never speak of this," Mark says which made you and Jia-Li laugh.
"There's nothing wrong with dancing and singing around the house with your two lovely sisters," you tell Mark with a chuckle as he heads to the freezer.
"I'm a man and should do mainly things yet I'm here dancing and singing with my sisters," Mark says as he takes out an ice pack.
"You will grow up to be a fine man and lovely husband to a special woman some day," Jia-Li says as she helps you up and lay you down on the couch, "You'll have women fighting over you and wanting to be with you because you know how to read a woman as you were raised by two older woman who love you very much," Jia-Li adds with a giggle.
"She has a point," you say as you get comfortable on the couch. Your brother comes with the ice and places it on your ankle as you hiss because of the coldness that touches your skin. Mark even grab a napkin and places it between your skin.
"And you being the eldest, you shouldn't be dancing around when your ankle is injured," Mark lectures.
"I'll be fine. It's me after all," you tell them with a bright smile.
"Well, if you're so great, you are to help your dear sister with her homework," Jia-Li says and you giggle.
"I got some too and when we say help, we mean that we want answer!" Mark says as he and Jia-Li went to get their homework.

"Nooo, where are you going?" Your father ask as he has his arms around his wife's waist when they got hime.
"I'm going to go check on my kids, now let go," your mother tells him as she tries to get his hands off while smiling.
Your father lets go and goes to lock the door while your mother makes her way to the second floor to check on her three kids. The first bedroom was yours, it's alway yours as it's the closest, then it's your brother's and then your sister's.
When your mother reach your door, she opens it and walks to your bed to see you, Jia-Li and Mark in it. All three of your sleeping together in your bed. You were the closest to the door as you were hugging your brother and sister, protect them from whatever dangers of the world.
Your mother smiles as she gets closer. She gives you and you siblings a kiss on the forehead as she wishes all three of you goodnight. She then heads out and makes her way down stairs to her husband, "They're all sleeping in (Name)'s room," your mother tells him.
"Are they?" your father ask as he looks at his wife.
"I think Jia-Li and Mark are going to miss their sister very much when she heads off to college or university," your mother says with a sigh, "I'm going to miss her," she adds and your father smiles.
"(Name) loves her family very much. She will visit like we do with mine when we're in the States," your father tells her and your mother nods as she knows you will.
"Are you sure that boy that (Name) is dating is a decent man?" your mother ask as she doesn't want you to get hurt and just be with someone that will treat you well.
"He is," you father assures.

"Oh, you're here?" Jia-Li raises her head and looks towards the classroom door of the kitchen room to see Jen, "You're cleaning?" Jen ask as she walks in and closes the door behind her.
Jia-Li nods as she goes back to cleaning the plates, "I lost at rock, paper, scissors with my friends and you would think that having a sister who rocks at the game will give you an advantage but nope," Jia-Li says with a shrug, "So what are you doing here, Senpai~," Jia-Li ask with a little flirt in her voice.
"I was in charge to check that the cooking room has everything and if there's isn't enough of something, I need to write it down so that the school can get it," Jen says as she gets looking around.
"Don't we have teachers for that?" Jia-Li ask as that sounds like something a teacher should be doing it.
"They're getting payed to boss us around. If I was a teacher, why would I do it when I can force a student to do it for me?" Jen says with a shrug which made Jia-Li giggle as Jen did have a point.
"Well, I'll finish up here quickly to let you do your thing," Jia-Li says as she turns off the water and start drying up the plates.
"No, it's fine. Just take your time," Jen tells her as she gets to writing a few things down but then she remembers something, "Say, can I ask you something?"
"Sure," Jia-Li says as she starts putting the plates in their places.
"(Name) has a boyfriend, what about you. Are you dating anyone?" Jen ask which surprised Jia-Li because she did not expect that kind of question.
"Me dating? Oh, no. The only people I ever seem to attract are what my mom like to call pigs," Jia-Li tells her without thinking to much into the question, "I attract the creepy old dudes. The perverted and very horny teenage boys that can't understand what no means. The boys that say that you're asking for it if you show a little bit of skin or an ankle. The creeps that still live in their mother's basemen thinking that a woman will come to them. The boys that think that a smile is an invitation and so on," Jia-Li tells her which made Jen looks at her as she remember the incident at the mall. But the way Jia-Li said it sounded like it was a normal thing.
"As some would say it," Jen says as she wanted to light up the mood, "All man are either taken or gay," Jen tell her which made Jia-Li laugh as she walks to a counter and picks herself up so that she can take a seat on it.
Jen looks at her and smiles. She puts down the pen and paper on a different counter and then slowly walk towards Jia-Li, "You even got Yatomi's attention. You rejected him which was quite surprising as no one tells him no," Jen says which made Jia-Li look at her with a smile that shows she interested where this conversation can lead to.
Jen at that point knew that there's another side of Jia-Li that not many know.
"What do you mean? Is he that much of a spoiled kid?" Jia-Li ask as she plays dumb but the she goes back to looking at Jen with these predator eyes. As if she's looking at her prey which is Jen.
Jen didn't mind being the meal.
Jen smiles, "He is the mayor's son," Jen says which widen Jia-Li's eyes, "You didn't know?" Jen ask with a smile as she found this amusing, "No one messes with him because no one wants to deal with the mayor as he is a powerful man. The mayor controls the police and politics around here but somehow, your sister got away with it because of your parents," Jen says as she stands in front of your sister, "May I ask..."Jen says in whisper as she places her hands on the counter, right next on each side of Jia-Li's body as Jen stand in between her legs.
Jia-li opened her legs for her.
Jia-Li couldn't help but smile. She's confused but excited were this is going. She knows there's something between her and her upperclassman. Whenever they talk, there's this tension between the both of them. Whenever they look at each other, it's like they're pulling each other together and whenever they're close...
"What's your opinion on girls?" Jen randomly ask as she looks at Jia-Li in the eyes.
"Depends. Specify your question," Jia-Li tells her as she leans in a little closer to Jen.
Jen couldn't help but smile, "I think I already got my answer," Jen says as she leans in and places her lips against Jia-Li's. Jen's hands move to Jia-Li's waist as your sister wrap her arms around Jen's neck as she kisses her back.
Jen hands move to Jia-Li's thigh as your sister's hand goes to cup Jen's cheek to deepen the kiss.
"Jia! We got you your favourite!" one of Jia-Li's friend says as she opens the door. There was four girls and three guys, "O-Oh, Senpai, you're here?" she says as she see Jen standing a few step away from Jia-Li.
"Yeah, she came in when you left me," Jia-Li says as she gets off the counter and heads towards them with an innocent smile that Jen notice. She impressed how quick Jia-Li can change her expression and body language.
"Left you?" one of the guys say with a laugh, "You lost fair and square," he says which made Jia-Li laugh.
"Whatever, now give me my drink," Jia-Li says as she puts out her hand and they hand her the drink they got for her.
"See you later, Senpai," they say as the wave Jen goodbye. Jen looks at Jia-Li as she also looks at her too until Jia-Li is taken out of sight. When they were gone, Jen bends down in pain as she places her hand on her back.
As soon as the door opened, Jia-Li pushed Jen away which caused Jen to hit another counter but she was able to act perfectly fine but she knows it's going to leave a bruise. But Jen also couldn't help but smile and touch her lips.
She taste sweet... Jen says to herself with a smirk.

"And done, now doesn't he look cute?" Jia-Li ask her classmate Kunimi who was on his phone while drinking his juice box.
Kunimi raises his head and looks at what she did to see Kindaichi's hair. Kunimi blushes and hides himself in his jacket to hide his blush. Jia-Li notices and giggles, "See, having your hair down doesn't make you look like an onion anymore," Jia-Li says as she takes out a mirror from her bag and show it to him.
"Kindaichi?" Yoko, a member of the band, says when he seems him as he wasn't sure it was him or not.
"Yeah?" Kindaichi respond.
"You look different," Yoko comments as Jia-Li smiles while give a light blow to her brush as if it was a gun..
"Jia-Li (Your Last Name)," your sister look at the person who said her name to be faced with Yatomi. Yoko gets up along with Kindaichi, standing in front of Jia-Li to protect her from him while Kunimi starts recording, "Easy, now. I just want to talk to the..." Yatomi looks at Jia-Li from head to toe, "Princess of beauty... It's what they're calling you now, aren't they?" Yatomi ask.
Jia-Li is grateful for her male friends trying to protect her. It's alway been like this. She alway had someone stand in front of her and fight her battles which honestly she didn't mind. It's nice to watch but there are times she likes to have fun herself.
She walks past Yoko and Kindaichi and stand in front of Yatomi with a smile that widen his eyes because she doesn't look at all scared. "And you're the mayor's son," she says which made him smile as she ignores Jia-Li's body language just know, thinking that it's his eyes playing tricks on him.
"You found out," Yatomi says with a smile, "Now that you know, I'm sure you'll reconsider letting me take you to a nice---"
"My answer is still the same. It's a no," Jia-Li tells her as she tries to hold back her laugh which didn't go unnoticed by him. It pissed him off how she's looking down on him, "I don't care who your father is and you don't scare me. My sister got you suspended twice and nothing bad has happened to us. You can't scare me so just go away and leave me alone," Jia-Li says as nicely as she can. Yatomi opens his mouth to say something but doesn't get the chance to, "We're in the cafeteria, take one step towards me and I will scream. Touch me and you'll get another suspension which can lead to you being expelled," Jia-Li threats with a smile.
Yatomi didn't know what it was but at the moment, he felt scared. There's something wrong with her, Yatomi says to himself as something just didn't feel right.
"Get away from her," you say as you walk towards them and stand in between your sister and Yatomi, "Have you not learned last time?" you ask him and he raises his hand, wanting to hit you, "You're on camera if you haven't noticed," you warn as you point at Kunimi with the camera.
Yatomi looks at him and Kunimi just smiles and waves at him, "You still want to hit me?" you ask with a smile and Yatomi lowers his hand, "That's what I thought," you say in a whisper as you get a little close to Yatomi. You only wanted him to hear this, "My sister is out of your league. You are not worth her time and if I see you near her, you will regret it. You're just a bug that she can step on whenever she wants," you threat without having to use the words.
Yatomi gets even closer to you and leans in to whisper something, "Anna doesn't like you. I don't like you but I like your sister's face and body," he tells you which made you want to punch him but you hold yourself back because all he's using is words, "I'm going to have her. My cousin is going to have your boyfriend and I'm going to let my friends play with you and your sister. I'm going to make you regret messing with me and your sister rejecting me. I didn't want to deal with you because you were a threat but Anna made me come back to my senses, you better watch your back," Yatomi says with a smile as backs up a little and gently raises his hand to touch your face but a hand grabs his wrist.
"Don't touch her," Oikawa says with a stern voice as he pushes Yatomi away from you. This has really attracted everyone's attention as no one has ever seen Oikawa look so angry before. You decide to not stand behind Oikawa but next to him.
"I won't... For now that is," Yatomi says with a smirk but when he saw the way you were looking at him... There was no fear in your eyes. No, instead you look like you're enjoying this and then he sees Jia-Li who has the same expression. What the fuck is wrong with the sisters? Yatomi wonders.
"It that a threat or promise?" you ask as he takes a few step back.
"A promise," Yatomi says as he leaves.
"(Na---)"
"Jia-Li, are you okay?" you say as you ignore Oikawa and head to your sister. Your attitude did a completely 180. When you checked on Jia-Li, Oikawa couldn't help but smile as he admires how you put your sisters first. You grab her cheeks as you look at her in the eyes, "Did he do anything to you?" you ask her and she shakes her head as she smile.
"No, he was just being an ass like always. I'm fine. I promise," Jia-Li tells you with a smile, "Plus, I had my friends here to defend me," she tells you as she look at Kindaichi and Yoko who were trying to protect her.
You look at Kindaichi and Yoko, "Thank you both," you tell them and they nod with a smile. You then look at Kunimi, "Smart with the recording," you praise and he nods. You look at your sister again, "If you see Yatomi, you go the other way, okay?" you ask of her and she nods.
"Yes," she says with a smile as she gives you that look that tells you that she'll take care of it. You knew what that meant and so you smile.
You peck her forehead and then you look at Oikawa, "Thanks for that," you tell him as he did protect you from Yatomi. You knew he would which is why you didn't do anything to try to stop him. You take his arm so that you two can walk away. You gently let go of his arm but Oikawa gently take hold of your hand as he doesn't want to let you go.
"What did he tells you?" Oikawa ask.
"Something about gang raping my sister in a way that he didn't say gang rape but the words he used made it sound like it. And honestly, I have never wanted to punch someone so hard before," you tell him with a sigh. Once you both arrive back at the table, you lean your head on his shoulder and he side hugs you in a way of telling you that everything is going to be okay,
Jen was sitting next to Kiko and she saw the whole situation. She wanted to go over but you got up before she did. For you, it was an instinct. The second you saw your sister in some sort of danger, you didn't ask questions or say anything. You just got up and went over. You didn't hesitate.
It was like an animal instinct.
A lioness protecting her cubs.
Jen knew that you would d what you can to protect your sister but sometimes, that instinct to protect can be scary as no one nows how far you'll go except for Jia-Li.
Your sister knows which is why she doesn't have much to worry about. Mark knows this as well as the last guy that bullied him ended up in the hospital with a broken leg and arm. the bully would never be able to play basket-ball again.
Jen watches Jia-Li sits back down and lean her head on one of her female friend's shoulder who's trying to comfort her or something because they seem to be talking about something. Jia-Li then got up, said something with a smile and left which made Jen wonder...
"Where's Ena?" you ask as you look around. When lunch came, Ena said she needed to do something but never showed up which got you a little worried.
"Now that you said it... Where's Iwa?" Oikawa ask and he look around to also notice that Anna isn't here in the cafeteria either. You noticed this which made you worried.
