Third person's POV
Reese, Lydia and Allison were in the car direction a party where Scott and Stiles were, the girls showed Reese their arm. Allison kept saying it was a pattern.
"You really think Scott's gonna know what it is?" Lydia asked uncertain.
"I think she is just searching a reason to see him" Reese winked and laughed a bit.
Allison ignored her and answered to Lydia, "No, but he might know someone who does. You know that girl wasn't just looking for Scott, she said that she needed to find him"
"Just another psycho to the pack, cool" Reese said lying on the back seat. Allison rolled playfully her eyes.
✺
"What?" Stiles asked, walking toward Heather's party.
"What do you mean 'what'?" Scott asked rapidly turning his face to meet Stiles' one.
"I mean 'what' and you know what." Scott frowned, still not understanding Stiles 'what' thing. "The look you were giving, there was a distinct look, Scott."
"What look?" Scott asked, slightly annoyed.
"The look that says that the last thing you feel like doing right now is going to a party" Stiles said breathlessly.
Scott replied that it was not the point, and just because the party was the one of someone he doesn't know about.
"Wh- Would you... Oh my god, one drink all right? You'll be fine. I went to nursery school with her, okay? She said she's going to introduce us to all of her friend." Stiles said happily. "So tonight, you don't think about Allison-"
"And you, you don't think about Reese !" Scott cut him off. Stiles opened and closed his mouth many times before words left his mouth.
He didn't want to talk about Reese right now. Not after the discussion they had yesterday, which was the only they had before he drove her home. Reese seemed pretty annoyed with him.
"You know it's just a little crush" Stiles said innocently, Scott listened close to his heartbeat, when it jumped a bit he smirked and looked up at him. Stiles watched him and sighed in defeat.
"Anyway, tonight we moving on." Scott glanced at his phone to see that he had a missed call from Allison.
Scott sighed and tell him that he is right, "That's right, I'm right" Stiles replied
"Moving on"
"Yep, onward and upward" Stiles moved his hand like it was more understandable like this.
✺
Scott went outside, greeting by Allison, Lydia and a pissed Reese.
"This place is full of shit." Reese muttered, glaring at the people dancing inside the house. "You guys might speed up, I'm not supposed to be here" Reese said slightly tired.
They started talking about the marks, Reese didn't pay attention.
She was feeling something bad again. She focused on the feeling of warning that keep turning her stomach upside down.
Stiles
"Where's Stiles?" She said out loud but her voice seems distant. Like it wasn't her who was talking but more one of the many voices in her head. But it was the exact same sound of her voice.
Everybody stopped talking and glance at Scott. He said that he hadn't leave the party yet.
Reese absently nodded her head and headed toward the party and ran toward the crystal shattered's sounds.
She stopped and was now at the door of a wine cellar.
Her feet seem to move by themselves, she glances up at a small window only to see two icy white eyes staring back at her.
Reese lift her hand, sage green mist slowly coming out of her hand.
Dara- The voice started to say but suddenly stopped.
As the mist went toward the creature, a warm hand touch her shoulder, making snap out of her trans stage.
She turns around and meet the honey colored eyes of Stiles.
She glanced around her and saw that not crystal were broken or something like that.
"Reese?" Stiles waved a hand in front of her face. "You okay?"
Reese blinked a few times and responded, "Yeah, I just thought I saw something." She looked through the window but the icy eyes were gone. "What are you doing here?"
"What are you doing here?" Stiles asked worriedly.
The brunette girl tilted her head to the side. "Are you going to answer all my questions by another question? It's freaking annoying." She crossed her arms over her chest.
Stiles only rolled his eyes and took her arm gently "Let's get out of here. It's too creepy here,"
Reese exhaled a breath in relief. She didn't show it but she was happy her feeling was not about him.
He proposed her to get her home, she said yes. She couldn't speak or anything, too shocked about what happened. But what exactly happened?
Installed in Stiles' Jeep, Reese decided to call Lydia to tell her she was safe and with Stiles. Long minutes went by before she hung up.
Having no want to break the silence, Stiles asked, "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah," she looked at him and smiled. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"You're being distant." He whispered.
She scoffed a bit, not in a mean way but more a playful way. "Well, it isn't like we're close or anything like that."
"I mean, we kind of hang out a few times in the past-"
Reese interrupted him, "Lydia was with us, all the time."
Stiles rolled his eyes and continued, "I know. Trust me, we're going to hang out with or without Lydia because of all the mess that's coming up."
"I know." She frowned as she repeated his words. "You already know a lot about me actually" Reese chuckled and ignored Stiles' confused eyes.
"What are you talking about?" He wondered, redirecting his eyes on the road after glancing up at her.
"Getting to know each other more without Lydia being around. Is there a problem, Stilinski?" She smirked when she saw his red cheeks.
"N-No. No, no. Why would I? That's all I ask for, getting to know you." He stammered.
"So do I." Reese whispered, heat warming both of her cheeks as they continued to talk.
Stiles literally melted at her every action, the way she smile, laugh or even frown.
"S-sorry by the way" Stiles replied quietly, but all he earn was a confused by the girl. "About last time. You know." He said as Reese slowly recall the events.
Stiles waited for any reactions,
"Oh, no. It was my fault. Sorry, I snapped at you. I was in a bad mood." She smiled.
The moon's light lighted her eyes, making them flashing a deeper blue and a lighter skin, it was paler and yet still beautiful.
"But they're some powers that are not really classified in the Valraven parts." Stiles said to change the subject. He did some research about Valravens.
Her lips curled upward as she looked at him. He did research to know her. To understand what she was. The though made her heart skip a beat. "Which are?" She asked.
"Well, i read that Valraven make emotional link with person they love."
"Yeah. We link ourselves to these persons and we have this urge to protect them. But if you really want to know, there is another bound that can be created by a Valraven. If the Valraven love and care about a certain person it makes her or him a Valdove."
"A Valdove? What can they do?"
"Not much." Reese sighed and clapped her hands together. "They just have the same urge to protect but, I mean, I feel like it's normal wanting to protect the person you love."
"It's weird." The brunette boy muttered as he parked in front of her house. "It's here our path separat."
She looked at him, a small smile tugging at her lips. She had to bite down on it to stop herself from grinning like an idiot. "Yeah." She said as she glanced down. "Goodnight Stilinski."
"Goodnight Olson." He replied while she closes his Jeep's door.

Reese's POV
The next morning, I had to ask Stiles to drive me to school. My Chevy isn't fix yet.
Happily, he accepted. During the first five minutes of the ride, none of us talked, afraid to break the comfortable silence.
"So Valdove and Valraven are like soulmates?" Stiles questions out of the blue.
I cringe at the term 'soulmates'. "Yes and no. They are lovers but not soulmates" I turn to face him. "They have this bound that attract them together, what I mean is that the 'univers' will reunite them but it won't affect the love they have for each other."
"How do you know who is your Valdove?"
"In books, they said that I would know it, other says that I'll be more powerful at using my power."
"Can I see your eyes ?" Stiles suddenly asks.
I look at him, "My eyes? Don't you see them already?" I said sarcastically.
Stiles shakes his head with a laugh and specifies, "Your... Valraven ones?"
"Oh. Okay." I nod and close my eyes and open them right after.
Stiles' eyes slowly moved from the road to my green mint ones.
A few minutes went by before I noticed our proximity. My body felt frozen, it felt as if a mere move could break everything between and around us. So I didn't do anything.
Well, until he leans slowly but surely. I close my eyes in anticipation but his phone buzzed, making us break apart before we could even link.
We both awkwardly cough before he answers.
Stiles mutters an apology before picking his phone up.
My body is buzzing. My mind couldn't itself around the fact that we were about to kiss. I mean, we barely know each other. Well, not really since we've hang out A LOT when I was in California, but hey, Lydia and Scott were there too, so it doesn't count.
Okay, in all honesty, I might or not find him very funny and handsome. But that's it. The rest is just... irritating I guess.
"Scott need us in school before it start" Stiles says with a apologetic smile.
"Oh, okay so let's go" I respond softly while my eyes trail themselves toward the window.
The rest of the road was awkward and mostly silent.
Maybe I shouldn't have left him approach me. It could only result to one of us being hurt or both.
Maybe if I didn't have this powers. Maybe if I wasn't a...
Monster.
✺
I bite my nails, feeling rather embarrassed with myself.
First because Derek was arguing with Lydia and Allison about the marks on their arms.
And second because I can feel eyes burning the side of my head. I know it's him. I just can't bring myself to confront his eyes. Not now. Maybe never.
To be honest, I tried to avoid him as much as possible. My thoughts were running around but they couldn't find another subject to focus on so they chose Stiles.
"I don't see anything!" Derek's voice echoes.
You have to be blind and deaf to hear that his voice was dripping of anger.
Scott, who try his hardest to be convincing, told him to look again.
"How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are ?" We, all the people present in the room, share a look.
How the fuck are supposed to react. We didn't know the answer too. But it was something okay? It's something that we didn't figure it out yet.
"It's the same, on both sides." Scott looked at Derek who was still staring at Allison. If her eyes could shot laser, the grumpy werewolf would be on the floor right now.
"Exactly the same." Scott said.
Derek continued to say that it was nothing, I just rolled my eyes at his every words. The guy was just being annoying to be annoying.
"Pareidolia, seeing patterns that aren't there." Lydia says, sitting beside me. Everyone look at her like she was crazy.
"It's a subset of apophenia." I clarify but now everyone looked even more confused.
"They're trying to help." Scott says, leaving his confused face to a face who was trying his hardest to convince Derek. In vain.
"These three?" Derek raises his voice.
He pointed Lydia first.
Banshee. The voice says, resulting in me rolling my eyes.
"This one used me to resurrect my psychotic uncle" Derek nods one time, before saying sarcastically, "Thank you" he then turns his head toward Allison.
Hunter. It continues.
"Her, who shoot about 30 arrows into me and my pack. And this one, " he looks up at me.
Monster.
I briefly shut my eyes, trying my hardest to suppress the voices.
"She's a Valraven, i don't know if I can trust that kind of creatures." He spats the words with such venom I could reach him and find a whole vial of it down his throat.
Wow, don't imagine this. It's disgusting.
I shut my thoughts and defensively say, "FYI, I'm not a monster, I'm like another supernatural creature just like you. I may be powerful but I'll never hurt someone in purpose."
Wrong.
"Okay, come on, no one died, all right" Stiles eases innocently, "Look, there may have been a little maiming, a little mangling but no death"
"My mother died" Allison whispers loudly.
"It's your family's code that killed her" Derek snaps.
Did he really rubbed that on her face? Like it was her fault.
I stand up, making Stiles jump in surprise.
I slowly walk toward Derek with anger and yet I was calm. "Do you know what killed mine?" Moving my head to the side, I smile. Not a real though.
When he did not answer, I flash my eyes. A mint color winning over my original blue.
"A werewolves pack," I simply say as I find myself in front of him. "A. Fucking. Werewolves. pack. like you're fucking 'kind' if you prefer."
Derek begins to growl but I quickly stop him.
"Stop being a dog, Derek." I snaps at him. "Stop blaming other for their mistakes. I bet you did many too! So now shut the hell up, cause we're trying to fucking help you!" I walk toward the door but not without yelling 'Grow up'
Everyone look at me in chock as i leave the room.
✺
Third person's POV
Stiles and Scott were slowly walking to their next class.
Both of them were busy with the thoughts on their mind. Scott was thinking of a plan to find Erica and Boyd. And Stiles was really trying but all his mind was plagued with a certain brunette girl.
"What would a pack of Alphas want to kill Reese's mother?" Stiles finally thought out loud.
Scott gave him a glare, how could he think about something that has already happen instead of the possible Erica and Boyd's dead body.
"The main question is 'what would they do with Erica and Boyd?'. Anyway, I'm not sure it's them they want." Scott corrected him.
Scott was distracted by the twins walking past them, but that didn't stop Stiles to continue his speech, "Okay, what, like Derek? Like they're recruiting?" Stiles said sarcastically.
Scott turned his head, following the twins' passage. "Hey Scott? You coming?"
✺
Sitting in coach's class, Reese was thinking on how she snapped on Derek. She couldn't really blame him. If she were a Alpha and suddenly her Betas would disappear, she sure would have freak out and went snapping at everyone.
Her thoughts stopped when a loud noise filled the room. She looked up to see the infamous Coach Bobby Finstock.
"The stock market is based on two principles. What are they?" Scott raised his hand. "Yes, McCall you can go to the bathroom. Anybody else?"
"Hum, no, Coach i know the answer" Coach began to laugh hysterically at his student's comment. But when he understood the werewolf was dead serious he stopped to look at him.
"Ow, you're serious!" Coach realised with a shocked face, Scott answered and Coach exclaimed, "Wow, who are you? And what have you done to McCall?" Scott laughed a bit at his statement but before he could respond the coach said, "You know what, don't answer that. I like you better! Does anybody have a quarter?"
"Yep" Stiles dipped a hand in his pocket in order to get the quarter but instead of that a XXL condom get out.
Nobody reacted. A dead silence fell in the classroom.
Not trusting herself, Reese maintained her hand in front of her mouth, desperately trying to contain her laugh inside of herself.
Stiles slowly turned his head in her direction, he couldn't understand her. She tried to maintain a minimum their interaction after what could have happened and now she was simply laughing at his face.
The Coach kneeled down and grabbed the condom and gave it back to him.
"Stilinski, um, I think you... You dropped this" Coach had a tiny proud smile plastered on his face. He looked at him and nodded at Reese "And um, congratulations to you too"
All colors drained off of Reese's face and immediately stopped laughing.
A dark crimson blush burnt her cheeks as she tried to deny it. But Coach just dismissed her, saying that there was no shame of doing it, even as a one-night stand.
Stiles looked at her to see her even more red than before. Scott send a little smirk and a knowing look at Stiles who quickly shook his head at him.
