↳𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐉𝐈 gulped, still hugging y/n, but he couldn't control the sweat that appearedon his body. it was cold, but he felt so hot. like his whole body was on fire. he could feel things were getting out of hand.
ayano taught him how to control his yandere abilities. very useful but at times like this, scary.
but y/n is in the first place, then everything else.
"y/n, are you feeling better, maybe?" - he spoke into her ear, very softly
"yeah..but you never said what actually happened." -his voice made her whole body tense up, and those butterflies were now fighting to get out.
umeji let out a sigh and slowly let go of her. he didn't want to. no, but he had to.
they were still so close to each other, he still held her hand so gently she could even feel it.
"let's run, and i will talk, pe teacher will be here soon, okay?"
y/n nodded, and he hesitantly let go of her hand.
umeji was first to start running again, and then he started talking.
"you see. maybe a year ago, my friends and i were getting bullied by musume and her friends. they always picked on us because..we were losers. i used to have pink..hair. well, lets forget that. so, they continued bullying us, but one day, we wanted to stand up for ourselves, and we did. but...as you can see, it ended up badly. all of us got one scar on our faces..it was inevitable."
umeji took a deep breath and slowed down a little.
y/n relaxed so much knowing the truth, then she put a hand on his shoulder.
"it's fine senpai..if you don't wanna finish or something." -y/n spoke up gently
"no, it's alright, i told you the most painful part, now it's time how did i get to being a delinquent."
"okay umeji."
"so..that same day. when we were miserable, osoro saved us. she stood up for us and beat up the bullies. we were so damn thankful and eventually..we became friends. she started training us and we looked up to her. we dyed our hair and changed our style. now, we keep a bad reputation so other people will leave us alone."
"wow..i don't know what to say. i'm very sorry. and i'm even more sorry i thought that you would actually do something horrible.."
"hah..no don't be, it's not your fault either way. i'm just glad you asked me if it was true or not. that's what people do. spread rumours and lies to make us look like we are the bad guys."
they both stopped, and y/n leaned on her knees for support. she looked up at umeji, who didn't seem tired at all, and smiled.

fuck. here we go again. she's way too beautiful for this rotten world.
i smiled back, but i know I'm getting more red.
"thank you for sharing that story with me..i appreciate it. also, now that i know the truth, i'm sure we will be great friends, all of us."
"hahahah..yep..friends."

"alright, class!! it's time for exercises! you all need to stretch your muscles very well unless you want the pain to kill you tomorrow! let's go inside!"

this whole class i couldn't stop thinking about ayano. she betrayed me and broke our deal. but why..? why is she doing all of this? i have to think like her if i want to achieve anything..what if some of us are her next targets..god. y/n is in danger i have to protect her.
"huh..finally. that was hella boring"- i said while we were walking back to changing rooms

i came closer to her and teasingly whispered in her ear- "well, it's not my fault you are so bad at pe."

she pouted and playfully pushed me away.
we just stopped in front of boys changing rooms.

suddenly, i ran away in girls changing rooms. my hair was already tied up, so i went straight into the shower.
god, please no. does he really know that i ike him..?

maybe..he was just joking. i mean, people do flirt with their friends. maybe i should ask taro about this, yes! and osoro as well! can't wait to see her during lunchtime.
i quickly showered while thinking about umeji. he is so handsome..i mean anything he does is so attractive, for some reason. running, stretching out, even sweating! i'm acting like a creep. i should definitely stop.
i finished up, and some girls were already done, too. we all changed into uniforms and headed out. at my surprise, there wasn't only taro waiting for me but umeji too. they were talking about something. why is he waiting for me?

"yeah, yesterday i was reading a book about- oh hey y/n! finally done?" -taro greeted
"don't even start yamada. i was making sure all my things are on place." - the girl complained
"sureee that's why you are always the last one." -taro kept annoying his friend
"just shut your loud mouth." - h/c haired girl spoke up in annoyance
"ohohoh..someone has a tongue today?" -umeji decided to join in
"ugh! why are both of you so annoying?" -y/n complained and started walking without any second thoughts.
umeji and taro laughed together and followed her
"oh, come on y/n, you know you love uss!" -taro teased
"no, in fact. i love osoro." - she proudly said
umeji faked gasped and put a hand on his chest
"whaat? we are not good enough?" - he spoke with sarcasm
"how dare you y/n??" -taro followed
"OH MY GOD! you two are unbelievable! you two are like lost brothers or something, just stop it!" - y/n wined in irritation, she had a smile on her face
both guys laughed at y/n's response, and finally, they stopped annoying her.
they started a little conversation about their studies until they reached their classrooms. umeji wasn't so happy about that topic, but he was listening to what y/n had to say.
soon enough, umeji was first to go.
"well, time for chemistry, i guess. see you guys, bye y/n." -he said with a smirk and entered the classroom
"bye senpai!"
"yeah see you around, eji."
y/n and taro started walking up to the classroom until taro grabbed y/n's wrist.
"huh what is it?" - she asked, confused
"i noticed something." - he said seriously, maybe too serious

taro laughed at y/n's worried expression and pat her shoulder

"UGH! taro, you almost gave me a heart attack!!"
"goddd, but it's just hilarious!"
y/n gave taro a "seriously" look, and he tried to stop laughing

"then what is it? class is starting in about 2 minutes. just say it."
"alright, alright, well i noticed that every time umeji-kun says your name when he says hi or bye, but ONLY your name."
