No one's POV:
It was just a normal day. Star and Marco did the usual. They went to school, Marco got weirded out by Janna, they came home, fought Ludo and his monsters, and then went to go eat Chinese food for the first time to celebrate their victory.
Marco's POV:
"Star, I was joking," I said as we got home. "Fortune cookies can't predict the future, it's just put there by people who work in a factory."
"Uh huh yeah. You're now going to say that's the same with snow globes. It's clearly the work of dark magic wizards."
I rolled my eyes. "I'm just gonna go make some nachos."
After a while because I don't wanna write the whole damn episode of Toffee's first showing-
"Star, they're gonna back me up at the restaurant!"
"Oh don't be silly."
That's when we noticed 2 people having a dance battle. (Idk what it's called ok 😭) "I think one of them is about to get served!" I pointed out.
That's when Ludo's monsters popped out a moment later.
Long story short, we fought, well I fought them because Stars fortune cookie said that "love is always the answer," and she did whatever the fortune cookie said so you know. Later on she realized that love is never the answer. She defeated them with her magic and we won once again. She got more fortune cookies though, she just said she doesn't believe in them anymore but still likes them.
A few months later. (Yes I know I'm going kinda fast BUT I HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR IT OK?)
Tickets for the Mackie Hand marathon were out! I was ready to purchase mine until it said it was sold out.
"Good things never happen to me," I told Star.
That's when a portal opened in front of me.
"What the?-"
"Hey guys," Tom greeted.
"Tom? What are you doing here?" Star asked.
"Well, I came here to hang out with Marco."
"Uh no," I responded quickly.
"Ok, guess I'll find someone else to go to the, Mackie Hand marathon."
"You have Mackie Hand marathon tickets?!" I excitedly-shockingly asked.
"Yeah, I'm a fan big time."
"Wait why do you want to go with me?"
He then just looked at me. "Do you wanna come or not?"
"Hm, ok I'll go. Wanna come with me Star?" I asked Star, turning around to face her.
"Nah Im good. Plus I'm kinda stuck with these lights and I'll just try to get loose free, by myself."
"Oh ok."
I went into Tom's portal thing which teleported us inside of his carriage or whatever it was.
"Do you like it? Can I get you anything?" He asked while rubbing his hands together.
"Uh, no thanks. Why are you being so nice to me?" I questioned suspiciously.
"Well, because I just wanted to be friends you know. I know it's hard to overlook the image you have of me already."
Tom's POV:
I don't know why but I started paying attention to the little details of Marco. Like the way he always puts his hands in his pockets of his hoodie. Or how he just looks around, eyeing everything. I just brushed that off though.
That's when he told me he liked Love Sentence. I love Love Sentence! I showed him my posters, DVD's, and autographed stuff, everything. We sang together for a while too. I was actually having fun until I remembered that this was just to earn my badge.
"Hey Marco."
"Yeah?"
"You know I'm having a really great time."
"So am I."
Then we looked at each other. I don't what it was, but something.. something.. Marco looked at me a bit nervously I guess and then looked away.
He checked his watch. "Only, 10 MINUTES TILL THE MARATHON STARTS? We have to get there quickly!"
I locked the door with chains. I couldn't let him go yet, not for a couple of more minutes. I needed to earn this badge.
"Hey, can you just possibly stay for a couple of more minutes?"
"What? No? Let me go Tom," he said seriously.
I started to get angry. We started arguing until I burst out of anger, and that's when Brian came out of his disguise.
"Almost made it," he said.
"Wait give me one more chance!"
"Whatt is going is on? Dude. I CLEANED YOUR LITTER BOX."
"Master Tom here was about to earn his badge for his anger management. All he had to do was spend some hours with the person he hated the most, without blowing up."
"But you had to ruin everything!" I shouted at him.
That's when he looked at me dead in the eye and yelled, "So this was just for some badge?! Dude you're a liar and a jerk! I thought you wanted to be my friend! AND THE WORST PART WAS THAT I FELL FOR THE ACT." He kicked the door open, and he started walking out.
I soon started regretting everything.
After that whole scenario (you know the scenery if you watched the episode.)
They were in Tom's room and were laying on the floor.
"Hey Marco."
"Hm?"
"Uh, you know how I invited Star to the Blood Moon ball?"
Marco tried to act casual, he failed at that obviously and said, "Yeah, I remember."
"Ok well," I put my leg up, "I was going to dance with Star under the Blood Moon light, but.." I stopped for a moment. "This other guy grabbed my hand and we were chosen to dance under the light instead of Star and I."
Marco looked like he was hiding something, he was also sweating a bit. "Really? Woww. That's interesting," he smiled.
"I was obsessed with Star back then, you know that already obviously. So I wanted Star to be my soul bond, but this guy and I are instead."
I lifted my head up and saw Marco with a mixture of a worried and confused face. "What's a soul bond?"
"Well, firstly you have to get chosen by the Blood Moon. It chooses you and a person to dance under its light making each other soul bonds, where your souls are then bonded together for all of eternity."
"Wait.. what?!" He suddenly shouted, jumping to his side.
"Yeah. Well now, I haven't seen my soul bond in months. I don't even know what he looks like."
It looked like Marco felt pity for a bit. "Oh, that's too bad hah," Marco nervously said.
"I do have a hint to what his name could be."
Marco suddenly looked worried and starting sweating even more. "Oh reallyyy? What, what was it?"
"I heard some demons overhear a girl calling him by his name, but they couldn't hear it clearly. They said his name sounded like the name Marcus."
"Oh, Marcus huh?" He smiled nervously.
"Yeah, I hope I find him."
"Yeah ok well, I have to go now."
"Now?"
"Yeah, you know, can't ever leave Star alone for too much time," he said, putting his hand on the back of his head while smiling nervously.
"Ah, gotcha."
He took out dimensional scissors and created a portal to go back to 'Earth.' "Bye Tom, see you later," he said, waving his hand goodbye while he walked into the portal.
"Yeah, goodbye Marco." The portal then closed and I looked around.
That's when I realized something. Marco, Marcus. Wait. Marco, Marcus. No. They both have Marc though. What if.. what if Marco is him? Haha not possible. Right? No it can't be. Impossible. Let me call Pony if she knows anything. I mean Star most likely wouldn't tell me if she knew anything, but she would most likely tell PonyHead.
I called Pony and she picked up instantly, not surprised.
"Hey, what's up," she greeted.
"Hey I have a question."
"Well what is it?" She asked quickly getting straight to the point and sounding bored.
"So uh, do you know anything about Marco being that masked guy from the ball?"
I saw Pony think about it. Then it looked like realization hit her.
"OMG. I just realized that was Marco! I was too busy looking at the food that I didn't realize it was Marco! But now that I think about it, yeah, Marco is the guy you danced with!"
"Wait what?!" I shouted, shaking my head in disbelief.
"Yeah, I also heard about the Blood Moon ball. You guys are totally soul bonds."
"Are you sure?!"
"Yes I'm sure! Oh my gosh!" Pony answered, sounding annoyed. Then her eyes lit up. "Wait does this mean you'll confront him?! Cause if you do then tell me about it! You know how I am."
"Look Pony. Im just gonna try and figure things out ok?"
"You better-" I cut her off by ending the call.
Marco.. Marco is my soul bond.? Marco. This whole time it has been Marco. He knew. He knew he danced with me under the light. He now knows we're soul bonds now. How could I be so damn blind?! No, this can't be happening. No.
