Somewhere in the vast dark void, an isolated planet is hidden out of the reaches of the laws and eyes of the universe, but how can a planet be in such a place? How come this is possible?
A planet where the concept of time is merely an annoyance rather than a power to be feared. Such a phenomenon shouldn't be possible nor exist yet it is.
This planet is home to the beings who toyed with the laws of the universe, those who were deemed themselves perfected beings but still have mortal desires, those who exist solely to make fun with life.
This is the Siren World, a cold and desolate place where light is swallowed by the darkness yet there exists light in a particular place within. A place where there is a cliff overlooking the ocean, there's a lonely large fortress looming over at the edges of the cliff.
Inside the fortress, there can be seen many women going about their business as usual. The strange thing about these women is their color of skin. They have pure white skin, as white as snow but not entirely white or pale as the dead.
A particular individual is rushing towards a room at the end of the hallway in the fortress. The person in question is a girl, wearing a very risqué attire where one would question if it's an everyday wear or a lingerie, with tentacles growing out her back and has high tech weaponries surrounding her body. A normal person would point out that it's impossible for a person to have such things growing out on their back. But there are several normal looking humanoid sirens here that resemble humans, except for a few.
The certain individual is muttering to herself some questionable things that would make the listeners ask themselves if she's insane.
"This is probably going to work right? I mean there is no precedent for this kind of experiment, maybe we can gather a different set of data with this... but would the Empress approve of this?" She muttered questionably.
She hurriedly walked to the room, before the doors of the room, she calmed down and straightened herself before coming in.
A lone individual is sitting on the throne. The individual is a tall, white skinned beauty that anyone who has seen her would literally stare and bow to themselves by her beautiful appearance and aura she exuded. The woman has a very large shark-like rigging and wore a white one piece dress. The dress is see-through but only in selected areas such as the abdomen. She has amethyst colored eyes and silky looking hair that is tied as a bun on her left side of her head.
She can be seen looking at some of the data that the sirens gathered from different simulations from her holographic screen.
"Hmm... this is interesting... a certain Russian carrier is having fun with the northern parliament. A French carrier married all of the girls of both Vichiya Dominion and Iris Libre... oh he even married the high ranking sirens and including myself of another timeline...
I didn't even know that I had a child there...
Oh, there's more... Let's see, betrayed by Zero along with Purifier who chose to be with Azur Lane along with an Iowa battleship with a railgun... Oh, this is new, a human male turned into a female siren who appears to be Purifier, Iowa with a powerful authority as a goddess of destruction, an overprotective mother battleship, a black colored destroyer that screams "I am the storm that is approaching." and a Badass Akagi. Huh, these simulations are very interesting indeed." She muttered while nodding her head.
The individual sitting at the throne noticed the person who came into her throne room.
"Ho? Observer Alpha, what are you doing here? Is there a problem?" She asks.
"There's no problem at all, Empress, except for Purifier with her pranks." Alpha answered.
"Well? Then what is it then? Surely you won't waste my time." Empress said with a hint of annoyance.
"I need your permission to conduct a very strange experiment that no simulations have ever done before..." Alpha hesitatingly asked.
The Empress showed a slight interest in the simulation that Alpha wanted for her approval.
"Oh? What do you mean by that Alpha?" She asked while dropping her formalities.
"The idea I came up with is that... what would happen if you, the Empress, became the commander of Azur Lane? years before they split up?"
The Empress smiled amusingly with Alpha's proposed experiment. This would be the first experiment where one of the arbiters is the commander of Azur Lane.
"I liked the idea of that Alpha... but who would be the enemy then if I'm their commander? I know that the mass produced ships and humanoid sirens along with some particular subjects are the main battle force that Azur Lane always encounters along with the other high ranking sirens such as yourselves." Empress amusingly asked.
"We will create a copy of an Arbiter who'll lead that force, Empress. Arbiter: Temperance XIV volunteered to be the enemy. We will have her past self to be the enemy, meaning we create a clone of her with the previous set of emotions and memories of her past, along with a different kind of unit, the Mk IIs" Alpha answered.
"Temperance's past self? Ah, you mean her past where she thought of us sirens as insects even though she's a siren too." Empress giggly said.

In a certain room in the Siren World.
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Achoo! For some reason, I feel that someone is talking about my past, ah... If I could go back to the past, I would slap myself for doing those cringe stuff... Wait... I could go back and slap myself! Hang on past me, I'll slap you hard!" Temperance proudly said.

Back to the Throne Room
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Well Alpha, you got yourself an approval for that experiment, when do we start?" The Empress asked.
"We will start soon enough, after we gather the necessary data and where to put you in the simulation, then we can begin." Alpha answered happily.
"I see, tell me if it's time. I'll be working for the meantime."
"Understood Empress, thank you for approving the experiment." Alpha happily said.
"Fufufu~ It's fine, it's getting boring here lately that I often see the different simulations conducted by the other arbiters. Speaking of which, how did you come up with this idea?" The Empress asked curiously.
"Well... we often see the simulations having modern, futuristic, and fictional ships from different worlds. And we have variables ranging from us being friends with Azur Lane, us getting obliterated, Azur Lane getting obliterated too, the Ashes teaming up with Azur Lane and etc. I almost forgot, overpowered individuals from fictions too. In that sense, I thought, why not conduct a simulation where the Empress is not the enemy but as a commander of Azur Lane?"
"That's a plausible reason, I can see why." The Empress nodded at Alpha's answer.
"Well anyway, you can go back now Alpha."
"Understood."
As Alpha can be seen getting out of the room, the Empress smiles and talks.
"Hmm~ This would be fun. It's been a long time since our creation... might as well relive those old times." She said amusingly. But if one looked carefully she had a distant look before reverting to her usual self.

A/N: Author here, how's my prologue? I started writing this because I thought, "why not have empress as the commander, would things be different?" So yeah, for now I won't update this book for now as I need to focus on my other book, this here is just a placeholder for my idea at the mean time. I also have help from various writers here at the azur lane discord server. Which I can lay out on how this story goes.
I hopefully wouldn't like this to be a clusterfuck story, great idea but shitty delivery. Which I often see myself writing it to be shitty as fuck.
Anyway, see you soon mah dudes.
Dec 14, 2021 - changed and add few words, you know the feeling that you thought that you've typed the words but only to discover not only did you not typed it but left a very bad sentence?
Dec 15, 2021 - corrected punctuation errors, I'm also currently writing chapter 1.
Mar 15, 2023 - Revision 1, hopefully the final changes.
