Your POV
"Come on, MC! You can tell us!", Asmo told you, all smiley, "They know it's me!"
You were chilling on the living room with all of the brothers, playing a board game. Well, you were at least. Now Asmo had asked you which brother was your favorite demon, everyone was waiting for you answer.
"I won't tell you so stop asking!", you screamed and got up from your chair.
"Oi, stop bothering them! It's me of course!", Mammon stepped in for you but you just frowned.
"What are you even saying, Mammon?", Satan asked, "You? Really?", he smirked.
"Stop! Don't fight! I won't tell you so stop!", you got away from the table and up to your room.
You closed your door and fell on the bed with your face on your pillow.
How would they react if you told them you were seeing Diavolo? Probably not that good. Especially since he was the prince. And he shouldn't probably date a human.
"I wish you were here now, Dia...",you mumbled, hugging your pillow.
It has been a week since you guys saw each other. Diavolo was too busy planning some kind of royal event.
Suddenly, you felt a light tap against your windom. You immediately got up, smiling. He had finally time to see you!
When you opened the curtains, on the other side, Diavolo stood there in his demon form waving at you.
You opened the window without making a sound to let him him. Even before he landed completely, you hugged him.
"I've missed you so much, Dia.", you said against his chest.
"Sorry for not coming to see you sooner, my Queen/King. The preparations for the royal banquet are such a difficult task.", your boyfriend sighed.
"I know I know.", you looked up at him, still hugging his waist, "But now you are here!", you smiled.
"Yes.", your demon pecked your lips lightly, "MC, can we sit down? I have something to discuss with you.", he seemed agitated now.
You lifted an eyebrow but quickly did as he asked, sitting on the bed with him.
"So... I'll try to get straight to the point."
"You're scaring me. Is something wrong?", your heart was beating faster now.
"I hate to ask you this but I need a partner to present at the banquet."
"W-What?"
"The noblety is tired of waiting for me to present my future wife/husband and my father wants me to find someone at the ball if I don't present someone as my partner."
You didn't even know what to say. Being presented as Diavolo's partner meant he thought of you as his future bride?!
You looked at Diavolo in desbelief. He immediately got out you were thinking about.
"No one will force you to be my bride or anything! I just want the company!", he waves his hands around, blushing a little, "But not that I minded that...", he mumbled at the end but you listened and blushed.
"D-Dia, you know we have to tell the brothers then...", you mumbled back, playing with the hem of your shirt.
"Yes, I know.", he seemed tense all of a sudden.
"Do you prefer me to tell them? They asked who was my favorite demon today."
"They did?", he smiled, "What did you say?"
"I didn't say a thing. But now I guess I can tell them it's you.", you blushed a little.
Diavolo transformed back into his human form and tightened his suit.
"My Queen/King, I'm so sorry to ask this of you. You shouldn't have the need to do this favor I ask of you."
"I do it because I love you, isn't it obvious?"
Diavolo looked at you with adoration.
"Aren't you scared of all the attention that will get on you? The guests, my father, the press..."
Your heart started beating faster. You were getting a little overwhelmed by how many people where going to look at you and judge you. However, you had something that no one else had.
"I don't mind at all because you are going to be with me.", you tried to smile, "But isn't it a problem that I am a human?"
"I'm sure my dad won't mind if he sees me happy. Don't be worried about that, my MC."
"Of course I worry about your reputation. What kind of wife/husband would I be if I didn't-", you looked at him all red. Diavolo was smiling at you.
"Please finish your sentence.", he smirked.
"You didn't hear a thing!"
"Yes, I did, my Queen/King. Or should I say, my wife/husband?", he provoked.
"Stop!", you blushed, all embarassed.
"Being MC's husband...", Diavolo sighed, "What a dream..."
"STOP!"
