"It is."
"No, you were talking a peek into my cards every round-"
"And you let me, you simp. Meaning, I win."
Her statement shut his mouth as he wasn't expecting such an answer, but, he had to admit she was right.
About simp part. But yeah-
"I demand a rematch."
"Not today, I'm tired."
She stretched her limbs, which were sore from sitting in one position for a while.
"Alright, fine."
"Wait, since I won, can I get a wish?"
She could get an endless amount of wishes even without winning against him.
Just one word and he'd crack for her.
"Hm? Sure, I'm listening."
"If it's possible, I'd like some burgers."
He blinked, expecting something else, maybe gapples, or even netherite but was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of her request.
"Of course, sweetheart."
With a flick of his hand, a large plate with several burgers on it materialised in front of her, causing her eyes to light up.
"Thanks!"
She chirped, unpacking one of the burgers and taking a bite out of it.
He smiled, nodding as it was nothing to him, but then, his attention was pulled back to reality due to the sound of the door opening.
He knew it was Philza.
"I'll go now, love. If you need something, just summon me."
She nodded, with a hum, placing her meal back on the plate, as XD dissolved into the thin air right before her eyes.
"I'm home, y/n!"
She heard the door open, then the familiar voice of the old man, as he entered the living room she was in.
"Thought you died from a heart attack. What took you so long?"
"Wh- nevermind, okay but like, i found a cave."
"Ooh, such a great discovery, christopher columbus."
A hysterical laughter escaped him at her remarks, as he dropped his backpack to the floor, holding onto the doorframe for support.
"Okay-okay, it was a dripstone cave, alright?"
"And?"
"Well, I'm planning to make a little bunker in there, just in case, you know? What do you think about that?"
"But isn't there a lot of water in the those kind of caves?"
"Exactly my point. It's gonna be an underwater bunker."
"Underwater bunker in arctics?"
She questioned, skeptical, gazing at him with furrowed brows.
"Yes."
"Phil, the water is going to be freezing cold, are you out of your mind?"
"Well, but at least no one will dare to dive."
He laughed it off, still determined to put the cave to good use.
The girl huffed out a sigh of utter defeat, upon seeing the determination in his gaze, waving the case off.
"Wait, did you make those burgers?"
"You really think I'm capable of getting up, preparing all of the ingredients, cook the beef-"
"Okay, okay, I get it. Let me guess, XD again?"
"Bingo."
"Hmm, I see."
Phil muttered, with a sigh, shaking off the thoughts as he reached out for a burger.
"Wash your hands first."
His hand froze mid air, his expression blank as he lifted his gaze up to her.
Before she could process, he snatched one burger away from the plate, running off to his room and locking inside as she yelled at him.
She rolled her eyes at that, with a huff.
Men.
Plopping back on the couch, she continued munching on the burger from before.

"Wilbur, can you stop messing my hair?"
She grumbled, annoyed, swatting his hand away.
"You don't like it? You did when you were younger."
"Well, I'm all grown up now, so."
"I miss those times."
The guy exhaled, staring up at the sky with hooded eyes.
Grey clouds were gathering above them, which wasn't good.
It's gonna rain soon, most likely.
"Those times are already in the past. There's no use in reminiscing them."
"Yeah. They're nothing but memories now. You're right."
He chuckled, laying down on the grass, arms folded under his head. She huffed, snuggling up to his side, him humming in delight.
A crack of thunder split the sky in two, clouds darkening even more if it's possible, turning almost black.
A gust of freezing cold wind blew from the north, the sky fuming with the thunder.
It was like a god's wrath, at this point.
But no matter how much time passed, it didn't rain, which was surprising.
The duo was soon consumed in the sleepiness, lids heavy and low.
A minute after, they were deep into slumber, already dreaming about something.
Surprisingly, even the thunder quieted down, the dark clouds above them dissolving into nothing in mere seconds.
It was like, they weren't there in the first place, as the sun reappeared in the sky, pouring the sunlight upon the sleeping siblings.

"Oh- hi, XD."
"Were you with Wilbur again?"
Clearly, he knew the answer, of course he did, how could he not when he was watching them this entire time?
"Yeah, well, he's my brother so a little bonding wouldn't hurt sometimes."
"There's a chance that you can get hurt near him."
He claimed, a frown spread on his face.
"XD, we've talked about this before. And I'll say it again. I can handle myself, there's no need for you to be that protective."
"But I'm worried."
"I'll be fine. Techno taught me a lot, I know how to defend myself. Believe me."
He huffed, turning away from her, still refusing to let her continue to hang out with her brother.
"XD, come on. Don't you trust me?"
She still doesn't know about her so called brother's schemes, his enemies and how cruel this world is.
She's just like a dove, who fluttered the wings and soared into the sky full of dangers for the first time.
He can't just simply let her on her own. Yet...
"I do, but... Alright, fine. But I'm just gonna have a little chat with him first."
"Okay, just don't kill him."
"I don't know, I just might."
"That wouldn't be so pogchamp of you."
A snort escaped his lips this time.
"Right. Oh, I wanted to ask you something."
