You cleaned the entire kitchen and folded the bed back into a couch and still no sound from Blitz. You contemplated how long you were willing to wait him out or if you should just bite the bullet, swallow your pride, and go seek out a conversation. Just as you set down your dusting rag his voice rang out in frustration.
"God dammit, Y/n, I don't wanna play games can you just..." his anger slowly subsided, "please just come here..." you gulped harshly before tiptoeing down the hallway and toward the bathroom.
"Are you, uh, decent?" You asked.
"You really don't wanna see me naked that bad? I thought with how everything was going that that was exactly what you wanted..."
"I don't know what on earth could have given you that idea" you hid a chuckle beneath your voice.
"I'm covering myself up, can you just get your ass in here now?"
You turned the corner to see blitz standing in front of the sink and mirror, a towel wrapped around his hips and sinking down to cover his legs. His eyes focused on you through the reflection in the mirror, he kept his stare there without turning his head.
"It can't get the wrap off myself" he said gently. I made your way into the bathroom and carefully began to unwrap his bandages, the gauze falling to the ground. His wound was covered in dried blood but at least it was starting to heal itself.
"Here, let me get a wash cloth to clean this up" you offered, snagging one from the towel wrack and wetting it with some mild water. "If it hurts just let me know..." you instructed before gently scrubbing around the wound. The dried blood began soaking into the rag, you rung it out with clean water and continued around the wound.
"Fuck me...this shit isn't fun" he winced.
"And you wanted to go back to work today" you giggled, applying the ointment and gauze.
"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened or not?"
"I uh-I don't know" you got on your knees, wrapping the large gauze around his back and tightened it over his stomach.
"You look gorgeous on your knees" he smiled devilishly, running his hands over your horns.
"Watch it," you warned, "I bite" and with one last tie you stood.
"It's a complicated business agreement, I don't want it to hurt you" he touched your chin.
"I...I don't really wanna talk about it, or my feelings or, or anything. Can we just go try to have a decent day? We could go watch more horse movies or the 666 news?" You offered, he gently wrapped his tail around your waist.
"There's nothing I'd rather do."
The two of you settled onto the couch, Blitz pulled you into his chest and resting his chin on your head. You closed your eyes and breathed deeply, taking in his cinnamon and pine scent.
"When is the full moon?" You whispered, feeling Blitz tense up beneath you.
"This weekend" his voice was wobbly.
"Okay...I can prepare myself by then" you nuzzled into him.
"I'm sorry" he gently kissed your head.
You closed your eyes and relaxed into him and before you knew it you accidentally fell asleep.
