"You hear that rumbling?!?" The group looked back to see Skadi taking on a monster party.
Although she is fending them off without too much trouble, some gets past her as monsters chased the loki familia members.
"Lefiya. We will protect you no matter how many times." Ais said making Lefiya, the elf, motivated to return the action.
"Awaken: Ariel"
Ais chanted giving her a boost.
"Retreat and begin to chant, Hurry! That girl over there won't handle more for us!" Finn, the captain said.
"Yes!!" Lefiya answered.

"Im done." Skadi muttered as she hacked on the last rhino.
Grabbing the drops, she went to help the group from before.
"SHOOT! FUSILLADE FALARICA!!!"
As the magic destroyed all the monsters the group celebrated. All monsters were gone. All but one.
"Ariel!" Before Ais could even move, the monster was already sliced in half by Skadi with no effort.
"That was close!" The small amazon sighed in relief.
"We need to head back to the camping ground at full speed!" Finn said as all of them, including Skadi who was being dragged by the short amazon alongside the drops from before.
Reaching floor 50, they were shocked at what they saw.
"Ariel!"
Ais charged forward.
"AIS?! TIONA, TIONE, BETE! FOLLOW!!" Finn ordered.
Skadi got herself off of tiona and stood.
"DRIVE OUT ALL THOSE MONSTERS!!" Finn said as they all moved to their familia.
Skadi, seeing as they've already got the firepower, decided to change from attacking to supporting. Replacing her sword, she got a staff on its place. Her clothes changed from a black dress into a red dress. her black hat changed into a blue-like hue. the bag where she kept her sword changed into a box with unknown contents.
"These things... I have seen them too many times. Nobody needs things like these anymore."
She said while beginning to prepare one of her supporting skills.
She then summoned a seaborn in order for her to hitch a ride.
"Now then, please listen to the song of the distant sea..."
Skadi, finishing her chant for her skill, Begins to free fall while her Seaborn companion acted as extra range.
"The Tide Surges, The Tide Recedes"
Aura was given off both of the two seaborn as it helped boost the strength of the adventurers and heal their fatigue, wounds, and deal damage to the monsters around the two.
"What the-"
"Who's she?!"
"DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO SHE IS?!?!?"
"If she is a part of our familia, I wonder how she would fare to Captain's scoldings."
Members of Loki familia watched as she Provided support to the adventurers even if it was only for 20 seconds.
"What's happening?!"
"We're doing more damage than before!!"
"WE HAVE SUPPORTING MAGIC! USE IT TILL ITS GONE!! CLEAR THE MONSTER PARTY!!"
"My wounds. . .THEY'RE SLOWLY HEALING!!"
the Inspire effect invigorated everyone in the range as the monsters slowly but surely began to be pushed back and dwindle.
As the skill ended, Skadi casted another skill in order to help.
"No more lives should be lost. Chant of Returning by Varied Paths"
Heading towards the vanguards area in order to get them in her range. Most of them took scratches and bites which got transferred to Skadi. She might be feeling a lot of pain, but she has felt worse pain, stopping her from faltering.
"Bombard them with magic!!" A green haired elf said.
"Right away Riveria-san!" The mages said as they finally annihilated the monsters.
Knowing most of the battle finally subsided, She let herself heal for a bit and switched back to her original clothes and back to her sword.
"we're very sorry to drag you in our fight." Turning around, Skadi was met with an Ais lowering her head in gratitude.
"You did amazing, protecting your familia." Skadi complemented as Ais stood up straight.
"Ais, would you mind explaining?" Riveria asked the sword princess.
"No time. A new one is coming." Skadi then grabbed her sword.
Suddenly a large monster appeared surprising the familia.
"Ais!"
the others who stayed on the bottom caught up.
"you're fightin-" Fin was cut off by Skadi.
"Let me fight it. I'm used to fighting alone." Skadi said as she activated Wave Leaping strike.
"At least let Ais he-"
"This is nothing compared to the calamities I fought against."
Skadi's performance from before made finn a bit okay with it, but he could not let anyone fall, especially someone they dragged into the mess they are supposed to deal with.
"Are you okay if you team up with ais?"
"I am quite skilled at teamwork too, however..." Skadi frowned.
"It'll be fine then. Ais is quite strong so she won't slow you down."
"Captain! are you serious!?" Lefiya asks.
"Don't worry about me Lefiya." Ais reassured.
Lefiya reluctantly left with the other familia members as all that were left were ais and skadi.
"So you're ais, the sword princess." Skadi glanced at her teammate.
"Mmh. You are a new adventurer I take it?" Ais asks.
"Skadi, New adventurer, No familia."
what Skadi said shocked ais. but she just shook it off and started to fight the monster with Skadi.
"I'll grab the attention of the monster. just hit it without grabbing it's attention too much."
with that said, Skadi rushed as ais followed.
With Skadi keeping its attention by cutting off its arms, Ais began to move according to her plan, seeing as she had already seen through the monster.
"NOW!" Ais said.
Skadi jumped back as the wind Ais gathered had launched her back gracefully in front of the Loki familia, Her hat following suit, falling on her head.
"Arial: Max output!!"
with Ais' last strike, the monster is down for the count.
Relieved that no more people died, she was forced on her knee. this was the most tired she had been in her whole time in this new body. She guessed that she was not yet finished adapting to it, and that the supporting approach she did has taken a toll on her.
"Miss!" The young elf, lefiya, went immediately towards skadi as she fell on her knee.
" I'm okay, just tired. do you have an elixir?"Skadi asked as Riveria walked up with a bottle of elixir
"We are sorry for dragging you to this mess." Finn said as Skadi gulped the elixir.
"Hey miss! What familia are you in!" The short amazon asked as she put an arm on Skadi's shoulder.
"Before Introductions are in order, we need to make sure no casualties are to be seen." Skadi said as Finn agreed.

A few days had passed as they travel back for the upper floors.
"So! What's your name? you've been ignoring us for the whole trip back. and whenever you're not ignoring us, you're always gone."The short amazon, Tiona, asked.
"This brings back memories." what Skadi said made them curious.
"did something happen?"Tiona asked.
"The first day of my adventuring, I cleared out a Monster party of minotaurs."
"EHHHH?!?!?!" Tiona gathered all the attention around them.
"Are you crazy?!?!? What kind of God allows their children to fight alone on the first day of their adventuring?!?!?"
"Mind you. . .I don't have a familia." Skadi said as others went near the two.
"EH?! YOU GOT TO THE LOWER FLOORS WITH NO FAMI-" Lefiya was shut by Tiona as more people went near them.
"You have our gratitude young girl." Gareth laughed.
"We would like to repay you after our affairs in the guild. would you like to join us tomorrow?" Riveria asked.
"No need. I'll be going now. Misha should be crying herself out." Skadi said as she then sped up, leaving everyone in the familia in the dust.
"That girl. . . She's interesting. A very interesting human." Finn said.
"She's full of surprises. she was nearly able to go toe to toe with Ais." Tione said with a sigh.
"I'd like to spar with her." Ais said.
"you'll get it soon. After I spar with her." Tiona said.
"But first, we should worry about our weapons." Tione said.
"I guess you're right." Tiona sighed.

"WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS LIKE THIS MISS SKADIIIIIII!!!"
As Skadi had predicted, her advisor was crying her eyes out after hearing that she had been missing for a very long time. Thus, she clung onto Skadi as soon as she saw her
"Don't worry. It is not my fault." Skadi pat her back.
"WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS GETTING IN DANGER!??" Misha cried as she sighed.
"Miss Eina, a Little help?" Skadi looked at Misha's coworker.
"Don't worry, she'll calm down afterwards. Just let her be." Eina smiled wryly.
"Let's head towards the private room shall we?" Skadi said, trying to escape the peering eyes of the other adventurers.
As the pair went in, the loki familia arrived.
"Man, that was a very weird Conversation we had." Tiona said, with her hands behind her head.
"Well, Skadi sure is very interesting. I wonder how she changer her clothes that quickly back then. She wouldn't talk with us that much." Lefiya sighed.
"Let her be. She must want privacy." Riveria replied.
"Hey Eina!" Finn called to the receptionist.
"Do you have any information about someone named Skadi?" Finn asks.
"Unfortunately, she didn't really give much other than her name and that she's in no familia. Not even a last name nor any background." She replied.
"Do you know where she lives? We'd like to talk to her." Finn asked.
"That's the thing. . . Nobody knows where she resides in. other than that, people only see her when she goes here at the guild to cash in her stones. . .when she enters the dungeon. . . Or sometimes, eating at the Hostess of fertility." Eina mentions.
"Thanks for the info. Do you perhaps know where she is right now?" Finn asked.
"She's in the private room calming misha down and would probably give her the report of what happened." Eina said.
"Ooh! We can give you a report on what happened!" Tiona said.
"How did she get down the lower floor without us seeing her pass us anyway?" Finn asked the four girls of the adventure group one.
"Well, when we met her, she was taking a bath on a different room behind the wall in the place where we found the cadmus spring water." Tiona said.
"Taking a bath on the spring water??" Riveria asked.
"Yeah, she's a bombshell under those clothes! I wonder how she got herself that perfect body. . ." Tiona mutters the last bit.
"She said she activated some sort of trap in floor 10 which sent her in that room." Ais said.
"Oh yeah! She did say that." Tione added.
"Well, I'm still worried about her. . ." Tione said.
"Was there something wrong?" Eina asked tione.
"Well, she said she's used to fighting alone. . .and that she's fought Calamities. . . Even though she's strong, I fear she might be underestimating the dungeon." Tione confessed.
"Fighting calamities. . .???" Eina pondered about the information but shook it off.
"Anyway, is there any reason why you wanted to talk to her?" Eina brings back the original topic.
"Yes, we do. And I think she's just not into socializing." Riveria said.
