Hey everyone since i've been lagging so much on udating and i'm have the oh so dreaded Star testing next week i'm using my weekend to write the new Chapters. Yes That is why this one is so long.

I walk to my bed and grab the little black phone. I punch in the numbers and sigh before pressing the send button. There's no going back now.
After a few rings someone answers. "Hello?"
After a bit of taking in his voice I speak. "Hi. Umm this is uhh Lili..."

After a bit of taking in his voice I speak. "Hi. Umm this is uh Lili. Lili Bart."
"Hello Lili Bart? I'm Jacob, Jacob Phillips." I could sense a smile on his face. It made me smile.
"I uh know who you are but uh you umm don't know me."
"Well how do you know who I am?"
"Umm I uh. I think it's better if I tell you this in person."
"Why can't you tell me now?"
"It's complicated."
"How complicated could it be?"
"It has to do with Amy."
"Amy?"
"Amy Bart."
He was silent for awhile. "When do you want me to meet you?"
"When ever you want."
"How about tomorrow"
"Yeah that's fine but can it be sometime after three, I have school."
"Yes that's fine. Where do you want to meet at?"
"Where ever is fine for you."
"Where do you live at?"
"I live in Santa Cruz but I'll be by Pleasanton."
"Perfect. I live by Pleasanton. Do you know where Randi's grill is?"
"Yes!" I love Randi's I used to go there all the time with my parents, well my mom and Alec, which I will always look at as my Dad since he raised me.
"Great I'll meet you there at eight?"
"Yeah. I mean yes."
"Dad hurry up!" I hear someone say in the background.
"Umm I'll let you go."
"Ok. See you tomorrow Lili."
"Bye" I click end. "Dad" I murmur.
I put my phone on my end table and snuggle into my bed and fall asleep. I wake up in the morning and quickly put on some jeans, a random shirt, and some sandals. I quickly comb my hair. Then brush my teeth.
I look at the time. "Shit, shit, shit." I run out the door and see Rebecca about to open the door.
"Hey!" She says.
"Hi. Sorry running late for a test see you later." I say running past her.
"Good luck" She yells after me.
I barely make it to class before the teacher closes the door.
*Some time later*
"Ugh, I hate finals day!" I say to nobody as I slam the door close to Rebecca's and my dorm.
"Hey don't blame the door." Ok that wasn't Becca's voice.
I turn to our little "living room" I was definitely not expecting this.
"Josh? What are you doing here?"
"I came to bring these to you" He held up a spare key Rebecca had made for him. Why you ask? Well let's just say I love sleep and I can't hear people knocking sometimes and she wouldn't be here to open the door.
"Thanks" I say getting the key he handed to me. That's when I noticed a girl next to him.
"Oh. Hi" I say to her extending my hand.
"Hi" she said a bit shyly shaking my hand.
"I'm Lili"
"I'm Kri-" I run to the bathroom barely making it in time to spill my guts in there.
"Are you ok?" I hear Josh telling me from the doorway of the bathroom.
"Yea I must have eaten something bad." I say trying to remember what I had ate.
"You sure" He said sounding worried.
"Yea" I say getting up. "Let me just brush my teeth and I'll be out there."
"Ok." He went to go back and I heard little whispers coming from the living room. I quickly brush my teeth and use mouthwash to get the puke smell off.
"I'm so sorry." I apologize to them as I walk into the living room.
"It's fine." The girl says. "I'm Kristy by the way."
"I'm Lili. Please sit." I say noticing them standing.
"Actually we just came by to drop of the keys" He points to the keys on the counter "and to invite you to our wedding" He smiles.
"I know its fast and you guys just broke up but it's just that there's just something I can't seem to be able to explain we just know we're meant for each other." Josh and Kristy look at each other when she said that. It was really cute.
"Well we better get going." Josh says ending his and Kristy's little moment.
"You guys don't want to stay for a cup of water or water." I say laughing. "It's all I got sorry."
"No, no its fine don't worry." Josh says.
"Ok. Send me an invitation for the wedding."
"We will don't worry." Kristy says. With that we say goodbye and they leave. I look down at my phone to check the time.
"Shit, shit, shit!" I yell to myself.
I look for the keys and find them on the floor. Must have been from when I ran to the bathroom. I run to my room and get my phone from the dresser. I call Angie while I run out the door not bothering to say hi to Rebecca and Mel as they came through the hall.
"Hello?"
"Hey Angie it's me Lili. I'm so sorry I'm late I'll be there in about thirty minutes tops."
"Don't even worry Lili, Lucas is still sleeping, take your time." She chuckles.
"Ok." I stop running. "Well I'll be there in a few then."
"Ok see you then."
"See you later." With that I click end and walk all the way to my car.
I make my way to Joey's house and pull into the drive way. I fight the urge to run over his motorcycle. Thankfully I don't.
I can't believe it's been 4 years since I've been here. The place looks the same from the outside. The grass is a bit bigger though. Also there are chairs on the front porch now.
I cut the engine on the car. I take a quick glance in the little visor mirror.
"Shit I didn't put make up on. Ugh, Whatever." I put the visor up and step out of the car. I just as I make my way to the door Lucas runs out.
"Hi Lili!" He says stopping in front of me.
"Hey Lucas!" I bend down to hug him.
"Is it true you're going to take us to your sister's house to meet Jesse?"
"Yes. I'm sure you two will get along really good."
"He's not mean?"
"Nope"
"Will he let me use his toys?"
"Yes and if you ask he might even let you use his motorcycle that Uncle Joey gave him."
"Really?" He says with a big smile.
"I promise." I smile back at him.
"Cool. Come on mommy is inside" He grabs my hand and walks me in.
There were a few boxes in the living room but other than that it looked the same. I looked to the opening that led to the kitchen. I saw a figure of someone walking through the archway.
I'd know those muscles and that body anywhere. I turn to go wait in the porch.
"Uncle Joey Lili's going to take me to meet Jesse!"
"Really kiddo." He says to Lucas without taking his eyes off of me. Ok maybe I didn't leave. My legs are just not working with my body.
"Yeah! Lili also said he'd let me use his motorcycle!"
"I'm sure he will." He turns to Lucas and smiles at him.
I start to feel something in my throat.
I run to bathroom. I'm surprised I remember where it was. I quickly lift up the toilet seat. Two hands pull my hair back. I don't even turn to look back I just spill my guts in the toilet again. Someone starts rubbing my back.
"Are you ok?" I hear Joey say.
"Fine" I say getting up. I go to the sink and rinse out my mouth.
"Do you want a tooth brush? Mouth wash?"
"Mouth wash please."
He opens up a mirror cabinet and hands me the mouth wash. "Here"
"Thanks" I say getting the mouth wash.
"Mm hmm"
I rinse out my mouth again.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
"Yes I just had a bad bagel or something." I say sternly
"I'm sorry"
"It's not your fault."
"Not about that" He shakes his head as if to let the thought go "How's Josh"
"Great" I say not mentioning we're broken up it's not any of his business to know about it anyways.
"You haven't broken up with him yet?" He asks
"Nope" I wasn't lying he's the one that broke up with me.
"Oh."
"Yeah so how's Emily."
"She's good. Getting married soon." He put his hands in his pockets
"Oh nice."
"Yeah" He smiles. I fake smile at him. I feel something else in my throat again but this wasn't another vomit wave. This was bigger and it belonged somewhere in the middle of my chest area.
"Lili?" I hear someone behind me say.
I turn to see Angie. "Hi!" I say walking out of the bathroom to hug her.
"Hi! Are you ok? I heard someone vomiting."
"Yeah I'm fine I just ate something bad"
"I hate when that happens."
"I know right." We both start to walk to the living room. I turn my head back to see Joey leaning against the door looking down.
"I'll be right back I forgot to flush the toilet." I say to Angie as I remembered that I hadn't flushed the toilet.
"Ok I'll start getting my bag ready to leave."
"Ok" We both go in separate directions.
"Are you ok?" I ask Joey as I get near him.
"Yeah I'm fine."
"We're going to Bella's want to join?"
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"Ok let me go get a shirt and jacket." He runs upstairs and I walk into the bathroom to flush the toilet but notice it was already flushed.
I walk out and Joey is already standing there.
"Ready." I couldn't help but look at what he was wearing. He had his tight, white v neck shirt. Classic Joey I smile.
"OK let's just go get Angie, Chris, and Lucas." I say to take my eyes off him.
We walk out to the living room.
"You're going too?" Chris asks Joey. Joey just nods.
"Wow. Finally you're going out of this place!" Chris says.
"Ok you two" Angie points at Chris and Joey "are going in our car." She says looking at Chris. "Lucas, Lili, and I are going in Lili's Car."
"Ok" We all say and start leaving.
"Mommy I need to go pee!" Lucas yells.
"Well hurry up and go!" She says and Lucas runs to the bathroom.
"Do you girls want us to wait for you?" Joey says to me.
"If you guys want." I say.
"Ok we'll wait. Do you want anything to drink?"
"Can I have water?"
"Sure." He goes to the kitchen.
"Angie do you want anything to drink?"
"Yeah can you get me two water bottles?"
"ok." I walk into the kitchen but don't see the water bottles or Joey. I did notice the door leading down stairs was open. I walk down stairs.
There were more moving boxes in there. I look around but don't see any water bottles. I see the door to the garage door open and walk through.
I gasp when I see Joey's red car. It was all beat up, broken, and scratched everywhere.
I walk towards the car and touch it. Just as I do I see Joey and I let it go.
"Hey what are you doing here?" He says surprised to see me there.
"What happened to it?" I ask.
"Crashed it." He says with a shrug as if it was nothing.
"When?"
"About four years ago."
"Oh. I'm sorry"
"It's ok. Here's your water." He says handing me over a water bottle.
"Thanks" I say as our fingers brush when I grab the bottle. He holds onto the water bottle a little bit longer then let's go.
"No problem."
"Can I get two more? Angie wanted some."
"Yeah here." He passes me two more bottles.
"Thanks. We should get going we don't want to get there late."
"Yeah you're right."
I nod my head.
"After you"
We walked out to the living room and Lucas got there at the same time.
"Alright let's go." Chris says.
I was glad that only Angie, Lucas, and I were going together in my car. I don't know if I'd be able to handle a whole ride with Joey. Things were just weird and awkward.
"Hey um what did Chris mean when he said Joey was finally going out." I ask Angie when we were in the freeway.
"Ever since the Emiley thing he's stayed inside. I think once I even heard him cry at night but just don't tell anyone I told you."
"I won't I promise." Wasn't he happy that he was going to have a baby?
"Can I turn on the radio?"
"Yeah go ahead."
We finally get to Bella's house. Jesse was outside on his motorcycle. When he saw me pull up he got off it.
"Nina!" He screams running towards me when I got out.
"Hey Jesse!" I say hugging him. "I missed you so much" I kiss his cheek.
"Who's he?" Jesse says when I had let go of him.
"Jesse this is Lucas my friend. Say hi."
"Hi!" Jesse says to Lucas.
"Hi" Lucas says shyly.
"Want to ride my motorcycle?" Jesse says smiling.
Lucas looks at me smiling.
"I told you." I say smiling back at him. He and Jesse go towards his motorcycle.
"Hey little sis!"A shirtless Sean says hugging me.
"Hey Sean!" I hug back.
"Sean this is Angie, Angie this is my brother in law Sean."
"Aren't you that one model?"
"Yeah" Sean says.
"He likes to show off." I say "That's why he's shirtless." I jokingly smack Sean.
"Hey no hitting Nina!" I hear Jesse scream at me.
"He hit a little kid in preschool we're trying to teaching him not to hit." Sean says.
"Well you could have let me know before." I joke.
"NINO!" I hear Jesse scream again.
"I guess the guys are here." I say.
Just then Chris walks over to us.
"Sean this is Chris, Chris this is Sean my brother in law."
"Hello" They both say shaking hands.
"Sean! I got your shirt!" I hear Bella as she steps outside.
"That's my sister." I say to Angie and Chris as Sean went towards Bella. We all walk towards them.
"Hi Bella!" I say hugging her.
"I missed you so much. That Josh kid is keeping you away from us too much."
"You don't have to worry about that anymore." I whisper to her.
"Huh?"
"I'll tell you later."
"You better."
"Bella this is Chris and Angie."
"Hi" They greet each other.
"Want to go see the house?" Bella asks.
"Can we?" Angie asks
"Yeah come on." Bella says. "Where's Jesse?" Bella asks Sean.
"With Joey"
"Ok"
"Lili can you watch Lucas for me?" Angie asks me.
"Yeah" With that Sean, Bella, Angie, and Chris walk over to the neighbor's house.
"...then this big monster came and he took Rose away from David and their son Harley was very, very, very sad. He cried all night." Joey was telling the boys a story.
"What about David?" Lucas asks.
I sit on a chair by the boys. Joey looks at me.
"David tried to be strong for Harley. But he too cried at night." He turns back to the boys "One day David woke up and Harley was still crying so David told Harley" He turns back to me "Don't worry I'll save mommy from the big monster."
"Then what?" Jesses asks.
Joey turns back to them. "David got in a motorcycle and drove to the monsters house. He jumped over the fence and he fought the monster." The boys' eyes went wide. "And he won. He ran all the way up to the tower and kicked the door open and saved Rose from the bad monster." The boys yelled 'yay' "Then David and Rose hopped on David's motorcycle and went home to Harley and they were a happy family again."
"Yay!" the boys yell and clap.
"Uncle Joey is David hero?" Lucas asks.
"Yes he is"
"He's my favorite Hero now." Lucas says.
"Mine too!" Jesse says.
They get up and run over to the motorcycle.
"Nice story." I smile at Joey.
"True one too" He says looking down.
I nod my head.
"Look Lili I just want to say I'm sorry for what happened at Chicago." He says looking at me.
"Look its ok alright it's the past."
"NO!" he closes his eyes then opens them again. "Look I was drunk I know that doesn't justify how I acted." He sighs "What I'm trying to say is you'd make anyone happy. I just hope that Josh makes you happy." He looks down at the ground.
"Joey I'm not..."
"Not What?" He says looking at me.
"I'm not going to be able to stay too long here I have to go meet with someone."
"With Josh?"
"No he broke up with me."
"I asked you and you said you hadn't broken up with him."
"No you asked if I had broke up with him not if he had broke up with me." I smirk
He smiles.
"I have to go can you tell Bella I'll be back here no later than eleven."
"Yeah, and I'm not trying to be nosey but if you're not going out with Josh who are you going out to meet"
"Jacob" I say simply.
"You mean your Dad?"
"Yeah" I forgot he knew about him.
"Are you scared?"
"Kinda."
"Want me to go with you?"
"No I think I have to do this by myself."
"Ok"
"Thanks anyways though."
He nods his head. I get up and walk over to my car.
I can't help but think of Joey's and my relationship. It's a hate love in away. If only it could stay at one then life would be so much easier.
I quickly go to the restaurant before I change my mind.
