When I was finally home, I let myself fall to my bed. This day was pretty stressful and I was really hungry, so I decided to walk to the kitchen where a perfect plate with pizza was waiting for me. I was so happy about the food that I could've shed a tear.
After I ate my food I received a text message from my best friend Angela.

Is it ok if steve brings his best friend too?
ofc why not?
Steve is her boyfriend, they've met 3 years ago, he's pretty nice and really good for her.
She doesn't want to leave me out, so they often invite me when they meet up. And because it's summer it's pretty hot here in California, so I don't really mind going for a swim.
I put on my bikini under my clothes and rushed out of the house.
I decided it would be better to ride my bike instead of walking.
After a few minutes I was finally there. I spotted Angi sitting on the ground by herself without Steve.
"Hey, Angi."
She turned around and a big smile started growing on her face. She stood up and hugged me.
"Finally. Steve and his friend aren't here yet."
She finally let me out of the hug.
"Let's change before they arrive.", I suggested.
"Good idea!"
After we changed, we sat down onto a blanket on the grass that Angi brought from home.
We sat there in silence for a few seconds before I decided it would be a great idea to play some music.
"Let's listen to some music while we wait!"
"You know which song would be really good right now?", she asked while we looked at each other.
"Cruel Summer!", we both said in sync.
It's our favorite song, especially in summer.
We suddenly heard Steves voice behind us and turned the music down.
I was about to greet him when I saw him.
Nate. This can't be true.
No. No. No. You got to be kidding me.
Steve and Angela hugged each other while Nate and I locked eyes.
"What a surprise Alaska!", Nate said while holding his hand out, expecting me to shake it.
I just stood there, still in shook from that awful surprise.
"Wait, you guys know each other?", Steve asked.
"Unfortunately", I said while looking over to Angi.
I heard Nate chuckle before Angi said:
„I had no idea that Nate and you are friends."
"WE'RE NOT!", Nate and I said at the same time.
Steve and Angi just looked at each other, probably concerned and confused at the same time.
"You know what? Nate and I are going to change.",
Steve said smiling while pulling Nate into his direction.
After they were finally gone, I looked at Angi.
"I can't stand this guy! No, wait! I actually HATE him!"
