Admiration/attractive =what do they find attractive/what do they adore about you?
He admires how understanding you are of other people. When he talks to you, you actually listen. You're there for people when they need to vent, and he can tell you genuinely don't judge.
Bond =how quickly did they bond with you/how quickly did they get a crush?
You two ended up forming a deep bond quicker than either of you expected. Something about you just drew him in.
You became very close after about 4 months, and Stephen realized he had fallen in love with you after about a year. Though, he likes to say he always knew, and let you in on purpose.
Cuddle =how do they like to cuddle & how frequently?
He's much cuddlier than he lets people think.
Sure, he won't cuddle you in front of other people often, but he likes being close to you, or pressed up against you. He usually sleeps better when there's that pressure against him. If it's not a person, he'll use a pillow to either wrap his arms around, or for it to just be there next to him.
He's also secretly a little spoon. Sure, as much as he loves holding you while you're laying on his chest, or being the one cuddling you—he also likes it when you wrap your arms around him. his back to you, your arms against his chest, it makes him feel secure.
Dysphoria =how do they respond to you being dysphoric?
He can tell when you're having an "off" day. When this happens, he tries to do as much for you as he can to take the pressure off of you. He brings you tea, or another drink you find comforting, and will sit in the same proximity as you quietly. He won't force you to talk about it, but he's there if you need to. If you're out in public, he'll ask if you want to leave, and will just portal the two of you back to your room without giving any reason as to why you're leaving.
Emotions =how do they express emotions around you?
While he's not too different around you when expressing emotions, you definitely get to see a softer, more playful side of him. He also smiles and laughs more easily when you're around.
Fight =are they easy to forgive you? How are they fighting?
He can be pretty stubborn. It's difficult for him to admit that he was wrong—especially if you're expecting him to do it first. You're the first to apologize in most cases, and it'd have to be a pretty bad split-up, or he'd have to be extra worried that you'll leave for him to apologize first.
If he snaps, or said something in the moment out of line (that doesn't become an entire fight), he'll apologize for overreacting.
Gratitude =are they grateful in general/are they aware of you doing things for them?
He's very aware of when you do things for him. Even if you see them as little things, or if others will see them as unimportant.
It usually feels like the weight of the world is on his shoulders—he takes care of so many people, and has so many responsibilities that it's extremely obvious to him when you do something for him.
He's not usually forthcoming with his emotions, but he tries to thank you.
Holding hands =how & when do they like holding hands?
Giving you his hands is one of the ultimate signs of trust he has.
While it has gotten better to an extent—he's more used to not wearing the gloves around people, more used to them being scared, etc.—he's still hesitant to actually give you his hand.
Part of it is him not feeling like his hands are his own at times, another is their sensitivity, and another is the fact that he finds it difficult to believe anyone could actually like his hands.
Early in the relationship, or even while you were just friends, he would apologize for his hand brushing up against your, or any time his hands had to touch your skin. All he sees it as is scared, vaguely numb tissue.
You initiated actually holding his hand. You made it clear that he could let go anytime he wanted, but he just let his hand rest in yours. You usually hold his hand while you're reading, or watching a movie, or doing anything that requires you to be stationary, really.
Injury =how would they act if you got injured?
Even when you have a smaller injury, like a scratch, he'll drop what he's doing to help you clean it up. If you cleaned it without telling him, and he finds out later, he'll make you undo the bandages, just to check, and cleans it up again.
For bigger injuries (like you being hospitalized), his world pauses. All his duties, all the things he needs to do and protect—it all gets brushed off to the side, or put on someone else. No one, and very little can lure him from the side of your hospital bed until you're better. He leaves for very small periods of time to take care of things, but he always comes right back. He just stares at you, and makes it seem like he doesn't hear when nurses tell him its time to leave.
Jealousy =do they get jealous easily & how do they deal with it?
It depends on who it is. For the most part, he knows your friends are your friends, and nothing else. Sometimes, he'll get spikes of insecurity about it, but he never lets it show, unless he really feels like one of the friends is into you.
He gets a bit jealous when strangers hit on you, or flirt with you—but doesn't usually do anything about it if you shut it down quickly, and they go away. If they don't get the hint, then he'll intervene. If you don't recognize that the person is flirting, then he gets a little more jealous, especially because to him, they're clearly showing interest, and you're just neutral about it.
As soon as someone touches you though, that's when they really get his attention.
Kiss =how/where they kiss you? How/where do they like to kiss you?
He likes kissing you on the forehead.
Love =who says 'I love you' first?
It may take a while, but you let him say it first.
Marriage =what are their views on marriage?
He's torn on marriage.
On one hand, it's not really his cup of tea; gathering a bunch of people around for several hours straight in order to glorify signing some documents that say you will spend the rest of your lives with each other. He thinks true commitment wouldn't require a document or a vow.
On the other hand, he likes the idea of showing off that you are his for an entire day. That, and having a physical symbol of your commitment to one another (being the ring). He couldn't imagine living his life without you, and if it was between that, and marrying you, he would marry you in a heart beat.
He keeps all of this to himself though, especially before the two of you have a proper conversation about marriage. He knows it's much more important to some people than others (him being a part of others), and he thinks it's worth discussing.
Nickname =what do they call you?
He usually calls you by your name, but occasionally he'll call you love, lovely or darling when you're alone.
Obvious =what is something about your relationship that is obvious to others?
The way he looks at you. His icy eyes seem to melt whenever they see you—even if he's not looking at you in a particularly affectionate way. He just looks at you kinder, like he gives you more grace than he gives other people.
Wong has noticed it for a while, even before the two of you became partners, he noticed Stephen just looked at you different.
Several of the first Avengers noticed it when you were in a meeting. Stephen and Tony were arguing about a strategy of attack, and when you interrupted, he looked at you like you had just pulled him back to Earth. He had gone from looking like he was about to push Tony into a portal to hell, to looking at you like you were an angel in seconds.
PDA =how much PDA do they like?
Generally, he doesn't mind meeting his partner's preference on their level of PDA. Sometimes, it may be a bit too much—there are times were he doesn't want to be touched, so he'll only allow you to touch him momentarily before moving away.
Quit =what's something you do that frustrates them?
It frustrates him when you don't tell him what's wrong. It annoys him a lot, and if he could chose one thing for you to stop doing, it would be keeping things from him.
Even if you don't go into immense detail, he would still like to know when something's bothering/upsetting you.
Rainy day =what do they like to do with you on rainy days?
As long as there's nothing vitally important to do, you finish training early, and drink tea, while reading. Stephen casts a spell that allows the sound of the rain to be amplified since it's calming.
Safe =how do they keep you safe?
He likes to make sure you're near him when you're fighting. The two of you train together often, so you are a good duo. But sometimes you get separated, and when that happens, he makes sure he is near you, or that someone else is.
Time =how long did it take you to get together?
You started dating after about a year and a half.
Upset =how do they act when you're upset?
As much as he would like to be affectionate, and comforting when you're upset, he feels like he just isn't. He tries to do things for you, he brings you anything you ask for. After a while of you feeling upset, he'll ask where you want to go. Anywhere you want to go, he'll take you. He just wants to see you smile again.
Vaunt =do they like to show you off?
Sometimes—he has actually never felt the need to show off his partners. He'll only start to show off when he's jealous.
Wild card =random fluff headcanon
He doesn't fall in love quickly, or often, but once he does, it's extremely intense. He's selective of who he spends time with—different people have different energies and he's highly perceptive of that.
Once he's with you, he's with you for the long run—the catch is that comes with insecurity. Insecurity about opening up, it's difficult for him to do so in the first place, so you will really have to be patient.
You're the only person who can properly comfort him, and you're also the only person he properly trusts. Losing you is his biggest fear.
X-Ray =how well are they able to read you?
Pretty well—he's very perceptive, so it's difficult to hide when something is off.
Yearning =how do they cope with being separated from you?
Whenever you're away, he always wonders about you. He wonders whether or not you've eaten, if you had enough water to drink, if you've slept recently...
He gets a slightly restless, and it's a bit more difficult for him to concentrate. It's something only the people who know him well enough would notice—he seems to be a little more high-strung, and wanting to get things done.
When you get back, he's accidentally clingy—not really leaving you alone, and constantly wanting to talk to you.
That's if you were gone away on a mission, or a trip.
If you're missing—his first priority is to find you. He will want to take charge of the situation. He's either locked away somewhere, intensely focusing on spells that'll help track you down and bring down whoever did this, or he is ordering people around. Wong tries to give him space, but still makes sure he doesn't do anything too impulsive. If for whatever reason, he can't find you within a week or two, things will begin to unravel, and the house will become more of a mess as he detaches, and stops caring.
Zen =what makes them feel calm?
It depends on what's bothering him. Sometimes meditating does the trick, sometimes it's simply a cup of tea and having the time to read. Sometimes it's you coaxing him and telling him it'll be okay.
After getting home from a mission, hugging you is usually the first thing he does. But if you're in bed, he'll take a shower, before climbing in and cuddle you.
